Apart from LG, the Taiwanese tech giant has taken a giant leap to make its first 8K QLED TV. The brand has already showcased it at the IFA 2018 & has promised to make it available by the end of this month.
At the show, Samsung unveiled its first 8K TV, the Q900R. It has a QLED panel and has 4 size variants – 65-inch, 75-inch, 82-inch & the 85-inch.
The panel supports a peak brightness of 4,000 nits and also supports the new HDR10+ format, backed by Samsung itself & Amazon.
The major disadvantage of 8K TVs is that as for now it does not have any 8K content to show. So, Samsung has done an innovative thing by making its own upscaling technology.
Samsung has made an “8K AI Upscaling” feature and has embedded into the TV. So, this AI in the TV will automatically detect your digital content format and upscale it to 8K, so that you do not regret after buying the 8K QLED TV.
Well, Samsung has already stated that it will make its TV available by the end of September. But as for price, no confirmation has been stated by the company, but you can expect it to reveal by the end of the month.

The 13-inch version of the laptop supports up to 1TB of SSD & 16GB DDR4 memory. On the other hand, the 15-inch & 17-inch versions of the laptop have options for up to 2TB of hard drive & SSD storage up to 256GB. Also, there’s the option of Intel Optane memory as well.
This Inspiron 7000 series features a small webcam above the display. A fingerprint sensor has also been given for quick & easy login.

Manchester United star Paul Pogba wants to play under Zinedine Zidane amid links to Barcelona and Juventus.
The World Cup winner grew up idolising the France legend. Pogba grew up playing football on the streets of Paris. He turned down the chance to be managed by the 46-year-old at Real Madrid two-years ago. He opted to rejoin his old club Manchester United instead.
Paul Pogba is understood to want out from Manchester United. It seems that Juventus is his No 1 destination because of Cristiano Ronaldo. But Manchester United are so far, however, holding firm. They insist that the 25-year-old is going nowhere despite his ongoing power struggle with Mourinho.
Pogba is hellbent on playing under Zidane who has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Mourinho. It seems Zidane would be keen on a move to Old Trafford. After leaving Real Madrid at the end of last season following their Champions League success.
A Red Devils source said: “Paul grew up with Zidane as his hero and would like to play for him at some stage in his career. He could have back at Real, but he felt he had unfinished business at United. And Real’s interest only came along very late in the day. Paul has a similar all action style to Zidane and a lot of what he days was off the back of watching him and learning from him.”
Jose Mourinho is one of the early favourites to get sacked this season, with calls from many fans to replace him with a fresh approach. Meanwhile, Barcelona are also interested in trying to bring Pogba to the club and could make a fresh approach in January.

England great Alaister Cook announced on Monday he would retire from international cricket after the end of the ongoing home series against India, with the opening batsman saying the time was right as he had “nothing left in the tank”.
The 33-year-old Essex left-hander is England’s all-time leading Test runscorer with 12,254 runs at 44.88 including 32 hundreds,56 fifties,173 catches, 4 Ashes series wins, while his run of 158 consecutive Test appearances is a world record.
But the former England captain, who has played in 160 Tests in total, has struggled for runs recently and averages a meagre 18.92 from nine Tests this year.
“There is nothing left in the tank,” said Cook, who captained his country in a record 59 Tests.
The fifth Test of the series, in which England have an unassailable 3-1 lead, starts on Friday at The Oval.
Cook is sixth on the all-time list of Test run-scorers and has made a record 11,627 runs as an opener.
He added: “I have achieved more than I could have ever imagined and feel very privileged to have played for such a long time alongside some of the greats of the English game.”
