A new futuristic level of Fall Guys Season 4 has been revealed

The upcoming Season 4 of Fall Guys will feature a sci-fi theme and will be called Fall Guys 4041. Because it is set in the year 4041 – a time of rocketships, space travel, and robots if the recent promos of this battle royale game show anyhow true. One level has been revealed among the seven new Seasons 4, and it is called Skyline Stumble.

Skyline Stumble is a map of 60 players that will feature pinball flippers or in the language of Fall Guys “Flippity Bippities”, as well as “Chonky Buttons”, “Spicy Light Swingers” and the more traditionally named low-gravity-zones and forcefields. Though they could redub Home Domies and Floaty Go-Byes.

A few new costumes are coming to the new season of Fall Guys 4, such as a disco mirrorball, a man in black with a brain slug, and a shark. On March 15, the release date of Season 4 will be announced, when a double fame point event starts.

Regarding the update, the new owner of the studio said Fall Guys “gameplay isn’t changing” and that it is going to continue to support the game across platforms. The developer also informed that they are willing to bring in some features offered in Epic titles Fortnite and Rocket League to Fall Guys including cross-play, squad vs squad modes, and account system.

Mediatonic also raised the game’s topic, potentially adopting a free-to-play model like the aforementioned games of Epic, stating, “Nothing to announce right now!”

Facebook to include ads now in Short Videos and Stories

In a broader push to attract popular social-media influencers, Facebook Inc. plans to run more advertising on shorter videos. This new feature will help them compete with rivals TikTok.

The social media giant said ads will appear on clips as short as one minute. according to a blog post on Thursday, which said that earlier only videos at least three minutes long were eligible. Those ads will usually play after 30 seconds of a shorter video and videos longer than three minutes can place ads as soon as 45 seconds into the video. Eligibility criteria are also being expanded to include popular creators who primarily record live or short videos.

The initial test is “very small,” Facebook said but hoped it could expand it “soon” and finally apply the technology to all short-form videos on Facebook. “We want to make sure that there is more content that can be monetized,” said Yoav Arnstein, Facebook’s director of product management. “We know that short-form video is becoming far more popular.”

From these ads, 45% of the revenue goes to Facebook with the rest of it bagged by the creators. The new changes may help the California-based company lure influencers who have thrived on other platforms that specialize in short-form videos, such as ByteDance Ltd.’s TikTok and Snap Inc.’s Snapchat.

Four years after the company introduced Stories, user-generated posts that disappear after 24 hours, it will experiment with letting some creators make money from Facebook Stories with ad stickers laid on top, the company said.

With a huge surge in popularity for TikTok, a new battle has kicked-off for talented video creators, with social-media companies moving with urgent haste to offer new ways to make money on their platforms.

According to a report by Bloomberg, “last month, Twitter Inc. outlined a potential subscription product that will let people charge followers for access to special content or experience. Snap and TikTok have also been experimenting with direct payments to creators of popular content.”

Facebook’s subscription program also allows creators and businesses to earn revenue via paid digital events, direct compensation from fans, and brand partnerships. In 2020, the number of content creators earning $10,000 a month from Facebook’s programs grew 88%. According to the company, during that same period, content creators pulling in $1,000 a month grew 94%.

OnePlus has officially announced earlier this week that OnePlus is going to launch its latest flagship series, the OnePlus 9 series on March 23, and well ahead of its launch, the official renders have already been leaked of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Also, rumors have been saying that there could be another smartphone in this series, probably the OnePlus 9 Lite or OnePlus 9E, or OnePlus 9R (name not confirmed). From these leaked renders, we’ve come to know the overall design, color variants of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.

In the meantime, OnePlus has also officially released a teaser promotional video of the OnePlus 9 series showing the first look at the OnePlus 9 Pro in real skin. The rear side looks exactly the same as what we’ve seen in previously leaked renders. But this time, it is official, not a render on which we can rely.

Another noticeable difference that we can find between the standard and the Pro model is that the OnePlus 9 doesn’t have antenna bands indicating that it will not have a metal frame.

ZURICH, Switzerland, March 11, 2021/ — The Swiss Federal Criminal Court (FCC) has ruled that extraordinary Federal Prosecutor Stefan Keller acted illegally by extending his investigation beyond its remit.

Mr Keller was appointed to look into certain meetings that the former Swiss Attorney General, Michael Lauber, had with the FIFA President, Gianni Infantino. However, instead of doing this, Mr Keller, who has yet to even interview the FIFA President after nine months, started looking into things that have nothing to do with his appointed mandate.

This is why the FCC ruled today that the interrogation of certain third parties by Mr Keller: “is neither within Keller’s competence as extraordinary Federal Prosecutor nor as extraordinary Prosecutor.” The FCC concluded that the interrogations in question are “null and void” and any corresponding record of them should be removed from the file.

On 10 December 2020, Mr Keller issued a media release stating that there were “clear indications of criminal conduct on the part of the FIFA President”. Now it is clear that this unfounded and defamatory statement was made on the basis of an investigative act which was itself illegal, null and void.

The FCC further states that it is the task of the supervisory authority to oversee the conduct of the office of the extraordinary Federal Prosecutor. FIFA trusts that in future it will actually do so.
