At the end of Indian innings Virat Kohli also made 22 runs which took India past victory.
Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav took 5 wickets. Umesh Yadav took 2 wickets & took the important wicket of Jason Roy. Hardik took 1 wicket.
This World Cup has been the most unpredictable World Cup so far in the history
The teams which are less stronger on paper proved to be much more stronger on the field. It has been the World Cup of upsets. The gap between lesser known teams and the teams with great legacy has decreased noticeably. The results can’t be predetermined from before. For some, this has has been a heartbreaking World Cup. But for the football lovers this is the oppurtunity to witness history in the making. As the lesser known teams are moving forward towards glory.
Italy and Netherlands faced the 1st upset of the tournament.
Both of the teams of such great history and legacy, failed to reach the main stage of the tournament. Buffon’s dream of playing his last World Cup was shattered into pieces. Robben’s dreams was also paralysed half way as they didn’t qualify.
The upsets of the Group Stage
Iceland handed Messi and his team a nightmare start to this tournament. They successfully managed to keep Messi at bay and even saved his penalty. The final score was 1-1. But still Argentina managed to reach the round of 16.
Brazil also had the same fate as they drew 1-1 with Switzerland but progressed into the next round.
The shock of the tournament came when Germany failed to reach beyond the group stage for the 1st time in recent years. Mexico beat the Germans 1-0 in the 1st match. Then the Swedish almost had the Germans packing their bag. But a 95th min Kroos freekick kept their hopes alive.
But the Koreans proved the world that the Asian countries aren’t much behind. They defeated Germany 2-0 and handed the reigning champions a shock exit.
The upsets of the Round of 16
Kylian Mbappe scored 2 goals against Argentina and denied Messi to have his hand on the World Cup trophy. France beat Argentina 4-3. Argentinian hopes were shattered. Messi have to wait another 4 years to have a try of landing a World Cup trophy.
For detailed information of that France vs Argentina match, click here.
Uruguay’s Edison Cavani single handedly won the game against Portugal by scoring two marvellous goals. Ronaldo like his compariot Messi was handed elimination from the World Cup.
The whole world mourned for both of them. The best players of this generation was unable to win a World Cup for their nation.
The hosts Russia proved that they are no less than the footballing powerhouse Spain. Russia won 4-3 on penalties. Spain was one of the favourites for this World Cup. But once again their tiki-taka proved ineffective as their World Cup run ended prematurely.
Denmark’s Kasper Schmeichel saved Modric’s penalty in extra time and almost won the match for Denmark. But Subasic has other things in his mind as he saved 3 shots in the penalty shootout. And Croatia won 3-2 on penalties.
Japan was on the verge of making history by qualifying for the play offs. Kagawa, Inui and their teammates played exceptionally well and took a 2-0 lead after the half time. But the Belgium substitutes Fellaini and Chadli inspired Belgium’s comeback and proved why they are the no. 3 ranked team and one of the favourites for the World Cup.
But Japan made the whole of Asia proud. They fought like the Blue Samurais.
Author’s Take
This World Cup is so unpredictable that it is almost useless to have a World Cup favourite in your head in advance. Russia as a host nation would look to reach the semi finals atleast. For Belgium, France and Brazil this is a golden oppurtunity to win the World Cup as their are lesser number of so called big teams in the quarter finals, compared to previous World Cups. But Croatia can be this year’s darkhorse. It is the last chance for their golden generation of midfield maestroes Modric and Rakitic to win a World Cup for their country.
Samsung Galaxy J8 has dual camera and infinite display within this price range.
You were wondering that why Samsung isn’t being such a huge brand giving dual camera setup in its mid-range smartphones. But your wait is over because Samsung Galaxy J8 is here with dual camera setup, face unlock and much more at the price Rs.18,990 in Indian market. Have a look at the latest launched Galaxy J6.

Samsung is a tech brand which makes almost every kinds of tech products from smartphones to televisions, etc. Samsung is a well-known brand all over the world which gives a tough competition with the iPhones.
Specifications:
Display
6.0 inches Super AMOLED
Primary Camera
16 MP (f/1.7, AF) + 5 MP (f/1.9, no AF, depth sensor)
Now without any delay let’s check out the details of this smartphone.
Screen/Display and Built:
Samsung Galaxy J8 comes in a huge 6 inch Super AMOLED display with the aspect ratio of 18.5:9 which is pretty much wide and huge. Samsung has always been producing best displays. The colour production of the display is eye catching and the Super AMOLED display helps to see the screen clearly in sunlight.
The built quality of Galaxy J8 is not so good. The device is plastic at the back and the front display glass is of Corning Gorilla Glass (the exact version is not known). At the back there are the cameras, LED flash and the physical finger print sensor. At the bottom it has the micro USB port, at the right there is the power button and loud speaker, the left side is a busy side with the volume rocker buttons and the SIM and memory card slots. Still if Samsung could give a metallic finish to the J8 then the phone could have looked more gorgeous.
Cameras:
Samsung Galaxy J8 has noticeable camera combinations on either side of the device. It comes with 16 MP (f/1.7, AF) + 5 MP (f/1.9, no AF, depth sensor) at the back and 16 MP (f/1.9) at the front with front flash. The camera quality of this device is as good as other devices of Galaxy. Samsung always produces better cameras in its devices and the picture qualities are always eye catching.
Processor and Storage:
Samsung Galaxy J8 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 which is not so good for a smartphone nowadays. The price at which this device is sold, in this price Snapdragon 450 is not expected.
This device packs in 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM which can be expanded up to 256 GB with the help of a dedicated memory card slot. This is a good thing that Samsung always maintains. Expandable memory is always needed as because of some emergency and personal purposes.
Operating System and Battery:
Samsung Galaxy J8 comes with Android 8.0 (Oreo) and the battery is of 3500 mAh. Here the best part is the battery which is at least 3500 mAh, because for such a huge screen such huge battery is always needed. Whereas this device could had Android 8.1 but still this version will work.
Samsung Galaxy J8 is over all a great device at this price range. It is a mid-range smartphone. The cameras are very good and with dual cameras it becomes great. Even it got a front flash where u can adjust the intensity of the flash according to need or keep it in auto. The processor should have been of Snapdragon’s 600 series but J8 got only Snapdragon 450 which may be a con for this device. The battery is good in this device, for larger screen and Super AMOLED display a huge battery is required which is present in this device. So over all according to its price this device is up to the mark.

Honor 9N is the smartphone you were looking for within your budget.
Most of the users nowadays are in love with the notch display except few. But in the present day market notch display comes under a huge budget those are the flagship or the upper mid-range smartphones. So in order to fill this gap on 6th June this year, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched Honor 9i‘s 2018 version which will be launched in India with the name Honor 9N at 24th July exclusively on Flipkart. So be ready to witness something new form this device. Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) looks almost the same as Nokia X6 from the front except Honor is written in its chin whereas Nokia has its own. The price of the 64GB version is CNY 1,399 and CNY 1,699 for the 128GB version.
See the Honest Review of Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) below.
Honor is a well-known brand which is originally a sub-brand of Huawei. Honor has launched so many amazing smartphones in the recent years that it’s nearly impossible to overlook this brand.
Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) has a 5.84 inch FHD+ IPS display with a little notch. The widescreen having 79.5% screen-to-body ratio gives enhancement to the view.
The built quality is quite good in Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant). It has glass built on its both sides. The cameras at the back are vertically aligned with a flash. At the front,t it has a notch at the top where the secondary camera and sensors and earpiece is located. At the bottom,m there is a speaker, micro USB port, mic and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Colours available are Dream Purple , Bi Yuqing , Magic night black , Charm Blue.
Cameras:
Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) comes with 13MP + 2MP primary cameras. The secondary camera is of 16MP, where both the cameras are loaded with AI features. Being a budget oriented smartphone Honor 9x do not have much of mega-pixels in its primary camera but still the cameras can be up to the mark.
Processor and Storage:
Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) has got its own operating system HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset which is well comparable to Snapdragon 600 series. This chip-set is nothing that can be ignored. But in the present Honor is competing well against the other smartphones in the market. The GPU Turbo technology that Honor has recently developed helps in a better gaming experience.
Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) is offering 4GB of RAM and the internal storage of this device has two options of 64GB and 128GB. There is no option for expanding its internal memory which is pretty much disappointing in this case, still, those huge memories are more than enough.
Operating System and Battery:
Like Xiaomi,Honor also has its own operating system. Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) is using its own operating system which is EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) is powered with a 3000 mAh battery. With respect to the spec,s the battery is not that much how everyone has expected. Stil,l Honor claims it will give a 32 hours of stand-by time, which is pretty much satisfying.
Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) is recently launched so there the review will be short and will based on the previous devices of Honor and 9N’s specifications.
Review:
At the very first we can notice its camera features mainly regarding the megapixels. In this price range, other smartphone brands are providing good quality and better cameras especially the primary one. Whereas 13MP + 2MP is not up to the mark for this smartphone. But the secondary camera is of 16MP which is very good. The battery is another issue of this device. 3000 mAh battery is not very much nowadays, which can be a problem for the users. The screen size is not very large which might be helpful for those users who prefer handy and lightweight (152 gram) devices. But the bezels are not so this including the chin which has the brand name in it.
But overall except these cons the Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) is going to bring a hard competition for the budget-oriented smartphones in the market.
Let us know how much you liked the Honor 9x or Honor 9N (global variant) in the comment section below.

Argentina is done with respect at the 2018 World Cup, and France is moving on. The Europeans earned their first ever victory over the South Americans at a event like the World Cup, beating Lionel Messi and his company 4-3 after trailing 2-1 early in the second half. Against a weak and the oldest squad in the world cup France used its speed and fine finishing for their best attacking display at the cup to the Argentine’s defense, knocking the two-time champs.
Javier Mascherano has officially announced his retirement from international football. “It’s time to say goodbye”, said the 32 years old ex Barcelona star following Argentina’s 4-3 defeat to France.
Mascherano made his international debut for La Albiceleste in 2003 and played 146 games in under 15 years. Making him the highest appearance in the Argentine squad. He said “We gave everything until the end but it wasn’t enough for them to win the match”.
Though Argentina took a 2-1 lead in the second half, it wasn’t going to be enough with an weak defense, as the French team scored three quick goals one by one to put it away. Kylian Mbappe stole the show with two great goals while also winning a penalty kick on the 13 minutes and Antoine Griezmann scored.
But the Argentine responded with a screamer just before the break with a great goal outside the box from Angel Di Maria.
The Argentinian unleashes a rocket from outside of the box to pull them level just before the half. Gabriel Mercado then finished with an un-intentional touch to a shot from Messi to take a surprising 2-1 lead just minutes into the second half.
Then it all went downhill for the Argentine squad. First another screamer from Benjamin Pavard outside the box which nobody expected from a defender who just turned into a midfielder just before this World Cup. Pavard to Di Maria: Anything you can do I can do better!!!
Then seven minutes after that, Mbappe got his first with a nice little finish. He collects the loose ball in the box and fires it into the net to make it 3-2 for . And four minutes later on the counter, the 19-year-old gets his second of the game to put France up 4-2.
And that ends Argentina’s World Cup in a peaceful way, by getting destroyed in defense and making mistakes. The win moves France into the quarterfinals, where they’ll face either Portugal or Uruguay in the next stage of the knock out.
After winning the first match of the 2 t20 match series, India started experimenting their bench strength. While Dinesh Karthik & Lokesh Rahul were given chances, M S Dhoni was spotted as a waterboy.
Lokesh Rahul fully utilized his chance as a opener and gave India a good start. He smacked the Irish bowling to all parts of the ground. He scored 70 of 36 balls with 6 sixes & 3 fours. After the quick dismissal of Indian skipper Suresh Raina made a good partnership of 106 runs from only 57 balls. He made 69 runs. At the ende of Indian innings Hardik Pandya struck 4 sixes & a boundary, which took India to a massive total of 213 runs.
Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets. Siddarth was the most economic bowler with an economy of 2.He gave only 4 runs in 2 overs. Chahal took 3 & Umesh took 2 wickets. Hardik & Siddarth took 1 each.
There was no Irish batsmen who could cross the score of 20. Ireland was of no match to India.
After any kind of disaster the rescue operation is the first priority. This is very hard job to find out victims consuming less time in maximum cases. An extra second of time can cause of many deaths. To make this job a little bit easy and quicker for the Rescue teams National Aeronautics and Space Administration developed a Victim Finding tool called FINDER.
FINDER stands for The Finding Individuals for Disaster and Emergency Response.
FINDER sends low power microwave frequencies through the rubble. It looks for miner signals caused by the motion of victim’s breathing and heart beat.
👇 Features of FINDER are…..
Portable : Portability is the major priority of this kind devices. This one is not exception. This is only around 9 kgs of weight and just like a travel bag in shape.
Efficiency : It can detect the small signals through around 30 feet of ruins or around 20 feet of concrete.
Range : It can scan a major scale of area at a time by staying a safe distance from the disaster effected location.
Speed : For scanning all most the whole area it took around a minute only.
Easy to use : It is operated by a small touch screen remote control.
This invention was successfully tested in many disaster locations [ like Nepal Earthquake Disaster 25th April,15] for rescue operation. Uncountable number of lifes are saved with the help of this.

2014 World Champions GERMANY is eliminated in the group stages of the 2018 FIFA World Cup !!
Germany are the fourth defending champions to be eliminated from the group stage at the World Cup in the last five tournaments (also France 2002, Italy 2010, Spain 2014). It seems that it a curse of the Champions. Repeatedly every World Cup winner in recent years have failed to progress beyond the group stage.
What went wrong for Germany?
Germans are the third successive World Cup champions to fall at the first hurdle in their title defence. A dramatic and shocking 2-0 defeat in Kazan proving the deserved death knell. Their loss to Mexico was due to lack of cohesion between defence and midfield when coming up against counter-attacks. But there is little excuse for failing to even score against a Korea side who came into the game without a point.
Low shuffled his pack in Kazan, making five alterations to the team which just about scraped past Sweden. Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira, Mats Hummels, Niklas Sule and Leon Goretzka made the starting XI.
Ozil was dropped due to his performance against Mexico. But Low was annoyed by a lack of creativity on show in the clash with Sweden. But even with Ozil’s restoration, Germany looked sapped of craft and ingenuity in the final third. Ozil appeared their best route to goal in the first half. His silken touches, clever turns and intricate line-splitting passes exhibited on several occasions. But around him Germany offered precious little. Marco Reus drifted ineffectively. Goretzka struggled out wide and was sloppy in the middle. While Khedira again looked hapless in the final third.
On top of that, Joshua Kimmich endured a difficult time when pushing forward from right-back. His crosses invariably going straight out of play or too far to find a team-mate.
There were a couple of instances of promise early in the second period. Goretzka and Timo Werner going close following good deliveries from Ozil and Kimmich. But it was hardly the start of an imperious onslaught. Germany still needed more, their combination of slow movement and laborious thinking in the final third causing their chances of avoiding embarrassment to diminish by the minute.
The amounting pressure at the end minutes because of Sweden winning the other match.
With Sweden unexpectedly cruising against Mexico, Germany’s forays forward became more and more desperate to score. While Son Heung-min led a spirited counter for a Korea side really starting to threaten on the break. When you play with less urgency than a side that considers its own chances to be minimal, you know you have a problem. Structural issues have blighted Germany’s campaign and Korea’s late surges again showed them to be tearing at the seams. Shin’s men took full advantage – Kim Young-gwon scoring from close range in the second minute of stoppage time, before Son rounded things off with Manuel Neuer caught up the pitch.
Man of the match
Jo Hyeonwoo, the South Korean goalkeeper was superb, and made a number of key saves to dash German hopes.
The post-match data made for miserable reading for fans on Die Mannschaft – Germany. Here we take a look at the Opta facts that Low will be keen to avoid
Germany are the fourth defending champions to be eliminated from the group stage at the World Cup in the last five tournaments (also France 2002, Italy 2010, Spain 2014).
This is only the second time that Germany have been eliminated from the first round at the World Cup. The last was in 1938. However, this is the first time it has happened when the first round has been in a group stage format.
Germany’s tally of two goals scored at this World Cup is the second fewest managed by a defending champion in the competition, only ahead of France’s zero in 2002.
This was Germany’s first defeat against an Asian nation in a World Cup match in what was their sixth such match.
Germany have failed to score in two of their three World Cup games in 2018, as many as their previous 15 World Cup matches combined.
This was South Korea’s first clean sheet at the World Cup since a 2-0 win over Greece in 2010; they had gone eight without a shutout before this match.
South Korea beat Germany in a World Cup match for the first time, having lost each of the previous two meetings in the competition.
Son Heung-min’s goal for South Korea (95:52) was the latest goal Germany have ever conceded in a World Cup match (excluding extra-time).
Since the 2010 edition, Germany have lost both of their World Cup matches in which Thomas Muller has not started (also lost 0-1 to Spain in the 2010 semi-final), compared to 80 per cent when he has started (12 wins in 15 games).
Author’s take
This is the worst German defence that we have seen in recent years. The players lacked the hunger for goals and winning matches. They lacked dynamism. There was no creativity among the players execpt a few. But from a team like Germany we don’t except few creativites. We are used to seeing perfect passing and attacking football from the Germans. But this time they lacked that. They had more possession in all the three games. But possession don’t win you games unless you use the possession to score goals. They lacked a good striker like Klose, their all time leading goalscorer. There was no notable movement in the final third. The Germans were out of idea. The retirement of big names and great leaders like Lahm and Schweinsteiger were felt. Their boots seemed to be irreplacable in this World Cup.
But there is nothing to worry. The Germans are famous for their NEVER SAY DIE attitude. So we can be sure of a great comeback from them.
DIE MANNSCHAFT !!

Luis Suarez wants to rewrite history for Uruguay. After his goal in the 3-0 win over Russia helped Oscar Tabarez’s side to a third successive group-stage win at a World Cup for the first time in the tournament’s current format. Suarez is pleased with his personal achievements. But his priority is to ensure Uruguay set new records.
“It’s what we wanted, to keep going throughout the World Cup,” he said. “Records are there to be broken. Personally, I am very pleased to move forward and reach my goals with the team and continue making history. “After winning two matches 1-0, the best thing to do today was having done even better. I am happy we won and finish top of the group and make history again, because this is the first time Uruguay have won three (group) matches in a row in a World Cup and were top of the group. All of this is history.”
Salah apologises to fans
Egypt star Mohamed Salah has apologised to fans. After seeing his nation eliminated from the World Cup without a single point.
Salah went into the Russia finals with doubts over his fitness after injuring his shoulder in a clash with Sergio Ramos during Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid in May. The Liverpool forward missed out on a narrow opening defeat to Uruguay. He scored a penalty in his World Cup debut as Egypt lost out to Russia in a 1-3 reverse.
The Africans’ misery continued in Group A’s dead rubber on Monday. Salah’s early goal overturned by Saudi Arabia to seal a record of three losses in as many games. The Liverpool forward wasted a golden opportunity to double the lead. It gave Saudi Arabia the chance to claw their way back into the game. Saudi Arabia won by a 95th-minute winner by midfielder Salem Al-Dawsari. The win was Saudis first World Cup victory since 1994.
The latest defeat led to angry scenes in the Egypt dressing room after full time
An irritated Salah alleged to have been the first to board the team bus. But Salah has vowed to return to international football’s biggest stage. As he begged disappointed Egypt fans for forgiveness.
“We want to apologise to all the Egyptian fans who came to support us here in the three matches, I know it is difficult for them, like us,” the 26year-old stated.
“I just want to say that Egypt reached the World Cup after 28 years, some players here do not have the required experience. Thanks to all of them and we will back again in 2022.” This World Cup marked the first time that the Pharoahs had reached the finals since 1990. It marked their first appearance since the second tournament back in 1934. Egypt are still waiting for their maiden win at the finals. They have drawn two and lost five of their World Cup games to date.
Coach Hector Cuper denied the rumours. The rumours suggested that Salah would leave the Egypt national team after the 1-2 defeat to Arab rivals Saudi Arabia. Cuper didn’t comment on why his star player hadn’t turned up to the scheduled press conference.
Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary had marked his record-breaking appearance as the oldest player to play at a World Cup at 45 years of age with a spectacular save from a penalty..
