Anthony Martial reveals injury mistreatment under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

0

Anthony Martial has hit out at former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over his treatment. The Norwegian has been accused of not allowing Martial to rest while he was injured, and playing him nevertheless.

The Frenchman spent the latter half of last season on loan at Sevilla, and is now back at Manchester United. However, he is still out on the sidelines with an issue. But, he is part of Erik Ten Hag’s plans for the season when he returns to full fitness.

Anthony Martial hits back at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer due to injury treatment

“The last two seasons, I have regularly played injured. People don’t know that I couldn’t accelerate during the four months following the Covid season. Solskjær tells me that he needs me, so I play,” Anthony Martial told France Football

“Given my game, if I can’t accelerate, it becomes very complicated.”

“And I get criticised — the coach never bothered to tell the media. Obviously, I end up getting injured for good and when I come back, finished, I don’t play anymore.”

“I took it very badly. I had a feeling of injustice.”

“You are asked to sacrifice yourself for the team, and behind you are dismissed.”

“For me, it’s almost treachery. That’s all I hate. I can be blamed, but not for being fake.”

Raphinha speaks out on his failed Chelsea transfer this summer

0

Brazilian winger Raphinha has opened up about his move to Barcelona from Leeds United. The player was locked in a transfer battle which involved Chelsea and Barca both trying to sign him.

Chelsea had reached an agreement with Leeds before the Spanish side. But, due to the player’s wishes, the move to Stamford Bridge did not go through and he waited for Joan Laporta to come and sign him.

Raphinha opens up on Barcelona transfer after Chelsea rejection

“Rejecting an offer from Chelsea? Yes, because my dream was to wear the Barca shirt,” he said to La Vanguardia. “I followed them since I was young, since Ronaldinho arrived. I wanted to be a part of it.

“The desire was stronger than any other proposal, no matter how powerful it was financially. I knew that I might have some difficulties to come and to be registered. But I was also aware of the effort the club was making.

“So I decided to trust and adapt to the economic conditions that existed. I was born in La Restinga, a very poor neighbourhood in Porto Alegre. I had a very poor childhood, so to speak.

“But my family taught me that humility and values are much more important than material things and that has saved me on many occasions.”

“I talked to Neymar about a move and he told me that if I get to Barcelona then I won’t regret and he was right,” he added.

Raphinha scored his first goal for Barcelona recently in the 3-0 win against Sevilla, and has also assisted another.

Early buyers are flocking to Apple iPhone 14 Pro models

0

The iPhone 14 Pro versions will predominate Apple‘s initial wave of orders, claims famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. According to him the company’s first wave of orders will be heavily dominated by the iPhone 14 Pro models.

That’s 85% to be exact. And the iPhone 14 Plus option will account for less than 5% of sales. That’s the same kind of sales performance that caused the Mini line to be scrapped.

Early buyers want to buy Apple iPhone 14 Pro models

Early offline pre-order data in China shows exactly that, and Kuo says that’s what usually happens with early sales. However, sales of the Pro options are slightly higher this year than in previous years. This is likely due to the large difference in features between the standard Apple iPhone 14 series and the Pro versions.

Early buyers are flocking to Apple iPhone 14 Pro models

It’s clear that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max have received larger upgrades, unlike the regular iPhone 14, which received minor upgrades compared to its predecessor, and the 14 Plus, which appears to be priced too close to the Pro models.

This is probably due to the greater difference in features between the standard iPhone 14 series and the Pro iterations. Obviously, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max got bigger updates as opposed to the regular iPhone 14, which got minor updates over its predecessor and the 14 Plus, which is seemingly priced too close to the Pro models.

Early buyers are flocking to Apple iPhone 14 Pro models

It is also worth noting that the pricing of the iPhone 14 series varies from markets. In the US, prices have remained the same as last year, although the ‘Pro’ models have gotten a Rs 10,000 price hike in India. However, it is still early days and popularity of the ‘Plus’ variant could rise in the future as users who want a larger screen without paying the premium price for the Pro Max. So once consumers start analysing their alternatives, perhaps sales of the iPhone 14 Plus will increase globally.

TATA Motors will launch Tiago EV at an affordable price

TATA Motors will launch Tiago EV – Which could start at Rs.10 lakh to make it the most affordable passenger EV in the Indian market

The Indian automobile giant has recently confirmed on world EV day that they will be launching a more affordable Tata Tiago EV, based on the same Tiago ICE Petrol hatchback. This is no surprise that TATA has the potential of launching multiple Electric cars but the urgency has been pretty low because of the high demand for Tigor and Nexon EVs.

However, as we see new EVs getting announced like the new Mercedes AMG EQ and Mahindra XUV400, they had to announce a new one at the World EV Day yesterday. So, Shailesh Chandra from Tata Motors made an announcement that they will be launching the new Tiago EV, presumably the same one which they showcased previously.

As this CNBC-TV18 tweet tells you, Tata Motors plans to increase its production as the EV momentum builds in India in the last few years now. The automobile giant is targetting to sell around 50k EVs in FY23 and the confirmation comes that more affordable EVs will be brought to the market by them.

The interesting thing though is that the upcoming Tiago EV could be priced below the current Tigor EV which starts at Rs.12.5 lakhs and that could presumably mean that this upcoming electric hatchback could start at Rs.10 lakhs or even less. Now, this could really be revolutionary for buyers who have always wanted an EV but aren’t looking to burn their pockets.

Obviously, these kinds of hatchbacks sell pretty quickly, and producing them in bulk is a major challenge for automakers like Tata Motors. However, the company is working out to utilize the recently purchased Ford’s Sanand plant and is also trying to get an additional capacity of 3 lakh units manufactured from this plant.

Well, are you excited about the new era of EVs in India? Do let us know your thoughts on this upcoming Tiago EV and its potential in our country…🙌😁

Intel Sapphire Rapids 48-Core CPUs Matches AMD’s Zen 3 EPYC 64-Core CPU in new Benchmark

0

According to @BenchLeaks on Twitter, two prototype Intel Xeon Platinum 8468 Sapphire Rapids 48 core server processors were recently evaluated in Geekbench 5. Even though these chips aren’t the top-of-the-line 56-core models, they displayed some outstanding performance numbers, matching AMD’s best-of-the-best twin EPYC 64-core configuration in the same benchmark.

Twin Xeon Platinum 8468 CPUs with a combined 96 cores and 192 threads were installed in the Sapphire Rapids system that was shared. A single-threaded score of 1,257 points and a multi-threaded score of 74,586 points were produced by the two processors working together.

Twin AMD EPYC 7763 processors with a combined core count of 128 cores and 256 threads are one of the best dual AMD EPYC processor configurations we could locate on Geekbench 5 for comparison.

In the single-threaded test, both Intel Sapphire Rapids and AMD’s EPYC chips scored 1249 points, and in the multi-threaded test, they scored 75,539.

As a result, there is just a 1% performance difference between the two platforms’ single- and multi-core performance. However, if we examine the performance of each core individually under a multi-threaded workload, Intel is 23% quicker than AMD.

This is significant since single-threaded benchmarks only reveal an individual core’s peak performance when all other cores are inactive, allowing that core to utilise extra power and thermal reserves. Individual core performance under load thus reveals the characteristics of each core under the most demanding conditions.

However, it should be noted that Geekbench 5 is not a particularly helpful benchmark for outcomes of real-world performance. So, treat this information with caution. On the other hand, Geekbench at least allows us to get a broad picture of how well Sapphire Rapids performs.

Disney and Marvel Games Showcase: Here are all the big announcements

0

The Disney and Marvel Games Showcase at D23 just ended, and the occasion was jam-packed with information and announcements regarding games from the many properties of the entertainment corporation. There was a tonne of game trailers shown during the conference, both for games that are currently available (like Disney Dreamlight Valley) and those that will be released in the future.

Tron Identity, a brand-new game set in the Tron universe, was unveiled by Disney. The brief teaser trailer mostly consisted of the game’s title card, but its Steam website reveals much more, including the fact that it is a visual novel mystery game. In 2023, Bithell Games, the studio behind independent games like Thomas Was Alone, will release Tron Identity.

A video game being developed by Skydance New Media will feature both the Captain America and Black Panther universes. The game will feature Steve Rogers/Captain America, Azzuri, the WWII-era Black Panther, Gabriel Jones, a US soldier who is also a member of the Howling Commandos, and Nanali, a member of the Wakandan Spy Network, according to a Marvel blog post. However, this teaser trailer was short on details. Amy Hennig, a former creative director for the Uncharted series who joined Skydance in October, will be in charge of the as-yet-untitled game.

Marvel World of Heroes is a brand-new augmented reality smartphone game being developed by Disney with the creators of the Pokémon Go augmented reality game, Niantic.

Players will be able to transform into their own superhero and “patrol their neighborhoods to foil crimes, execute Super Hero missions, and thwart interdimensional threats,” according to a press release. That suggests that you might encounter groups of players roaming about your area brandishing their iPhones, I suppose. The game is scheduled to debut in 2019.

The upcoming strategy game Marvel’s Midnight Suns, created by Firaxis Games, was unveiled by Disney along with a release date. After being postponed earlier this year, Midnight Suns will finally launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 on December 2, 2022. A later date will see the release of Midnight Suns for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

The upcoming installment of the popular Monkey Island series, Return to Monkey Island, will have an in-game scrapbook that highlights significant moments from the series’ history.

I’m really looking forward to reading through the scrapbook to catch up on the story before delving into the puzzle adventure because I’ve only ever played the first two Monkey Island games. Fortunately, I won’t have to wait long because Return to Monkey Island will be available on September 19 for PC and Nintendo Switch.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU might actually be slower than RTX 3070 Ti

0

Kopite7kimi recently tweeted that NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4060 graphics cards would not be particularly quick and might use an x8 PCI interface. The NVIDIA AD106 GPU, which is supposed to power the RTX 4060 series graphics cards, has a poor performance, according to the leaker.

Although we are unsure of the precise configuration being discussed, it is more likely that he is referring to the full-fat die than a scaled-down version. According to a leaked 3DMark Time Spy Extreme benchmark, the GPU scored less than 7000 points.

With this performance, the AD106 GPU should be slower than the RTX 3070 Ti and comparable to the RTX 3070, which is not the significant improvement that the higher-end AD102 and AD103 GPUs are receiving.

The AD106 GPU (GeForce RTX 4060) should be up to 18% quicker than the RTX 3060 Ti and 69% faster than the RTX 3060 with a Time Spy Extreme score between 6500 and 7000.

Even while a performance improvement of more than 50% is significant, the 2x leaps that have been rumoured for high-end cards are larger. Gaming would at most see a 30–40% improvement if synthetic benchmarks increased by 50–60%.

The leaker further states that the PCIe x8 interface will be used by the “Ada Lovelace” GPUs AD106 and AD107. It makes sense given that these GPUs are primarily aimed at the mobility market (Laptops/Notebooks). The GeForce RTX 4060 and 4050 for desktops will now have an x8 link, which shouldn’t be a problem for most PCs as next-generation systems from AMD and Intel support Gen 5 PCIe slots. However, using an older Gen 3 platform can cause problems due to its lower bandwidth and transfer speeds.

Why Brahmastra has lost more than Rs. 800 Crore of Inox and PVR Investors?

0

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s new mythological drama film seems unable to make new milestones in Bollywood. According to the current reports, return back its money is now become difficult for the film as all of the investment of the PVR and Inox just went into the vein. After the reviews, we have come to know that the film has faced a terrible loss of Rs. 800 crores in market capitalization.

Brahmastra follows the story of Indian mythology, where Brahmastra is the lord of Astras, and popular for its power of destruction. There is only one thing set to stop by using its counterattack Astra or weapon. The twist or the irony of the film has concluded with a victim of the weapon as it has been named after.

Brahmastra

Brahmastra got such critical reviews after a huge number of bookings worth Rs. 23 crores. The movie reviewer and the analyzer Taran Adarsh have provided a two-star rating by showing a mammoth disappointment.

If this thing continues, the film will not only be one of the huge Bollywood flops, then it can pour the cool water at the chances of revival at the time while many South Indian films can break the records nationwide.

The film has made a budget of Rs. 410 crores, Brahmastra featured many big names of the industry like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and in a cameo we have seen Shah Rukh Khan along with the producer Karan Johar. The film has end with intense firepower.

There are some analysts who have suggested that the film would end up making less than just half of the money that has been invested for the film, that is already in delay for several years.

image 257 Why Brahmastra has lost more than Rs. 800 Crore of Inox and PVR Investors?

Elara Capitals in a media note says, “The lifetime box office for the film is estimated to be in a wide range of Rs. 130 to 200 crores, based on the strong advances,”

According to some, if Joar & Co. Trying to make big screen magic like RRR, then they might try this again.

We have noted quite interesting observations from the viewers that say, “It’s basically a badly written Crime Patrol episode dialogues(sic), mixed with a very bad Ekta Kapoor plot”

image 258 Why Brahmastra has lost more than Rs. 800 Crore of Inox and PVR Investors?

The other viewer said if we depart the visual effects then the film is a hotch-potch with the worst storytelling and character development with some other issues.

However, all the views are not disappointing, there are some expert reviews and commentary unveiled on social media that will supply the oxygen to the film as the audience’s opinion, and reception will decide the fate of the film.

From Elara Capital, Karn Taurani said, “We believe a positive word of mouth and audience acceptance can help the film breach the upper end,” after examining all the reviews it shows, the film is not up to the mark for the audience who reared huge expectations from the film.

Gigabyte offering PCIe 5.0 SSDs with 12.4 GBps speeds while others limited to 10 GBps

0

Over the past few weeks, at least three SSD manufacturers—Corsair, Gigabyte, and Goodram—announced their SSDs based on Phison’s E26 controller with a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface. The greatest sequential read speed offered by Corsair and Goodram drives is 10 GBps, Gigabyte’s offering is said to reach 12.4 GBps. This is because no 3D NAND chip is currently fast enough to utilise the controller’s full potential.

Eight NAND channels are present in the Phison PS5026-E26 controller, which is usual for client SSDs. These channels can handle a variety of data transfer speeds, however 3D NAND memory with a 2400 MTps interface is required to reach PCIe 5.0 x4 (15.754 GBps in both directions) saturation. This memory was first announced by Micron in July, followed by SK Hynix in early August, and then YMTC unveiled their Xtacking 3.0 architecture, which enables a 2400 MTps speed.

All of Phison’s E26 demos used SSDs equipped with Micron’s most recent 3D NAND chips, and at this time, the drives’ sequential read rates reached about 12 GBps. According to ITHome, Galax is also testing its HOF Extreme 50 SSDs using Micron’s 232-layer 2400 MTps chips.

The 232-layer 3D NAND chips from Micron, which have a 2400 MTps interface, are more developed and in mass production than their competitors. However, there is an issue. Chips with 2400 MTps data transfer rates have low yields, yet they operate well at 1600 MTps. It will take the company some time to start mass production of chips that all operate at 2400 MTps, which is expected to happen sometime early next year.

SSDs
credit: tomshardware

SSDs based on Phison’s E26 controller will only reach 10,000 MBps in the meantime.

While Corsair and Goodram rated their drives at 10 GBps because they would have to use 3D NAND memory with a 1600 MTps interface, Gigabyte revealed their Aorus Gen5 10000 SSD with a 12.4 GB/s sequential read performance.

Only time will tell if Gigabyte can obtain sufficient 2400 MTps processors to ensure the correct availability of their drive. Since Corsair and Goodram’s performance goals are arguably more reasonable, anticipate that these SSDs will be among the best ones this fall and be widely available.

Also anticipate the debut of these businesses’ MP700 and IRDM Pro successors as soon as memory with a 2400 MTps interface becomes generally accessible. The HOF Extreme 50 drive is being tested with Micron’s 232-layer 2400 MTps chips, so you can make some educated predictions as to when Galax plans to release it.
