On Wednesday, Los Angeles Lakers megastar LeBron James rang in his 36th birthday by extending his 10+ point-scoring streak to quadruple digits, making him the first player in the NBA history score a minimum of 10 points in 1,000 consecutive regular games.
The moment came in a game against the San Antonio Spurs. With about six minutes left in the second quarter, James drew a mismatch on the post against Keldon Johnson, backed him down, and put up an easy hook shot for two points. He ended the night with 26 points in a 121-107 Lakers win.
After the game, James said, “I just go out there and try to prepare and be the best every night I step on the floor.” “If I’m in uniform I’ve got to do things that help our team win. If It’s scoring, rebounding, defending, assisting, doing little thing. Just be available for my teammates throughout the course of the game when I’m on the floor, also on the bench. And I’ve been fortunate enough to do that throughout my career for the majority of it,” he added.
This is LeBron James’ 18th season in the NBA.

The record was previously held by Michael Jordan by scoring at least 10 points in 866 games straight. James passed it for the longest double-digit scoring streak in NBA history on March 30, 2018. He scored 27 points against the New Orleans Pelicans to move up to the No. 1 spot on the all-time list with 867 consecutive games of at least 10 points. The second-longest active streak belongs to James Harden at 411 consecutive games. The streak itself is equivalent to almost 12.2 full seasons in a row. Great Hall of Famers like James Worthy and Isiah Thomas did not even play 1,000 regular-season games in their whole career.
With the level of expectations on the managers of Premier League teams reaching Utopian heights, it is not unlikely for fans to be calling for the sack after only a couple of poor results for the teams in England.
Manchester United is one of the most difficult teams to manage on the planet. While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been subject to tremendous pressure ever since taking up the job at his former playing club, there is hope that the Norwegian will be in charge for the foreseeable future at the very least.
With the recent run of successful results, Manchester United find themselves in second place behind arch rivals Liverpool. Speaking on the future of the United boss on their Here We Go podcast, Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio made it clear that the club were planning to stick with Solskjaer.
Rumours linking Mauricio Pochettino with the job at Manchester United are not new, and with the Argentinian set to join Paris Saint-Germain as their new boss following the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel, Solskjaer’s job looks secure.
Fabrizio Romano also mentioned that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had recently called Amad Diallo, who is on the verge of becoming a Manchester United player in the days to come.
Have you ever faced difficulty managing the battery life of your smartphone? Have you ever felt that if your smartphone could last longer without charging again, how convenient it would have been for you? Whenever you have to go out for a day, you have to carry the extra weight of a power bank or any other portable charger. How great it could have been if you can make your smartphone run a few more hours without charging it again?
Today, we are going to discuss 5 ways through which you can increase the battery life of your smartphone.
1. Turn your mobile location/GPS off
We constantly use multiple applications on our smartphone which demands access to our location. Turning your GPS location on helps you using these applications but at the same time, it consumes a lot of battery. Thus, resulting in speedy loss of your battery life.
To turn off your GPS location, go to settings and turn off ‘location’. This will aid in conserving a great deal of the battery life of your device.
2. Reduce your screen brightness
If your smartphone is draining very quickly, brightness can be one of the most important reasons! High brightness leads to a loss of battery life easily, especially for devices with sharper screens. This is because of more pixels. What you can do in this? Reduce the brightness of your device.
If you are outside, using your smartphone in sunlight, then you have to increase the brightness so that screen can be visible. But other than that, keep the brightness of your device on a lower side.
3. Put a dark wallpaper
This might sound odd, but putting a bright wallpaper with a lot of colours does consume the battery life of your device faster. A display with many colours will eat up more energy of your battery. Similarly, stay away from using moving or animated wallpapers. These wallpapers are very tempting to put on but they will drain your battery very fast.
4. Limit applications those are running in the background
Even if you have closed the apps does not mean that they are not running in the background. Thus, they keep on eating a part of your battery life thus draining it faster. To refrain your apps from doing so, click on Settings > Apps & Notifications and tap Advanced > Battery > Background restriction.
5. Keep your phone on silent and lower the volume
Why? This is because whenever your smartphone rings due to a call or beeps due to a message, it has to generate energy to buzz. This energy generation drains your battery. Thus, to avoid your device to do it, you can just keep your phone on silent mode. Also try to keep the media volume low as possible and use headphone while accessing any media content.
Keep the air free from pollutants and air-borne nasties wherever you are with the LUFT Duo – the personal air purifier from LUFTQI
The first ever portable and filterless air purifier, the LUFT Duo, will make its worldwide debut at CES 2021 after smashing its crowd-funding goals and raising more than 20 times its original target on Indiegogo.
Developed by Taiwanese consumer electronics brand LUFTQI, the LUFT Duo is unlike traditional purifiers in that it’s portable, doesn’t require expensive filter replacements, and uses UVA LED and photocatalytic tech to zap dust, pollen, mold, and pathogens down to the molecule.
As the successor to the Luft QI 1.0 and the Luft Cube 2.0, this molecular air purifier is a must-have gadget for those with allergies or asthma, who live in built-up, congested areas, or those who just want some extra health security in their homes.
Building on their brand slogan of “Good air, anytime and anywhere”, the LUFT Duo stays true to the company’s small-but-powerful product design while bringing a sense of security to those living through the COVID-19 pandemic.
No extra parts, no byproducts
The clever design of LUFT Duo means it creates zero unnecessary waste with a replaceable, washable filter. To keep a LUFT Duo in working order, all users have to do is remove the filter and gently clean.
Compared to HEPA filters, which are only capable of trapping certain pollutants, LUFTQI’s patented photocatalytic technology allows the LUFT Duo to also decompose pollutants too small for HEPA filters – such as formaldehyde, which measures 0.00001mm – as well as molds, VOCs, and pathogens.
The LUFT Duo design is also eco-friendly, producing zero ozone as it purifies.
Why is portability important?
It’s portable and compact design means the LUFT DUO can be used in cars, coffee shops, offices, or airplanes, making it the perfect personal travel companion for those who suffer from asthma or allergies and may be more at risk during the pandemic.
Through research conducted by a host of third-party research labs, including an
Anti-Coronaviral Viral Activity Test at Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan, LUFTQI found that the Coronavirus cannot survive in the air for more than one hour when near a LUFT Duo, compared to its usual 21-hour airborne lifespan.
By bringing this technology into a portable form, users can ensure the air around them is clean and safe at all times – unlike traditional, stationary purifiers which might not be powerful enough to destroy all pollutants in every room of the home.
Silent, but deadly to pollutants
After listening to feedback from LUFT QI 1.0 and LUFT Cube 2.0 users, LUFTQI designed the LUFT Duo to be twice as powerful as its predecessors, but half as noisy, meaning it won’t disturb you – or the others around you – during use.
It has a Night Mode setting which enables a darker light of 0.2 lumens and quieter running sound of just 19 decibels so as not to disturb you while sleeping.
The LUFT Duo is also capable of purifying air in a 240-square foot space, meaning only one is needed for an entire home.
Best of all, there’s no complex or intricate setup required for the LUFT Duo – simply plug in and turn on with a single button press.
Award-winning and available now
LUFTQI is no stranger to recognition, with its previous offering, the LUFT Cube 2.0, winning the CES 2020 Innovation Award and a Taiwan Excellence Award in 2020. The LUFT Duo has already received a Taiwan Excellence 2021 award, as well as the SNQ Taiwan (Symbol of National Quality) certification.
The LUFT Duo is currently in mass production, and has already sold 20,000 units across Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. The device is also available for purchase in the US and UK through its IndieGoGo page for $149, which includes the LUFT Duo, power cable, vent cap for more controlled air flow, and a cup holder so that it can be used in your car securely. A specially-designed travel bag is also available.
“When creating LUFT Duo, we wanted to create an air purifier that you could take anywhere with you. LUFTQI not only wants to make their customers’ worlds healthier, cleaner places, but we also have a commitment to eco-friendliness with reusable filters and as few byproducts as possible,” says Titus Chang, CEO at LUFTQI.

With the sacking of Thomas Tuchel as manager of Paris Saint-Germain on Christmas Eve, the club is currently without a man in charge of their first team. Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been very closely linked with a job and has been given the “Here We Go” by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, meaning that the deal is as good as done.
Clarifying the situation on the “Here We Go” podcast on Patreon, Fabrizio Romano, and Francesco Porzio said that only minor details had to be sorted out between the club and Pochettino.
While rumors are flying about linking all sorts of players with Paris Saint-Germain when the Argentinian takes charge, it must be kept in mind that the deal is yet to be made official by both parties.
Dele Alli has been heavily linked with a potential loan move to France. The rumor makes sense because the player is not getting a lot of playing time under Jose Mourinho and is looking to move away for the sole purpose of getting minutes on the pitch.
Elsewhere, Christian Eriksen is also being linked with a move to Paris to help out with the game’s attacking side. However, there are currently no advanced talks between the two clubs going on.
In PSG’s first meeting with Pochettino, a budget and a clear direction will be agreed upon for the club’s future. The Parisians’ main priority is negotiating a new contract with their star player Kylian Mbappe, who has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid but could be convinced to stay if the project with Pochettino looks promising enough.
As announced by Inter Milan, Christian Eriksen will be on the transfer list when the January transfer window opens with the club desperately trying to get rid of the Dane as soon as possible.
With the highly anticipated appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as the next manager of Paris Saint-Germain, rumours have been flying around linking Eriksen with a move to the French capital and a possible reunion with his former coach.
The two know each other well from their time together at Tottenham, and have a great relationship.Mauricio Pochettino really likes Eriksen as a player and it wouldn’t be the wildest thing to see them working together in France.
PSG’s Sporting Director Leonardo apparently likes Eriksen as well, and could be open to a move for the Inter Milan outcast in January. However, as reported by Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio in the “Here We Go” podcast on Patreon, there are no talks in place between the two clubs for a deal involving the midfielder.
There were rumours linking Leandro Paredes with a swap move to Inter Milan with Eriksen going the other way. However, the journalistic pair dismissed the rumours of a swap deal as well.
While Inter Milan are still waiting to receive the right bid for Eriksen, he is sure to leave the club. Paris Saint-Germain’s economic strength makes them top contenders to land the signature of the player, along with their need for an attack minded midfielder to take the creative pressure off the front three.
The whole world is eagerly waiting for Samsung’s next flagship series, the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup. In the meantime, Samsung US official has dropped a teaser video on its official YouTube channel. For the unknown, you can only view this video if you have the actual link to the video. You cannot see it on a YouTube search, channel, or a browsing page. Apart from it, Samsung has confirmed its Display Technology Event on January 6 and all-new Exynos on January 12. Now, let’s talk about that video briefly.
The main attraction of that teaser video is a tagline from which it begins: “New Year, New ways to express yourself” and after that, it starts showing the evolution of the Galaxy S series of smartphones, starting with 2010’s first-ever Galaxy S, Galaxy S5’s water-resistance feature, curved display in the Galaxy S6 to a hole-punch display in the S10 and S20 series.
After all those things, the teaser video ends with a phrase, “A new Galaxy Awaits” in 2021. That’s why, it clearly indicates that this teaser video from Samsung is definitely hinting about its upcoming S series, the Galaxy S21 series. As per reports, there will be a total of three models in the S21 series: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. As of now, the specifications of those three S-series smartphones have already been up in the media. The company has not confirmed the official launch date of this S21 series. However, it is expected that the Galaxy S21 lineup will get launched on January 14, 2021.
As per directions of the Hon’ble Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (“TRAI”), Bill and Keep regime is being implemented in the country from 1st January 2021, thereby ending interconnect usage charges (IUC) for all domestic voice calls. Honouring its commitment to revert off-net domestic voice-call charges to zero, as soon as IUC charges are abolished, Jio will once again make all off-net domestic voice calls free, starting 1st January On-net domestic voice calls have always been free on the Jio network.
For context, in September 2019, when TRAI extended the timeline for implementation of the Bill & Keep regime beyond 1st January 2020, Jio was left with no option but to start charging its customers for offnet voice calls, at a rate exactly equivalent to the applicable IUC charge. While doing so, Jio had assured its users that this charge would continue only till the time TRAI abolished IUC charges. Today, Jio has delivered on that promise and made off-net voice calls free again.
Jio stands firm on its commitment to make the common Indian the beneficiary of advanced technologies like VoLTE. Jio is a CUSTOMER-OBSESSED ORGANIZATION and CARES FOR EVERY SINGLE USER. All our users enjoy free voice calls with Jio.
Jio is committed to lay the foundation of a DIGITAL SOCIETY – a society where everything, everyone, everywhere is connected with the best quality service, at the lowest price globally, and has to access to the most advanced digital platforms. Nvidia’s latest GeForce RTX 30 series is set to make its debut during the CES 2021 event and we are more than excited to see what the company brings to the performance table. As we already that the company has been recently plagued by a lack of supply for its graphics cards. As for when the supply constraint problem will be solved we still have no idea.
The latest news about the company is a strange one indeed, as we are hearing the scoop that 500,000 GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards had gone missing during transit. And guess what, they have now been found in an unlabeled shipping container in South Korea.
The news turned out to be a fake one and we are not smiling. It all started with an employee at Samsungs subsidiary port, and the frustration he had from not being able to buy the Nvidia graphics cards. The employee noticed that stacks of boxes with Nvidia’s logo stamped on them were not listed on any of the port’s records.
What made the news convincing is the fact that it had pictures of boxes in a shipping container.
There is even a supposed quote from Nvidia on the matter, explaining the situation to shareholders. The only problem is, none of it happened. Later on, the article’s author updated the article saying that “This is a fake news story created and published on December 28 in celebration of the Holy Innocents Day in Spain. The content of it is false and has been created with a satirical humorous purpose. We hope you had fun reading it.”
The news has added to our frustration, even more, half a million modules of the card going missing are hard to believe. But them being found would have certainly solved most of the supply constraint problem which Nvidia is facing. But, destiny has its plans.
