CES 2021 Showcase: Voice Life introduces Life-Line Power Connect with NVDLA

0

Voice Life Inc., a technology company based upon a terahertz-based scalable network designed for Far-field wireless charging, announced the launch of the Life-Line Power Connect platform on Friday at the CES 2021 Showcase. It is the next advancement in the capability to charge, maintain the use and availability of smartphones, mobile devices, wearable electronics, sensors, medical devices, IoT, drone devices, and customizable electric industrial vehicles.  The platform uses NVDLA (NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Accelerator) technology to enable quick network discovery, authentication, and to facilitate wireless energy reception.

Voice Life is collaborating with VergePAY to create a wireless charging protocol within a “smart contract” model where software neurons and connections in billions and trillions are trained in parallel.  This protocol, in combination with Deep Neural Network (DNN) algorithms, works at 99 percent accuracy on a single neural network framework that can classify and locate exactly the different types of mobile devices with lightning-quick speed. It also powers sensors and IoT device assets correctly and smoothly in real-time for both indoor and outdoor environments.

This blockchain registration process recognizes the type of device, computes the distance from the transmitter to the receiver, and points out mobile receiver battery needs prior to activating the wireless power charge. Adding Verge Currency technologies and NVDLA technology increases “the scalability to include a global database of over 3,000 Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) satellites, over 93 million cellular towers, and over 2.3 billion Wi-Fi hotspots for network positioning and object detection for the provisioning of wireless power.”

“Incorporating NVIDIA’s open-source solution, which utilizes AI and deep learning on a proven hardware architecture, combined with the Voice Life patented and Verge Currency open-source technologies with our Life-Line Power Connect platform, is critical to one day power and manage the security of potentially trillions of IoT devices,” said Robert Smith, CEO/President of Voice Life, according a CES Press Release.

KAAGAZ (2021) Zee5 Movie Review

Watch the Trailer of the KAAGAZ movie:

Kaagaz movie has very different and interesting story plots. The way Pankaj Tripathi sir and Monal Gajjar ma’am have portrayed the character which is become very realistic. The story of this movie is very different and inspirational. This movie is very touchy and inspirational. Director Satish Kaushik has returned to filmmaking after five years.

Kaagaz is a real-life story of a man named Lal Bihari Mritak, played here as Bharat Lal Mritak by the talented and most versatile actor Pankaj Tripathi. He is a man who is very kind-hearted, loveable, and belongs to a tiny village in Uttar Pradesh. He believed in slow living. There has a tiny shop, a sweet home with his lovely wife, and a small son in his life. He is pleased with them don’t to change it for anything. The entry scene where Bharat catches a mouse in his shop and chatting with it before setting it free proves him a man of pure intentions.

When Bharat’s wife, who has a small desire for a better life, asks him to expand his business by taking a bank loan, he knew about his terrible problem. He got to know that he is dead on pen and paper; his conniving aunt and her sons declared him dead to capture his property, which is legally his. The movie has begun that depicts Bharat’s decade-long, massive fight against a corrupted system and his own family and their greed. The main enemies are the village kids and idle men who continuously teased him and called him a ‘ghost.’

There are many cliches in this movie story,  the rolls of the evil aunts rolling her eyes, bad guys swirl their ‘mooch,’ the Sarkari cogs –in-the-wheel smirk, and the swings of the waist of the item girl, and many more.

Despite all of this, the film is very inspiring and watchable solely due to Pankaj Tripathi’s performance. From this movie, we should learn that self-confidence is an important key for a person, and the truth always wins. From playing the gang leader’s character in Ludo to the loveable father in Gunjan Saxena, Pankaj Tripathi has proven his talent time by time; no character left that he can’t do. As a man of simplicity, playing Bharat Lal’s role is never a big challenge to him. His acting in this movie is awesome and heart touching.

BCCI terminates contract with event partner IMG for IPL 2021

BCCI announced the termination of contracts with International Management Group (IMG) now owned by Endeavor. The UK based sports events company IMG was the event partner of IPL. They are the event manager of IPL since its inception. But BCCI has decided to move on.

A BCCI source said, “The BCCI has, over the years, gained rich experience in running the league and is well-equipped to put in place a world-class team to run the show. Right now, all we can say is that the partnership with IMG has run its course.”

“Relationships kept swinging from sweet to sour every now and then, like any professional set-up. These were qualified individuals, but every journey has to come to an end. This one has also reached its conclusion.”- he added.

According to the reports, when the deal was signed in 2008, IMG was signed on a 27 Cr annual deal. In 2009 they increased to 33 Cr. In 2010 it was again re-negotiated for 28 Cr. In the recent deal in 2017 IMG was given a hike of 40% from the previous fee. But the situation was getting worse between the two parties so BCCI decided to terminate the contract.

The board is now looking for a team of qualified executives to host the IPL 2021. The board may release some tenders for specific tasks and various vendors will be appointed for different roles.

IPL 2021 is scheduled to be started in the second week of April. It will be a tough ask for BCCI to host the league single-handedly within this short period of time.

Are Hyundai and Apple really in talks to develop a Self-driving car?

Apple is reaching out to a bunch of automakers around the globe for their next car. The news is not at all new to us as we all have been hearing about the news that Apple will launch its own car between 2025 and 2027. A recent news claim that renowned carmaker Hyundai is in talks with Apple for their upcoming project. Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor has amended the issued statement twice since the initial announcement, writes Bloomberg.

First the Korean carmaker had confirmed that Apple Inc. has requested for a potential cooperation to develop and build a self-driving car. Whereas, after a few hours Hyundai has revised the statement by removing the reference to Apple. This has sparked a matter of discussion questioning the validity of the news.

So what were we expecting from this contract? Well as per the reports, this contract was based on developing a self-driving car. The ultimate goal was to work on a self-driving car but there were no confirmation on the fuel type of the car, which means is not known whether it would have been a electric car or a normal petrol/diesel car.

Recently, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has come out and stated that mass production of the upcoming Apple car can be delayed until “2028 or later.” This delay is major because of three reasons. Firstly, uncertainty about the timing. Secondly, uncertainty about the supplier & vehicle’s specifications and lastly uncertainty about the competitiveness in the Electric vehicle market. Referring to the earlier reports, Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the market is “too bullish about Apple Car”.

According to GSMArena, “Hyundai Motor formed a $4 billion joint venture with a General Motors spin-off, Aptiv, focused on developing self-driving cars. This is just part of the $55 billion investment that will be made over the next five years on projects related to electric and autonomous vehicles. The company aims to sell 1 million electric cars by 2025.”

IPL GC gives a deadline till 21st January to the franchises for submitting the list of retained and released players

The IPL governing body earlier this week announced the deadline for player retentions and the trading window.

The IPL’s GC has decided that all the eight franchises will be allowed to submit the list for the names of their retained players by January 21, the IPL chairman, Brijesh Patel said on Thursday. Patel and members of the IPL GC recently did a virtual meeting earlier this week where they discussed the planning and preparations for the next IPL at length.

“We will have the players’ retention till January 21 and the trading window for the franchises closes on February 4,” Patel, the former India Test batsman told PTI while informing that the date of the auction is yet to be finalized.

It is highly expected that the three-time IPL winner, Chennai Super Kings might release two big names, Piyush Chawla and Kedar Jadhav on the basis of this year’s poor performance.

The Champions of IPL 2020 and 5 times IPL winner are likely to retain all their big names and may release few as to increase their purse from Rs 1.95 crore. Rajasthan Royals have the maximum purse of Rs 14.75 crore, who also might release some of their big names including Jaydev Unadkat, Sunrisers Hyderabad have Rs 10.1 crore, Delhi Capitals of Rs 9 crore, Kolkata Knight Riders of Rs 8.5 crore, and Royal Challengers Bangalore of Rs 6.4 crore.

It is expected that the mini-auction is likely to happen in the mid-week of February after the end of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which is going to start from 10th of January, and will end on 31st January so that the IPL franchises could scout talented youngsters from the domestic cricket.

All of the eight teams in the tournament enjoy a players’ purse of Rs 85 crore and Patel said that there will be “no increase of purse” for the 2021 auction.

It is also that the IPL GC will still have to wait for some more time before finalizing their venue country to host IPL, whether to host the tournament in India or somewhere else depending upon the situation of the pandemic.

“The BCCI will wait for a month to see how the COVID-19 situation is in India before finalising the schedule. Everyone wants it to be held in India but we still need to wait for some more time before taking a call,” a BCCI source said.
