OnePlus has unveiled a new concept device of the OnePlus 8T smartphone, showing a different kind of technology on which the company is currently working. We have heard talks about apple working on its AI-powered car for months now. But now recent reports indicate that the Cupertino giant will finally unveil its first innovation in the field of Automobile in September of next year. According to recent sources, Apple has secured most of the production power of TSMC for the manufacturing 5nm process nodes. Tough the Taiwanese Semiconductor Manufacturing Company is currently working on its 3nm production facility, it seems to be focusing more on its 5nm technology.
Apple’s A14 Bionic is a prime example of the capacity of 5nm nodes. As such, the demand for technology has increased tremendously in the market. Fortunately for the Cupertino giant, the company has secured most of the production of TSMC for itself.
According to reports, the Cupertino-based tech giant has managed to get a hold of no less than 80 percent of TSMC’s 5 nm output for next year. Fort the remaining 20 percent go to quite a few clients, such as Qualcomm, MediaTek, Broadcom, and others.
Reports also indicate that TSMC will push the production to its maximum in the first quarter of 2021. It predicts that the production lines will hit a capacity of around 9,000 5 nm wafers per month. On Monday, December 21, Samsung has announced about its launch plans for TV Plus next year in a handful of markets in 2021. Specifically, the company intends to bring the platform to the markets of India, Mexico, Sweden, and more European countries.
Samsung TV Plus was launched in 2015 for limited access, but it has now been expanded to 12 countries (Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Korea, the US, and the UK) and 742 channels. The television market evolved on a huge scale this year. Thanks to the smartphone making companies like OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, etc who entered the television market. Smart TVs, running on Android TV OS, become used to run most of the Android applications. You just need to download the application from Google PlayStore. Vivo is about to launch Vivo V20 (2021) smartphone next year as a sibling of the current Vivo V20, that was unveiled recently. But the upcoming V20 (2021) is said to be a watered-down variant of the standard one. The Vivo V20 2021 moniker has appeared on several certification websites along with the Geekbench with a model number V2040.
As per its Geekbech scores, the upcoming V20 (2021) has managed to bag 553 points for the single-core and 1765 points for the multi-cores. From that listing, we’ve come to know that this device will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM.
On the other hand, it will run on the latest Android 11 OS. So, it looks quite a bit strange that a smartphone in 2021 will be powered by an octa-core chipset that has been launched two years ago. This device has appeared on India’s BIS certification as well that is hinting that the device is about to hit multiple markets. As of now, Vivo has not shared the specs of it. But we can expect almost similar specifications with the standard Vivo V20.
