Dingko Singh, the former Indian boxer and Asian Games gold medalist, died on Thursday after a protracted illness at 42. The Manipuri won a gold medal at the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok and is widely regarded as one of India’s best boxers.
Dingko’s life path and struggle, according to India’s professional boxing legend Vijender Singh, would always be a source of inspiration for future generations. Dingko was born in 1979 to a poor family in a rural area called Sekta in Manipur’s Imphal district. Being raised in an orphanage, he had to overcome adversity from the beginning of his childhood. He worked hard to become a member of the Indian Navy’s service.
His hidden capabilities were discovered by trainers in a Special Area Games Scheme organised by the Sports Authority of India. Major O.P. Bhatia, who later became the Executive Director of the Sports Authority of India’s Teams Wing, was his coach. His talent, hard work, and training paid off when he won the Sub Junior National Boxing Championship at the age of ten in Ambala, India, in 1989. Dingko’s success drew the attention of selectors and trainers, who began to regard him as a prospective Indian boxing star.
In 1997, he made his international boxing debut and won the King’s Cup, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Dingko Singh was named the best boxer of the meet in addition to winning the championship.

Vivo has launched its Vivo Y73 smartphone in India. It is a mid-range 4G compatible smartphone from Vivo. So, without wasting much time, let’s get into the pricing and specifications of the newly launched smartphone from Vivo.

Yesterday Realme’s India and Europe CEO Madhav Seth had shared the first glimpse of the first Laptop that is going to be launched pretty soon. The laptop is indeed named Realme Book similar to the name of the Apple MacBook. Android Authority has obtained images of a prototype of the Realme Book laptop. The surroundings from where the images have been captured seem like a stage of any launch event. The Realme Book might also launch alongside the Realme GT on 15th June on the global platform.
The leaked image of the Realme Book shows an aluminum body design. From the images, it seems that Realme has knowingly or unknowingly tried to copy both the name and design of the Apple MacBook laptops. The design of the Realme Book laptop from the outer sides seems similar to the Apple MacBook. Even the air vents at the bottom of the Realme Book seems somewhat similar to the Apple MacBook Pro.
Now coming to the display of the Realme Book. The Realme Book will have a 3:2 display aspect ratio inspired by MacBook. It seems that the company is trying to make the aspect ratio of this laptop a key selling point of the products.
Other than these confirmed information, we only know that the Realme Book will be a Windows laptop only because of the company’s pricing history. Realme might also include Type-C ports which is very likely and looking at the slim design of the laptop this might also be the actual case.
Apart from all these, we are currently unable to provide any other information about this upcoming Realme Book, neither we can say the exact launch date. But of course we can expect that Realme will announce it on 15th June alongside the Realme GT and another new product named Realme Pad.
Upon conducting a survey among HP device users 92% of the respondents stated that they see gaming as a relaxing experience helping them blow off steam and relieving work/study pressure alongside with an immediate effect of stress reduction and developing positive feelings.
While there has been a three-fold increase in the number of users in the past 10 years, the percentage of users viewing gaming as an emerging career option also have increased to a massive 92%.
HP had conducted a survey among 1500 of its users in the majority of the consumers were the youth falling in the range of age 15 to 40 years old in the months of March and April this year across cities all over India.
Further dividing the audience on a gender basis; 72% of the consumers were male while 28% of the consumers were female. Regardless of the divisions all the audience collectively were active mobile and PC users.
Results of the aforementioned survey showed that 84% of the female audience wanted a future in the gaming industry while 80% of the male users felt like gaming was a viable career choice.
With so many gaming and esports competition competition being held every year and the emergence of live gaming streams across social media platforms have encouraged the growth in the percentage of the population wanting to pursue gaming as a career option.
Reports showed 89% of the users prefer PC gaming over mobile gaming while 37% of the mobile gamers wished to switch to PC gaming in search of better qualities and further control in the games.
Ketan Patel, MD of HP India Marketing stated on the matter “In this scenario, the PC has emerged as the preferred device that provides the most comprehensive gaming experience. The shift from mobiles to PCs by gamers clearly represents a massive business opportunity for us.”

CAPE TOWN, South Africa, June 9, 2021/ — On the sidelines of the Rugby Africa Cup repechage held in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon triumphed, on the morning of 9th, 2021 at the August 4 stadium, against the Stallions of Burkina Faso by the score of 37 to 0.
Scheduled for 08:00AM GMT, the women’s test match between Burkina Faso and Cameroon kicked off at 09:00AM GMT due to the rain that soaked the pitch. In the first half, the Cameroonian team showed endurance and mastery of the oval ball. After No. 08 Prisco Rosine N’Dingo opened the scoring in the second minute, the Lionesses scored three unconverted tries bringing the score to 15 in their favor. In the 26th minute, Prisco Rosine N’Dingo received a yellow card for a high tackle.
After the 10-minute half-time of this 60-minute competition, Cameroon scored four tries including a single conversion. Tis added 22 points in the second half and brought the total to 37. Burkina Faso could not score any points in this test match.
Velhyr Dabiré, coach of the Burkina Faso women’s team, admitted that the opposing team were technically up to the task and have international experience. Her colt and team captain, Yvette Sawadogo, remains confident in all sportiness for a victory in the second leg. Cameroonian coach Jacques NGomsu Tchon Lahui said the score could have been higher if the Burkina Faso team were not so strong. For captain Gertrude Prombove, the opponent gave them a hard time.
This is the first match since Cameroon returned to African and international rugby bodies after almost a decade of absence. This women’s competition is part of Rugby Africa’s plan to develop 15-way competitions in the period 2021-2025.
