The White Tiger Movie Review in Details

This movie is based on Aravind Adiga’s 2006 Man Booker Prize-winning outstanding novel. The film The White Tiger tells the story of a man named Balram. This man tries to put himself out of the poverty and the chains of caste to be a successful entrepreneur. The White Tiger depicts struggles of poverty in an unknown village near Dhanbad. The father of this man who is a rickshaw puller dying because of tuberculosis, also shows his life being a bright student to work in a tea stall.

He is not the type of man who accepts his card’s life, so when he got to know that a rich family in Dhanbad has needed a driver for their America-returned son, Ashok, he just adopt the driving skill., thus he gets the job and makes himself indispensable. As a good servant, he has performed his job very well but inevitably thrown under the bus at the first sign of trouble.

The director of this film Ramin Bahrani, who has written the screenplay has tried to avoid the clinches of exotic India. As he has a proficient, light hand at the wheel, so he has to tolerate many hypocrisies that make modern India from the outright brutality of Ashok’s father and also his brother to the meaningful but inefficient kindnesses of Ashok and his wife, Pinky.

This movie revolves around heavy-duty themes of caste, corruption, globalization, and entrepreneurship. All the cast and scripting are brilliant. By playing the lead role of Balram, Adarsh Gaurav has revealed his first lead role, from the switching to a caring, hurt to anger and the despair to optimism in a moment.

The dialog of Balram from this movie that doesn’t for a second think there was a million-rupee game show one can win to get out, that remembered you of Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire, that can depict The White Tiger’s spiritual sibling with its 70’s Hindi films. This film is very charming, funny, and also heartbreaking kind. This movie will also give us the thrill of riding with this heroic driver.

Resilience, Checkmate & Adbhut Esports grabs top spot in Three video game categories

Rankings for other video games will also be unveiled soon

New Delhi, January 25, 2021: Esports Federation of India (ESFI) in a bid to streamline the sport as well as bring in legitimacy among the gamers involved, released the first-ever national ranking system based on the open ranking tournaments played in the last two months to determine the best performing players. Team Resilience, Checkmate, and Adbhut Esports have topped the individual categories in the national rankings.

ESFI released national rankings for games- Call of Duty Mobile (Battle Royale), FreeFire and Valorant, which are some of the most popular video games and played by many. The performances of 60, 65 and 26 open matches conducted for Call of Duty Mobile, FreeFire and Valorant respectively during the period of November to December in 2020 were considered while announcing these rankings.

“With esports being included as a medal event at the 2022 Asian Games among other major Championships, it is important that we follow all the necessary requirements like in any other medal sports to determine the best players of the country. In the month of November and December, we organised several scrims and there have been huge responses in these events. While the gamers (athletes) showcased great technique and competitive, each scrim was keenly contested before the champions were declared,” ESFI Director Lokesh Suji said.

Seven-member Team Resilience pitted themselves very strongly with 682 points and were declared the top team in the Call of Duty (Mobile) category followed by Team Revolution (629) and Zelotz 2EZ (627) taking the second and third position respectively. Checkmate (111) and Adbhut Esports (78) became the winners in the Freefire and Valorant categories respectively.

“Creating a pool of credible national gamers is a key responsibility that ESFI intends to shoulder in order to initiate and streamline a professional approach towards playing and organizing tournaments that are played in India. The athletes will help to maintain a certain standard of play, it will also regulate the esports ecosystem,” Suji further added.

While Esports witnessed exponential rise in the pandemic which catapulted the urge to create a community closer and build a much bigger plethora of professional athletes in order to determine the future of Esports in India. ESFI will continue with the process of announcing national rankings for various games in the future as well.

While, Free Fire Daily T1/T2/T3, Call of Duty Mobile Battle Royale scrims season 2 and multiplayer are already underway, Valorant will also begin from the last week of January with more games like PES, DOTA 2, FIFA , CR, COC and Brawl Stars to take place soon.

Prices of GeForce RTX 3060 put NVIDIA’s GA106 card at more than 150% of MSRP

A month away from the launch of GeForce RTX 3060 and according to NVIDIA, this card will start at £299 and US$329. Whereas many custom GeForce RTX 3060s will have the price tag of £499.99 on the official website with varying prices between £457 and £513.

NVIDIA is only giving on their website, date of ‘coming late February’. The company has suggested that the GeForce RTX 3060 will start from £299 or US$329, which makes it US$50 and £50 cheaper than its Ti-branded cards.

In the last month, we have seen that the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti’s official price is only for the Founders Edition cards. Most of the board partners have attached the price tag on GeForce RTX 3060 Ti at 13% to 27% higher than NVIDIA’s MRP. Meanwhile, Palit has launched this card at less than £400 in the UK.

For the manufacturers or those who are aware of the graphics card market, nothing is new for them. No retailer still hasn’t revealed officially any price for the GeForce RTX 3060. But on the website of CCL Computers, you can see the prices of individual cards in the ‘recently viewed’ and ‘similar products’ panes. The prices vary between £457.12 to £513.86.

According to those prices, you have to pay more £158.12 than NVIDIA’s MSRP for GeForce RTX 3060, which is 53% as a percentage. It seems that NVIDIA is not going to release any Founders Edition version for the GeForce RTX 3060. Until the stock refills, it is assumed that the prices of GeForce RTX 3060 may not return to NVIDIA’s MSRP.

SpaceX launches record 143 satellites in a cosmic rideshare program

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk’s SpaceX aerospace company launched a batch of 143 spacecraft to space from Florida on Sunday morning under the company’s new cost-cutting SmallSat Rideshare Program. According to SpaceX, this is a new record for the most spaceships deployed on a single mission.

Unveiled in 2019, SpaceX’s SmallSat Rideshare Program is a service that provides small satellite operators access to space, according to the company. Starting at $1 million for the first 485 pounds, the program offers relatively cheap access. Much like a rideshare Uber, a company can ditch the plan of buying an entire rocket at a much higher price, and instead, its small satellite can hitch a ride to space with other spacecraft.

Due to bad weather, an initial launch attempt was called off on Saturday. 24 hours later, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from its Cape Canaveral Space Force Station launch pad at 10 AM ET, flying along the eastern coast of Florida on its way to space. Satellites ranging from shoebox-sized CubeSats to much heavier microsatellites were sent to a 326-mile-high polar orbit — an unusual trajectory for a Florida launch site. 

The Falcon 9 launch is SpaceX’s third so far this year, it has created a new record of the most satellites carried to space on a single rocket, previously held by an Indian satellite launch in 2017 carrying 104 satellites. According to the Verge, “the 143 spacecraft aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 include 48 Earth-imaging satellites dubbed SuperDoves from Planet, 17 tiny communications satellites for Toronto-based Kepler, and 30 small satellites for the US and Europe packaged by Berlin, Germany-based Exolaunch.”

Celestis, a spaceflight memorial company, has small capsules of human ashes aboard the flight. Also hitching a ride are ten Starlink satellites, this sees SpaceX inch toward the 1,000 mark for the number of active satellites in space supporting its broadband internet constellation.

DARPA, the Pentagon’s R&D agency, saw two of its 187-pound satellites damaged during launch processing in Cape Canaveral so it pulled out from the rideshare mission earlier this month.

The Transporter-1 mission comes just four days after 60 Starlink satellites were launched to space by SpaceX. A remarkably eventful year in orbit awaits the world as SpaceX, OneWeb, and other aerospace companies race to build vast constellations of internet-beaming satellites.

In the meantime, the upcoming budget Acer Nitro 5 has been leaked including the benchmarks as well as on Baidu. This could give a fair idea about the performance we could expect from the upcoming fan-favorite Ryzen 7 5800H processor.

In Cinebench R20, the Ryzen 7 5800H scores 555 points in single-core, whereas in multi-core, you get 4809 points. This is a fair improvement from last gen’s Ryzen 7 4800H, which scored 472 points and 3847 points in single-core and multi-core benchmarks respectively.

So, this is almost 17% improvement in terms of single-core performance and 25% improvement in multi-core. Obviously, this kind of performance on mobile will help gamers to get more gaming performance and shows how these AMD processors are poised to perform well with beefier GPU solutions, which until now was restricted to Intel CPUs only.

We also see the laptop with 16GB RAM in some gaming benchmarks like Shadow of the Tomb Raider at high settings giving 48 FPS at 1080p. While its evident that to get the best of this gaming CPU, you need a good GPU as well but nevertheless we do get to know how great these new AMD Zen 3 CPUs will be.

The laptop has also been spotted by @955pro in Time Spy benchmark but with RTX 3060 paired and the score look quite well with an overall score of 8941 points.

This aggressive comparison came in the ad from Microsoft, where it has praised its Surface Pro 7. The software giant stated that the Surface Pro 7 is much better and affordable than the latest machine Apple.

In the 30-second video on YouTube, Microsoft points out the most lacking point of MacBook Pro – the touchscreen or stylus support. It has highlighted the detachable keyboard of Surface Pro 7, which allows effortless portability. Besides these, you can’t ignore the price difference. The MacBook Pro starts at $1,299, while the Microsoft 10 slate starts at $890. Microsoft disabled the comment section to avoid criticism.

Apple MacBook Pro features the in-house 5nm M1 chip. This processor can provide 20-hour battery life, and it is far ahead when comparing the performance. The Surface Pro 7 isn’t good enough like Apple’s device in battery endurance. This chipset of Apple is a performance beast.

When it was tested with Windows 10 through virtualization, even it does reduce the performance of M1, the chipset still able to beat Microsoft Surface Pro X. Surface Pro 7 doesn’t feature any Thunderbolt 3 ports, but featuring this, MacBook Pro will be more portable.

This was not the very first time that Microsoft targets Apple in an ad form. Previously the company had compared Surface Laptop 2 with MacBook Air, claiming that its device is better in performance and battery life.

Gareth Bale joined Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 for €100 million. He was seen as the successor of Cristiano Ronaldo. In the initial years, he was pretty good for the Spanish side.

Tottenham Hotspur manager has now told Gareth Bale that he has to earn minutes, it won’t be given to him. Mourinho said: “I cannot give players minutes – minutes on the pitch is not something I can give. We all know the difficulties that he had for a couple of seasons. We all know that he arrived injured, we all know that even this season [he is] a little bit up and down with small things.”

“The most important thing for him is to be consistent in training, at high intensity without any problems, and when a player is consistent in training then the player is ready, not to be given minutes but to earn minutes. That’s a different thing.”

He further added: “It’s also about his own feelings. If he feels that the [past] week has had a positive impact on him and on his confidence, he will play.”
