UEFA: 8 Major Clubs Fined for financial irregularities | 19 Others Under Surveillance

Multiple teams in Europe broke the agreed-upon Financial Fair Play rules, according to a press statement from UEFA on Friday.

UEFA Sanctioned 8 Clubs

The Club Financial Control Body discovered eight clubs that did achieve the break-even threshold, according to the statement. These include Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique de Marseille, Milan, Monaco, Roma, Beşiktaş, Inter, and Juventus. Following that, the clubs received sanctions, with PSG getting the biggest fine (€65 million), later lowered to €10 million.

Unfortunately, clubs were subject to emergency Covid measures in 2020 and 2021, when spectators were mostly barred from stadiums and TV arrangements were altered. UEFA’s investigation covered the financial years 2018 to 2022. Clubs received exemptions as a result during this time.

All of the clubs taking part in the UEFA championships in 2021–22 had their financial operations reviewed by the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB). The researchers concluded that the English clubs and Rangers met the requirements for compliance because they were technically able to fulfill the break-even necessity thanks to the implementation of the COVID-19 emergency measures and/or because they gained from chronological positive break-even results.

As per the sources, it was declared that even though 19 additional clubs “technically” met the break-even threshold, their financial standing will be “monitored” going forward. These include, among others, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Borussia Dortmund.

Other Clubs Under Surveillance

Due to “extraordinary COVID deductions and analysis of prior financial outcomes,” Chelsea, Leicester, Man City, and West Ham have escaped punishment under the UEFA financial fair play rules. These exemptions do not apply this season, though, and the clubs have been warned that they would be “closely scrutinized in the future time.”

Even harsher than those in the English top division are UEFA’s FFP rules. The permissible losses, or “acceptable deviation,” as the accountants call them, are slightly over £50 million (or 60 million euros) as of this summer, compared to £105 million in the Premier League. Although the inspection didn’t result in any punishment for Premier League clubs, it did have an effect, especially on Leicester City.

Now, as of today on 3rd September officially 5 lakh e-2 wheelers have been registered and subsidised by the Indian government that offers incentives up to Rs. 15,000/KWh or 40% cost of vehicles.

Speaking with PCGamer, Intel disclosed that their Arc GPUs will be very competitively priced and even have superior ray tracing performance than the competition. The company has also disclosed its goals for the Arc GPUs that will follow Alchemist and its dedication to the roadmap.

He went down with Ryan Shrout and Tom Peterson, Intel’s marketing experts, who shared some juicy details about their Arc GPUs. There is a lot to discuss, but to summarise, we learn a little bit about Intel’s RTU (Ray Tracing Unit) and its performance, how much Intel Arc GPUs would cost, and where Arc is headed in the future.

Once more, it appears that Intel has AMD in its sights more so than NVIDIA

Speaking of their pricing strategy, Intel stated that the Arc GPUs will be priced quite reasonably compared to their competitors. In 50 game benchmarks, the business has already demonstrated the Arc A750 graphics card, which performs on average 5% quicker than the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060.

Intel reiterates that DX12 and Vulkan performance will be unbeatable, while DX11 and older games will either play well or poorly. Additionally, Microsoft is adding historical DX9 functionality through the D3D9on12 wrapper API at Intel’s request.

YuuKi AnS has leaked the complete specifications for AMD’s EPYC 9004 Genoa-X and Bergamo CPUs, which include the newest Zen 4 V-Cache and Zen 4C cores. The conventional Zen 4 parts’ specifications were previously shared by the leaker, and now we can see what the specialist Zen 4 families have to offer.

There will be three families in the AMD Zen 4 lineup: the regular Zen 4 for EPYC Genoa, the compute density-optimized Zen 4C for EPYC Bergamo, and the cache-optimized Zen 4 V-Cache for the EPYC Genoa-X series. Additionally, the portfolio will include an affordable entry-level server option called EPYC Siena that will have the same Zen 4 cores as SP5, but on a brand-new platform called SP6 that will again place a greater emphasis on TCO optimization. The EPYC 8004 family will serve as the brand name for the lineup.

Regarding the leak, YuuKi AnS was the first to publish the details on AMD’s whole EPYC 9004 Genoa family, and now he has also published the information on the Zen 4C- and Zen 4 V-Cache-powered EPYC Bergamo and EPYC Genoa-X processors. The leaker has specified two chips, the EPYC 9734 and the EPYC 9754, as the first EPYC Bergamo components.

The AMD chips have a total of 256 MB cache and offer 112/224 & 128/256 cores & threads, respectively (L3).

The TDPs have been rated at 340W for the 112 Core and 360W for the 128 core SKU, while the CPU clock speeds are between 2.0 and 2.15 GHz. Each CPU will have 8 Zen 4C CCDs, with 16 cores per CCD. The CPUs come with 32 MB of L3 cache per CCD or 256 MB of cache overall.

Moving on, the leaker has provided four CPU models for the AMD EPYC Genoa-X SKUs. The EPYC 9684X, which has 96 cores and 192 threads with a TDP of 400W, is at the top of the list. Next up are the EPYC 9384X, which has 32 cores and 64 threads and is rated at 320W, the EPYC 9284X, which has 24 cores and 48 threads and is also rated at 320W, and the EPYC 9184X, which has 16 cores and 32 threads.

These four variations will have L3 cache configurations of 1152 MB for the 96 core, 384 MB for the 32 core, 256 MB for the 24 core, and 192 MB for the 16 core. Although the Genoa-X parts lack clock speed information, the leaker has provided a list of each SKU’s product positioning, making it simpler for us to comprehend the chip’s primary market.

Netflix has released the latest NSFW trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners with the streaming service’s upcoming anime show that has acclaimed Studio Trigger. Netflix spin-off and also for the adaptation of the popular sci-fi video game Cyberpunk 2077. At last, Netflix confirms that Cyberpunk: Edgerunner4s has set to come on Netflix in September 2022. 

This is mainly a popular upcoming Netflix Original anime series and also the spin-off of the CD Projekte Rd Video game Cyberpunk 2077. The story of this series has been written by Yoshiki Usa and Masahiko Otsuka, both of whom have worked jointly on Star Wars: Visions, Little Witch Academia, and SSSS.Dynazenon. 

This anime has been produced at Studio Trigger, it is the same studio behind the anime fan-favorite Kill La Kill. It is directing duties that also have been a break in between Hiroyuki Imashi and Hiromi Wakabayashi.

The new trailer starts with two of the lead characters David, and Lucas discussing the dream David is offering just before showing him something. After a massive cut down from Lucy, the trailer continues into the montage of such different parts of Night City that unveils murders, sex, and high-octane action commonplace in both the dystopian future and Studio Trigger’s last work. After the violent process of Cyberware, that’s implanted before we have headed the line, “You either lose your mind or die, no in between.”  At the end of the trailer we have to listen to, “you don’t make your name as a Cyberpunk by how you live. You are remembered by how you die.”

It’s very strange that the project is taking such an extensive amount of time we have not gotten any such updates regarding the cast members of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. 

We are still waiting to know more about the characters of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and we hope to learn more very soon. 

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners: Production Status 

There are no official reports about the production status from Studio Trigger or Netflix based on the productions of  Cyberpunk: Edgerunners: recently. The updates from the timeline of IMDb, “filming” started on 7th April 2021, and have been ended by 10th September 2021.  As an animated series, the shooting might indicate that the casts of the different dubs were also recorded. It seems that we have to wait to learn about the updates regarding any of the recordings.

At the Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) in Kochi on Friday, September 2, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commissioned the INS Vikrant, India’s first indigenously-built aircraft carrier. The Prime Minister declared following the launching that India has now entered the elite group of countries that have created indigenous aircraft carriers.

In his remarks at the commissioning ceremony, Modi described the INS Vikrant as a floating village and airfield, with the ability to power 5,000 homes and have cables reach Kashi from Kochi.

The carrier’s deck, according to him, is the size of two football fields and serves as an illustration of the government’s goal to make India self-sufficient in the defense industry. The security of the Indo-Pacific region is “our priority, but in the past, it was ignored,” the prime minister added.

Additionally, Modi displayed the updated Naval Ensign. Speaking to a sizable crowd at the INS Vikrant’s commissioning ceremony, Modi remarked that with the new ensign, the nation had left its colonial heritage.

The 262-meter-long carrier, which has four gas turbines with a combined 88 MW of power and a top speed of 28 knots, is said to have a full displacement of close to 45,000 tonnes.

The carrier’s construction has cost around Rs 20,000 crore in total. 2009 saw the laying of its keel. Rajnath Singh, the Union Defense Minister, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief of the Navy R Harikumar, Chairman and Managing Director of CSL Madhu S Nair, and others were present during the commissioning ceremony.
