Manchester City news roundup: Foden, Aguero, Zakaria transfer and more

Juventus director Fabio Paratici was trying to sign Manchester City’s Phil Foden, as reported by Fabrizio Romano on the Here We Go podcast. They, as the events since then have revealed, got rejected and Manchester City extended Foden’s contract and said he’s 100% sure to be staying. 

Foden is a big part of the Manchester City squad and he is surely not leaving for any other club. Pep Guardiola rates the young Englishman very highly and went as far as to say that he is the most talented youngster he has ever seen. Moreover, the Catalonian claimed that not even €500 million will be enough to prize him away from the Etihad.  

Coming to the players who could come in, Manchester City will be in the market for a striker in the summer, and the situation will depend upon Sergio Aguero’s contract, but there is no agreement with him yet. The Argentinian is the most decorated striker in the club’s history and is in the last months of his current contract. 

They are planning to move for a reliable midfielder as well. Denis Zakaria from Borussia Monchengladbach is a target, however nothing concrete has taken place yet. 

City also want to go for a quality left-back, according to Romano. However, at the moment, they do not have a name on the list yet. 

Elsewhere at the club, they are still working with De Bruyne and Sterling to extend their respective contracts at the club. Manchester City looks like a club that is going places. They are comfortably at the top of the Premier League table, and have a realistic chance at winning the Champions League too.

FC Bayern Munich becomes the second team in history to win the Sextuple. Pep Guardiola’s FC Barcelona did the same in 2009.

Last night, FC Bayern Munich won the last and sixth trophy of the 2019-20 season. The German giants won FIFA Club World Cup beating Tigres UANL by 1-0 in the final. The 59th-minute Benjamin Pavard goal earned dominant FC Bayern Munich a 1-0 victory over Tigres UANL in the final to complete the missing piece of the Sextuple.

FC Bayern Munich started the game pretty well. They were dominant from the start. Joshua Kimmich smashed an outside-of-the-boot shot from a distance into the bottom corner. But after checking VAR, it was determined Robert Lewandowski, who had interfered with play in Nahuel Guzman’s line of vision, was offside and the goal was disallowed.

FC Bayern Munich made the breakthrough just before the hour mark. Robert Lewandowski made a vital role in the goal and made up his earlier mistake.

After completing the Sextuple, Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick said, “Congratulations to my team. They have completed a historical feat, they have won six titles in one season.”

Here, DLSS 2.0 solved both the problems. The AI is now trained generically, whereas the quality has greatly improved. The credit goes to the new multi-frame super-resolution approach where DLSS 2.0 collects data from multiple frames, similar to the Temporal Antialiasing (TAA).

Since the release of DLSS version 2.0, the game developers have shown their increasing support for it. In recent months, many popular games like Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Death Stranding, War Thunder, Minecraft RTX, Ready or Not, Moonlight Blade, CRSED: F.O.A.D., The Medium, Scavengers, and Ghostrunner have used it.

At CES this year, LG Electronics launched the much-awaited 2021 models of the LG Gram lineup and diversified its lineup with different sizes of laptops for different needs. All of these new laptops come with new designs and productivity-boosting 16:10 aspect ratio screens.

The entire LG Gram 2021 models come with latest 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processors, verified to be Intel EVO platform complaint and featuring Intel Xe graphics for productivity. It has been informed that Lucasfilm has fired Gina Carano from her job on The Mandalorian. It is assumed that it has happened due to the posting of the action star on social media about the U.S.’s political climate that has many similarities to Nazi Germany’s treatment of Jews. The company recently said that the comments were abhorrent.

In a wildly distributed statement, the spokesperson of Lucasfilm has said that Gina Carano was not employed recently by Lucasfilm and they had no plans for her in the near future. From the post on her social media, people find that their religious and cultural identities were unacceptable and also abhorrent.

The United Talent Agency also was dropped Carano that was representing her. All this thing was started from Carano’s Instagram account where she has shared an image of a woman being chased along the streets. Xiaomi Mi 11 was launched globally around Europe a few weeks back and it became the first device in the world to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile processor. It was expected that the Chinese tech company will bring more upgrades to Mi 11 in the form of Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra. 

Surprisingly, Mi 11 Ultra has been revealed by a Filipino YouTuber. The video is now deleted but thanks to social media, the details, and photos of the upcoming mega smartphone are already spread around. The YouTuber has shared two colour variants of Mi 11 Ultra; Black and White. The first thing you can witness on the smartphone is its huge camera bump on the backside the smartphone. 

It is expected that the camera comes in a triple camera system with a periscope zoom lens. The back panel includes a ‘120X Ultra Pixel AI Camera’, a triple LED flash, and a wonder secondary screen. This screen displays all the applications present on the phone. This is a new technology and we cannot tell a definite benefit of this display.

But we infer that this app will help the users to click a selfie with rear cameras. How amazing is that? Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is expected to showcase a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a strong 120 Hz refresh rate. In terms of optics at the front, we can expect a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera system offers a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. 

Just like Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra will also be powered by Snapdragon 888. It runs on MIUI 12.5 global build. The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery and is paired with 67W fast wired charging and 10W reverse charging. Another thing to notice in this leak is that the smartphone comes with Harman Kardon dual speakers and an in-screen fingerprint reader.
