He was also one of the important members of Lose Mourinho’s UEFA Europa League team in the 2016-17 season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo took to Twitter to announce that he is planning to sign a maximum contract extension with the Milwaukee Bucks that is reported to be worth $228.2 million over five years, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. It is the largest deal on the history of the league, and the contract has an opt out clause in 2025.

Every team in the league has been waiting to see what Antetokounmpo’s decision would be, as the big man had until December 21 to sign the supermax extension. He could have waited until the offseason to sign a new contract after the deadline passed, making him an unrestricted free agent allowing him to sign with any team in the NBA.
In Antetokounmpo’s announcement, he said:

Barcelona’s Espai Camp Nou project was started under Josep Maria Bartomeu and was projected to cost the club around $600-700 million. Owing to the current pandemic situation and the lack of funds generated, that cost has shot up to more than double at $1.5 billion.
The club’s finances are the other major talking point in terms of problems for the future president. Up until very recently, there were talks of Barcelona becoming bankrupt.
However, they managed to avoid the situation reducing their wage bill by about £170 million by agreeing to wage reductions with their players.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis will suit up for Wednesday’s preseason game against the Phoenix Suns, making their first NBA game since winning the Finals in October, said Los Angeles Lakers check Frank Vogel.
On a video conference call with reporters, Vogel said, “I do plan on playing AD and LeBron some first-half minutes, but just to kind of get their feet wet.”

Both James and Davis sat out of the Lakers’ first two preseason games against the LA Clippers to rest. The franchise is easing the duo’s workload after training camp opened only seven weeks after the Lakers defeated Miami in Game 6 of the Finals on October 11.
“I just want to see them go out and try to get a rhythm,” said Vogel. “Get comfortable with some of their new teammates and try to get their legs under them a little bit. We’ve been trying to intentionally every day monitor the amount of work put on those guys after the shortest offseason in history, and that will be no different with these next two preseason games.”
James told reporters that with additions such as Dennis Schroder and Marc Gasol as playmakers, he will not necessarily reprise his role as point guard for the 2020-21 season, after leading the league in assists last season for the first time ever in his career.
