Apple: one company but a whole lot of rumors

Apple is on fire, releasing new products and launching new technologies. We have already seen the awesomeness of the companies new silicon, and it seems that we have some more updates on the way. According to a tipster, we might get to see the new iPad Pro line and AirTags in the coming month, but the new Apple Silicon Macs and the cheaper AirPods Max aren’t expected to come anytime soon.

According to LeaksApplePro, we shouldn’t hold our breath for Apple Silicon Macs or a cheaper AirPods Max model. Apple’s AirPods Max is the company’s premium headphones and costs $549 (which is way more extreme for headphones).

Well, speaking about the new and much anticipated (I hope so) Apple AirPods Max, we previously heard that it would sport a complete plastic build. But from other sources, we also heard that the new AirPod Mins (it’s a cool name) will feature a slightly smaller earpad and will come for $399.

As for the Apple Silicon iMac, LeaksApplePro received stated that these have been delayed to October. This time, he mentions that Apple isn’t expected to announce Apple Silicon Macs in his tweet.

Another by the name of L0vetodream, earlier mentioned that the Apple Silicon iMac will drop in March, so we’ll see exactly who’s right starting next month.

We have a lot of information guys, so it’s best to treat it with a pinch of salt for now. March is less than two weeks from now, so we’ll see exactly what gets announced, so stay tuned.

Ralf Rangnick confirms he rejected Chelsea job

Among the many names linked with the position of head coach at Chelsea was that of former RB Leipzig manager Ralf Rangnick. The job has since been taken up by Thomas Tuchel, who formerly managed PSG and has been doing a flawless job at Stamford Bridge so far. 

However, Rangnick, who currently works as the head of sport and development at the Red Bull Arena, has confirmed that he turned down the chance to coach Chelsea in the Premier League. Since being replaced by Julian Nagelsmann in 2019, he has been out of management who has since done a tremendous job with the team.

Here is what Rangnick had to say regarding the issue: 

“I said: “I would like to come and work with you, but I can’t do it for four months. I’m not an interim coach”,” Rangnick told The Times. “To the media and players you would be the ‘four-month manager’, a lame duck, from day one.”

“Thomas became a coach through me. He was my player at Ulm and had to finish his career because of knee problems. I gave him a job as our Under-15 coach. He didn’t even intend being a coach, he was working at a bar in Stuttgart.

Julian Nagelsmann interested in Premier League management

RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann has been recognised as one of the best coaches in the world, emerging onto the scene with his work with Hoffenheim. The German managed to push the club into the Champions League for the first time in their history, before moving over to Leipzig. 

His work with the Red Bulls has been remarkable as well, managing to navigate into the semi-finals of the Champions League only to be knocked out by his former mentor and ex-PSG coach Thomas Tuchel.

The 33-year-old has now opened up about the prospect of one day managing in the Premier League, with many clubs from all over the continent interested in pursuing his services. 

Here is what he had to say regarding a future in management in England to the Telegraph ahead of Leipzig’s Champions League clash against Liverpool: 

 ‘I have a contract now until 2023 so I think I will stay in Leipzig.

‘I could imagine staying as a manager in the Bundesliga for my whole career. It’s cool to be a manager in my own country, I love it. But then perhaps in the future we can meet face-to-face in the Premier League, who knows.’

Manchester United’s dip in form can cost them the Premier League title

Manchester United should be concerned about the dip in their form. The Red Devils are in the title race this season. But they failed to deliver ever since they claimed the top spot on the table. Manchester City is now 7 points clear of their rivals with a game in hand.

Last weekend Manchester United drew again in the Premier League against West Bromwich Albion. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s man found them behind within the 81 seconds of the game as Mbaye Diagne gave West Brom an early lead. But Bruno Fernandes came to the rescue again for the Manchester United. The Portuguese midfielder scored a volley to equalise.

Manchester United has secured just 10 points in their last 7 games. Manchester United fans have already started to panic after the side’s poor form in the last couple of games. Paul Pogba, Eric Baily has some injury issues as well. Some fans feel that United is no longer in the title race despite Solskjaer insisting he won’t let the blue side of Manchester run away with the league. After the game against West Brom, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that, “I said we shouldn’t be talked about [in the title race]. A compliment to the boys we got into the position we are now. We won’t let them [Manchester City] run away with it – we’re playing them soon. We’re not giving it away early – no we’re not.”

Manchester United will take on Real Sociedad on Thursday in UEFA Europa League round of 32. After that they will face Newcastle United in the weekend in the Premier League.

Brooklyn Nets will be signing veteran guard Andre Roberson. Roberson will be reunited with Kevin Durant, who he was teammates with in Oklahoma City Thunder, and was once one of the NBA’s best defenders. In 2017, he was named Second-Team All-Defense in 2017, and played a key role for the Thunder in almost reaching the 2016 NBA Finals. 

29-year-old Roberson missed 30 months because of a torn patella tendon — the same injury that almost ended Jeremy LIn’s career— before rejoining the Thunder in the “bubble” where he suited up for seven games, putting up minimal numbers but proving he can play. He averaged 2.9 points and 3.9 rebounds in 12.4 minutes in those games. Going into the 2020-21 season, the Thunder released him.

On Monday night, the Nets beat the Sacramento Kings 136-125 and now own a 17-12 record. After their game, the Nets waived Norvel Pelle making space to sign Andre Roberson a few hours later. Pelle came along with the James Harden trade, sending Jarrett Allen to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In three games, Pelle averaged two points, 2.3 rebounds and one block per night.

When he was a starter for four years in Oklahoma City, Roberson averaged merely five points and 4.3 rebounds per game but was known as a defender.

Apart from his health, Roberson’s offense has largely been the reason why he has remained unsigned for so long. He is a career 25.5 percent shooter on 3-pointers, and what is perhaps even more damaging, is that he has made less than 47 percent of his free throws. Teams routinely left him unguarded on offense, and while he developed into a smart cutter to help alleviate some of the damage his offense was doing, he would never be mistaken for good or even half-decent on that side of the ball.

The Nets are currently standing third on the Eastern Conference table and appear to have all that talent clicking together but Brooklyn has one of the worst — if not the worst — defense in the league, and more than enough scoring power with Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving, so defense is all that matters now when it comes to making improvements.

Legend Michael Jordan donates $10 million to aid medical clinics

Basketball legend and Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan has decided to donate $10 million to help open two medical clinics in North Carolina. On Monday, in an announcement from Novant Health, the health care system revealed they can now open new clinics in early 2022 in New Hanover County, North Carolina, which is Jordan’s hometown.

The clinics will serve the uninsured or underinsured residents of New Hanover County. “Everyone should have access to quality health care, no matter where they live, or whether or not they have insurance.” said Jordan, in a statement. “Wilmington holds a special place in my heart and it’s truly gratifying to be able to give back to the community that supported me throughout my life.”

This is not the first time that the Chicago Bulls legend has stepped up to help his community. In 2017, Jordan donated $7 million to Novant Health to open two clinics in Charlotte. The commitment came with a pledge to provide resources to communities with little or no health care.

Per Novant Health, Jordan’s clinics in Charlotte have been able to treat over 4,000 patients while also giving out more than 1,000 COVID-19 vaccinations.

“This pandemic has exacerbated health equity gaps across our state, making our efforts to close them even more emergent. We look forward to standing these clinics up as quickly as possible to ensure all members of the community have access to necessary medical care” said Novant Health President and CEO Carl Armato. “We are so appreciative of Michael’s unwavering commitment to help us bring affordable care to our communities that need it most. It’s not only an investment in us as a partner, but it’s an investment in each and every person that our clinics can reach,” he added.

The NBA veteran has made it a habit of donating to charitable functions since retiring from the league. Last May, after the tragic death of George Floyd, Jordan revealed that his company, Jordan Brand, would donate $100 million over the next 10 years for “racial equality, social justice, and greater access to education.”

Surprisingly all these four players are on the radar of Juventus. The Italian side has faced some difficulties this season. Juventus are now 4th in the table in Serie A. They are 8 points behind the leaders AC Milan with a game in hand.

The Italian Giant has seen some worst time in the last couple of months for the lack of depth in the squad. So, to stretch the depth of the squad the Old Lady will go for the business in the transfer window and they surely give a tough competition to the Spanish side.

Exclusive: Intel’s Comet Lake refresh Core i3-10105 processor spotted on Geekbench

The Blue team announced their new CEO in the form of Pat Gelsinger yesterday; soon, they are about to launch the new Rocket Lake-S desktop processors in the coming months. However, not all of them will come with new Cypress Cove architecture; the Core i3 series will essentially be a Comet Lake refresh.

Recently we spotted the Core i3-10105F with new packaging, confirming its presence, so naturally, its “non-F” CPU with Intel graphics has to be there. Now, with the leaked Geekbench score, its existence is seemingly confirmed, and it still comes with 4 cores along with 8 threads.

The Core i3-10105 will come with 3.69 GHz base and 4.39 GHz boost frequencies, a healthy 100MHz bump in both base and boost from its predecessor Core i3-10100.

It comes with a good score of 1163 points in single-core and 3825 points in multi-core. Not a huge increase in from last-gen which comes with 1106 points in single-core and 4080 points in multi-core.

The performance of the leaked CPU should increase eventually with the right drivers and the RAM here seemed to be slower. So, in the coming days, we can expect more benchmarks of the Comet Lake refresh – Core i3-10105, scheduled to be launched soon.

David Alaba is set to leave Bayern Munich, CONFIRMED

As speculated since January, David Alaba is confirmed to leave at the end of the current season, with his contract set to expire in the summer. The news has further been detailed by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano on his social media handles, with his final destination yet to be confirmed. 

Real Madrid have reportedly been in contact with the player since the winter transfer window. They have reached a verbal agreement with the player, but the official contract is yet to be signed by the player. 

The speculated pre-contract agreement will see the player sign a deal for four years with Los Blancos, committing to the Spanish club on paper till 2025. He is expected to draw a salary worth €12 million per season which will put him amongst the highest earners at the club. 

It is well known that Alaba dreams of playing for Real Madrid, but the move has not yet been finalised. Moreover, the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool are also in pursuit of the Austrian in an attempt to bolster their own defense.

But, with that said, the priority for the soon to be an ex-Bayern man is to feature at the Spanish capital next season.
