Neumann.Berlin announces M 49 V, a reissue of the legendary M 49 in the Indian Market

German studio specialist Neumann.Berlin announces a reissue of the legendary M 49, today in the Indian market. Ever since its introduction in 1951, the M 49 has been regarded as a studio microphone par excellence. With its continuously remote-controlled polar pattern, it revolutionized studio technology and its incomparably silky sound has graced countless recordings, from the cool jazz of the 1950s until today’s chart toppers. As a result, the M 49 is in great demand not only among collectors but also as a vital recording tool: The digital age has made its characterful sound even more desirable.

The M 49 V is a reissue according to original specifications and design documents from the Neumann archive. It uses the same circuitry as the last and most popular historical revision, the M 49 c, but with even lower noise, hand-selected subminiature tube. “

Detail improvements have been made to the pattern control unit, which now automatically adapts to the mains voltage and is also compatible with old M 49 microphones. Instead of the old bayonet connector, the M 49 V uses the RF-tight connector of the historic broadcast version M 249. In addition, the M 49 V can be configured via internal switches, either as a made-to-order option or post-sales by Neumann Service.

The infrasonic filter, which protects the BV11 output transformer from unwanted distortion, can be lowered from 30 Hz to 12 Hz, resulting in the frequency response of the early M 49 (without suffix) up to 1957. Like the historical M 49 b model variant, the M 49 V can be set to fixed cardioid pickup pattern, which improves the signal-to-noise ratio by about 3 dB. This option is useful if the M 49 V is to be used exclusively in cardioid mode, for example for vocals and speech.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Early December Release Date | Trailer and Plot

As per the sources, the launch date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns, which was featured in the brand-new teaser for their next strategy game, was revealed at the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase at the 2022 D23 Expo by XCOM developer Firaxis Games.

The game’s release date was delayed indefinitely beginning in the first week of August of this year. The game will now be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on December 2, 2022, as originally planned.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is based on The Rise of the Midnight Sons crossover storyline from Marvel Comics and was created by Firaxis Games, well-known for creating game franchises such as Civilization and XCOM and published by 2K Games. It casts players in the role of The Hunter, a brand-new hero who is revived by the titular organization to aid in the battle against their mother Lilith, the Mother of All Demons.

With 12 of them being playable with The Hunter at the game’s launch and more to be added, you’ll be faced with assembling a team of some of Marvel’s most potent and famous heroes from Marvel franchises like Avengers to the Runaways.

About the Launch Date

Midnight Suns was initially scheduled for release in March of this year but was postponed to the second half of 2022 in late November 2021 after being first revealed during the 2021 Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. Firaxis stated that the previously indicated indefinite delay of the game from August was due to their desire to provide the finest experience for its fans.

Apple A16 Bionic Uses New Cores to give itself an Enhanced Power and Performance

Apple’s most recent A16 Bionic uses the same number of high-performance and efficient cores as it did for earlier iterations. The new SoC, however, benefits from new cores that most likely resulted from an enhanced architecture.

Apple’s strategy for the chipset it utilises in its iPhones has been to use two high-performance cores and four cores with high power efficiency. The M1, which has an 8-core CPU arrangement, currently makes up its more costly iPad line. Due to their larger size, iPads may support larger heat spreaders that effectively dissipate heat, maintaining better temperature control. Apple does not have the luxury of a room with the A16 Bionic powering the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The A16 Bionic is manufactured in large quantities using TSMC’s 4nm design, and while this helps Apple meet its “power efficiency” objectives, using newer cores also does so.

The chipset itself is known as Crete, while the performance cores are code-named Everest and the efficiency cores are code-named Sawtooth, according to Longhorn on Twitter.

In addition to having different names, the A15 Bionic’s performance cores last year were capable of reaching a maximum frequency of 3.23GHz under optimal conditions. According to a prior benchmark, Apple’s newest SoC outperformed the A15 Bionic with an unmatched single-core score and a 14 per cent increase in multi-core performance. The Everest core in the A16 Bionic can operate at speeds of up to 3.46GHz, which logically translates into superior performance.

YouTube is trying to get more people to buy its premium subscription plan and its idea to do so is through even more intrusive ads. The video-sharing platform has quietly started testing a new ad model that will show up to 5 advertisements before the video even starts.

YouTube Ads to become more annoying

Over the past few years, Facebook has established itself as one of the best when it comes to digital advertising. On YouTube, Google has an equally competitive product that is used to serve viewers with ads. The popular online video-sharing platform has grown to become one of the world’s largest digital advertisers.

Valued at $1.65 billion in 2005, YouTube reportedly managed to earn about $20 billion in ad revenue in 2020 alone. This is way more than what YouTube Premium brings to the table. Currently, not all free YouTubers experience the “5 ads before video starts” status, so YouTube is obviously testing this on some users only.

Regarding the issue, YouTube acknowledged the situation on Twitter and stated that the new 5 ad problems could happen to YouTube users with the company’s new ad type. As explained by YouTube, these are short-form ads on the platform that are usually 6 seconds long and unfortunately cannot be skipped. However, even if these are only 6 seconds long, this still makes for 40 seconds worth of ads, which is even longer than the TV ads we get these days.

YouTube Is About To Show 5 Ads, Not 2, Before Videos Start

For several YouTube Free users, they reported that they have received 5 unskippable advertisements as opposed to skippable advertisements before a video-watching session, and this caused dissent and upset among the users. As of now, most users of YouTube Free are only receiving up to 2 ads before their video starts, but it is not known whether the “5-ad format” change will be rolled out to all YouTube Free users soon.

YouTube Premium users, on the other hand, get no ads at all. They can also download videos for offline playback and get access to more content across the platform. YouTube Music Premium also comes with a paid plan, letting you listen to music without any interruptions. Lastly, YouTube reiterates that if both Free and Premium users have any feedback regarding YouTube’s ad policy, users can always send feedback directly to the company via the “Send Feedback” tool on the company’s video-sharing platform.

The shooting of the second season started in early  May and was wrapped at the end of July. If this series follows that particular schedule then expect it will come in late 2022 or in early 2023 release.  

We should clearly confirm that there is no such particular release date for the new season of the series. 

Emily in Paris (Season 4): Renewal Updates 

While Netflix has made those announcements that Emily in Paris had been renewed for the third season, it was also exposed that the series was renewed for the fourth season. There Is no such confirmation whether season 4 will be the last or not.

Report: Google intends to move some of the Pixel manufacturing to India

As per reports, Google wants to move the manufacturing of its premium Pixel phone to India. The Information cites a company source in its report on the development. The behemoth produces all of its Pixel devices in China.

According to the source, Google has requested bids from Indian manufacturers for the production of 500,000 to 1 million Pixel devices. The anticipated annual total production of Pixel is made up of this (10–20%). Earlier this year, Google CEO Sundar Pichai made hints about a plan to produce Pixel smartphones in India, but the report claims that no decision has been made in this regard. Even if the company is granted permission to produce Pixel devices in India, China will still be required to export some parts.

This decision to shift production of Pixel phones outside of China is a result of the COVID-19-related lockdowns that have disrupted international supply chains.
