ASRock and Biostar’s Z490 motherboards will support 11th Gen Intel Rocket Lake-S CPUs

We already know a lot of 10th Gen motherboards will be supporting 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S processors. However, until and unless Intel launches its next-gen CPUs, the motherboard manufacturers will not be confirming which motherboards will officially support these new CPUs.

That doesn’t mean we will not be known, so before that official announcement, thanks to @momomo_us, we have a leaked poster that shows the motherboards will clearly support 11th Gen Intel Rocket Lake-S processors.

So, Biostar Racing Z490 motherboards will officially support Intel’s upcoming CPUs, whose mass production is expected to start next month. These 11th Gen Intel Core processors will support the same LGA1200 socket, although, in the near future, we will also see new 500-series motherboards as well.

Also, ASRock 400-series Intel motherboards will support upcoming Intel processors, leaked via a recent BIOS update from ASRock. The support seems to be wide enough on some of its premium Z490, W480, and H470 motherboards. Nevertheless, more motherboard manufacturers will be making official announcements about Intel Rocket Lake-S support in the days to come.

CD PROJEKT RED faces lawsuit due to Cyberpunk 2077

It seems that troubles won’t end for Cyberpunk 2077 anytime soon. The games being the buggy mess indicates that the gamers are not only but even the games investors are disappointed by its performance in the market.

The CD PROJEKT RED executives received news that the LA-based The Schall Law Firm and the NYC-based Rosen Law Firm filed class-action lawsuits against CD Projekt alleging that the Company misled investors it comes to the recently released game Cyberpunk 2077.

According to the Complaint, “the Company made false and misleading statements to the market. CD Projekt’s hotly-anticipated video game “Cyberpunk 2077” was practically unplayable on current-generation Xbox and PlayStation consoles due to an overwhelming number of bugs and other problems. Sony, Microsoft, and the Company were forced to offer refunds to customers who bought “Cyberpunk 2077,” resulting in Sony removing the game from its PlayStation Store.

The Company’s reputation was harmed significantly by the botched launch of “Cyberpunk 2077.” Based on these facts, the Company’s public statements were false and materially misleading throughout the class period. When the market learned the truth about CD Projekt, investors suffered damages.”

According to the lawsuit, defendants throughout the Class Period made false and misleading statements and failed to disclose that:

  1. Cyberpunk 2077 was virtually unplayable on the current-generation Xbox or Playstation systems due to many bugs.
  2. The outcome of the first failure resulted in Sony removing Cyberpunk 2077 from the Playstation Store, and Sony, Microsoft, and CD Projekt would be forced to offer full refunds for the game.
  3. CD Projekt suffered reputational and pecuniary harm.
  4. The conclusion being, defendants’ statements about their business, operations, and prospects, were materially false and misleading and lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

It looks like the developers of Cyberpunk 2077, have gotten themselves in a real tight spot. For more info, stay tuned.

On Friday, the Celtics confirmed that 12-time NBA champion as a player and a coach, two-time NCAA championship and Hall of Famer, K.C. Jones died. He was 88 years old.

According to The Associated Press, the franchise said Jones’ family confirmed that he died in an assisted living facility in Connecticut, where he had been for several years, receiving care for Alzheimer’s disease.

Jones’ legacy will always be linked to the Boston Celtics, with whom he won eleven championship titles. He won eight as a player from 1959-1966, one as an assistant coach in 1981 and two as a head coach in 1984 and 1986. Ironically, his trophy cabinet also includes one title with the Lakers as an assistant in 1972. He is the only Black coach other than Bill Russell to win numerous championships.

Jones was not much of a scorer. He was often overshadowed by flashier teammates. Instead, he was renowned for his defense – something that does not necessarily show up in box scores.

An All-American at the University of San Francisco, Jones teamed up with Bill Russell on teams that won 55 consecutive games and bagged two NCAA championships. The duo, along with another Boston legend Sam Jones, was one of the three Celtics players to be on all right of those consecutive championship squads. They were also a part of the first all-Black starting lineup in NBA history.

The Celtics retired Jones’ No. 25 jersey during his final season. He was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1989, in Springfield, Massachusetts. He averaged 7.4 points a game for nine pro seasons and ranked third in assists per game for the consecutive seasons.

The former Celtic remains one of the seven players in the league’s history to win an NBA title, NCAA title and an Olympic gold medal. Other names joining him in that list are Jerry Lucas, Magic Johnson, Russell Clyde Lovellette, Michael Jordan and Quinn Buckner.
