Quality fit for audiophiles

The IE 200 enables seasoned hi-fi enthusiasts and newcomers alike to experience new dimensions of sound quality. Based on 15 years of Sennheiser TrueResponse Transducer technology, the IE 200 features a 7-millimetre extra-wide band transducer for exceptional quality. A hallmark of the IE family, the latest addition to the in-ear lineup continues to bring superbly balanced and realistic audio to an ultra-compact form factor.

With IE 200, nothing stands between the user and discovering new sonic landscapes. Harmonic distortion is almost non-existent, with a natural frequency response curve typically found in earphones costing significantly more. Furthermore, the IE 200 can appeal to a variety of listening preferences thanks to its unique dual-tuning feature. Audiophiles can mount the included ear tips in one of two positions, giving them control over the balance of their audio experience – from deep and emotional bass response to texture-rich treble presence.

Comfortably Connected

With an exceptionally comfortable fit, IE 200 is made for uninterrupted listening sessions. Able to accommodate ears of all sizes, their inconspicuous design boasts a proven ergonomic design that promotes a secure seal and lasting comfort. Viscoelastic foam and silicone ear adapters in multiple sizes block ambient distractions while maximizing low-end response. A revised, braided cable reduces handling noise, and terminates to widely a 3.5mm stereo plug and MMCX connectors for connection to countless audiophile devices.

Pricing and availability

The Sennheiser IE 200 will be available for pre-order globally on January 17, 2023, and will go on sale from January 31, 2023 across all online platforms such as www.sennheiser-hearing.com, Amazon, Flipkart, Headphone Zone and The Audio Store along with premium retail outlets at INR 14990.

LG Signature 97-inch OLED Smart TV launched at CES 2023

The 97-inch-wide LG Signature OLED M3 is a mammoth Smart TV. The LG Signature OLED M3 is not only bigger than other Smart TVs, but it can also work wirelessly, although not quite in the same way as the Displace TV, which also made its premiere at CES 2023.

All about LG’s New Big Thing

LG unveiled the C3, G3, and Z3 earlier this week, a trio of traditional OLED Smart TVs that will be offered later this year. The Signature OLED M3, a Smart TV that is comparable to the Displace TV but differs from the C3, G3, and Z3 series, has also been introduced by the business. In comparison to the Displace TV, which spans 55 inches across but can be joined to produce a 220-inch composite display, the Signature OLED M3 is significantly bigger.

In contrast, the 97-inch display of the Signature OLED M3 outputs natively at 4K and 120 Hz. The Signature OLED M3 gives the appearance of being wireless by streaming content from a base station, similar to the Displace TV. Having said that, unlike the Displace TV, which relies on batteries, the Signature OLED M3 uses a standard power cord. The Signature OLED M3 also uses conventional wall mounting techniques, despite Displace’s assertion that its eponymous TV can stick to flat surfaces by itself using a vacuum-based mechanism. As an alternative, LG will sell a stand specifically designed for the Signature OLED M3.

However, LG has provided details regarding the Zero Connect Box, the TV’s base station. The Zero Connect Box, for instance, has three HDMI 2.1 ports in addition to USB Type-A connections, LAN ports, and HDMI 2.1 ports. Although the distance between the Zero Connect Box and Signature OLED M3 can be up to 30 feet, they supposedly need to be in a clear line of sight of one another.

Although LG has not specified the communication protocol used by the two, it claims that the speed will be three times faster than what Wi-Fi 6 devices are capable of while still being connected to a wireless speaker. The pricing and availability of the Signature OLED M3 are currently unknown because LG has not yet provided all the information.

TCL NXTWEAR S XR Glasses: The Future is here

TCL‘s screens can be found on TVs, cellphones, and possibly in the metaverse in the near future. The company at least aims to create the screen that takes you there. The business will present its wearable display research, along with a Virtual reality headset as well as mixed reality spectacles, at CES 2023.

Additionally, its personal display glasses, which have only been offered in a few regions, are currently on their way to the US. It’s sort of a “cover all your bases” approach for whatever the state of display technology is going to be in the future.

All about TCL’s Latest Technology

The organization’s NXTWear S glasses are the most recent iteration of its wearable display, which functions much like a TV hidden inside a pair of conventional-looking spectacles. They haven’t augmented reality or virtual reality glasses; instead, they connect to a laptop, phone, or other device and project media onto what appears to be a 130-inch screen.

This quarter, the NXTWear S spectacles will be available in the US for $399. If Lenovo’s Glasses T1, which are extremely similar, are headed for the US at all, they’ll probably arrive before ours.

2 7 TCL NXTWEAR S XR Glasses: The Future is here

The RayNeo X2 glasses offer a different perspective on the future because they are made for augmented reality. They display heads-up information in the wearer’s field of vision, such as navigation and language translation, using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 platform with a full-colour Micro LED optical waveguide display.

They are suited for both indoor and outdoor use, according to TCL, and have a brightness of up to 1,000 nits. According to today’s press release, the business intends to deliver them to devs early this year, with a commercial launch coming later.

3 6 TCL NXTWEAR S XR Glasses: The Future is here

Though still in concept form, the company’s NXTWear V headset is a bit further off. With such a 1512ppi pixel density, it provides a 108-degree field of view. Approximately half as much as the Oculus Quest 2, according to TCL, it weighs only 236 grams.

Although comparing the Quest 2 to the NXTWear V, which isn’t yet commercially available, isn’t exactly apples to apples, it does reveal some of TCL’s conceptual goals. There will undoubtedly be a need for lighter, more affordable VR headsets if virtual reality is to become widely used. Furthermore, TCL still offers a display for your face if it doesn’t catch on.

Asus’ brand new Xbox Controller with an In-Built Display is here

0

A new Xbox PC controller from Asus with an integrated OLED screen and a variety of PC networking options will be available later this year. Although Asus isn’t the first to use an OLED display on an Xbox controller, it is the first to support tri-mode Bluetooth, RF, or USB-C connectivity.

Above the Xbox button on the ROG Raikiri Pro is a small 1.3-inch OLED display that shows various information, including microphone status, custom animations, battery, and more.

Everything you need to know about this new Asus controller!

The OLED display’s (128 x 40 resolution) main functions will be to switch between profiles when playing games, as well as to monitor the mic or charging status, pair Bluetooth devices, and run animated or text-based wallpapers. The unique animations make me think of the Sega Dreamcast controller from the early 90s or the OLED display that took the place of the Xbox “jewel” on the updated Duke controller in 2018.

2 5 Asus' brand new Xbox Controller with an In-Built Display is here

Two buttons on the top of the Raikiri Pro allow you to switch between different controller profiles while playing. You may alter the joystick sensitivity, button mapping, dead zones, and trigger modes with Asus’ Armoury Crate PC software. Trigger locks, a spherical D-pad, and four programmable back buttons are also included.

3 4 Asus' brand new Xbox Controller with an In-Built Display is here

This controller also happens to be the very first Xbox-licensed one to support tri-mode communication. Along with Bluetooth and wired USB-C, this also supports a low-latency 2.4GHz RF mode. Asus describes to the Raikiri Pro as a pro PC controller and only specifies compatibility with Xbox Series S/X consoles when utilizing wired USB-C, even though it sports the developed Xbox symbol. That suggests that many of the premium features are only fully functional on PC.

4 3 Asus' brand new Xbox Controller with an In-Built Display is here

A 3.5 mm headphone port, an ESS DAC that is incorporated inside the Raikiri Pro, and a mute button are also included. The Raikiri Pro’s precise release date and price have not been disclosed by Asus. All we know is that it is going to be ready during the first quarter.

The Premier League club will be paying €12.5 million for the youngster born in 2004. And he joins the likes of Carney Chukwuemeka, Cesare Casadei, David Datro Fofana, Omari Hutchinson and Gabriel Slolina – all of whom have been recruited for the long-term project being built at Stamford Bridge.

Qualcomm unveiled the first two-way messaging system for smartphones

0

Qualcomm Technologies unveiled the first satellite-based two-way messaging solution for high-end smartphones, Snapdragon Satellite, at CES 2023. Beginning with devices based on the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, Snapdragon Satellite will use mobile messaging to connect people all over the world.

OEMs and other service providers will be able to give genuinely global coverage thanks to the new technology, which will be supported by the fully operational Iridium® satellite constellation and powered by Snapdragon 5G Modem-RF Systems. The smartphone solution uses Iridium’s weather-resistant L-band bandwidth for both uplink and downlink.

Qualcomm

Satellite-based connectivity for next-generation premium Android phones will be provided by Qualcomm and Iridium, while Garmin will offer emergency communications.

In remote, rural, and offshore locations, Snapdragon® Satellite can enable two-way emergency messaging, SMS texting, and other messaging applications. Snapdragon® Satellite gives complete worldwide coverage from pole to pole.

Qualcomm

Snapdragon Satellite will support 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks once NTN satellite constellations and infrastructure become accessible (NTN).
With this technology, smartphones and other non-smartphone gadgets can communicate through satellite in an emergency.

The following generation of smartphones, which will debut in select regions in the second half of 2023, will provide emergency message sending and receiving via Snapdragon Satellite.

Samsung refreshes its Smart Monitor M8 for 2023 with various new features

Samsung has improved the Smart Monitor M8, which it introduced last year. The Smart Monitor M8 billed as an all-arounder, can be used not only as a traditional external monitor but also as a Smart TV thanks to a Tizen-derived OS with game and video streaming apps. To that end, Samsung included speakers and a small Amazon Fire TV Stick-style remote with the original Smart Monitor M8.

While the Smart Monitor M8 was originally available in a single 32-inch size, Samsung has now released a smaller 27-inch model, mirroring its older Space Monitor series. The smaller Smart Monitor M8 retains the 4K resolution of its larger sibling, resulting in a higher pixel density. Both are available in Daylight Blue, Spring Green, Sunset Pink, and Warm White, as well as a height-adjustable stand with tilt support.

This year’s Samsung Smart Monitor M8 series includes stands that can pivot up to 90 degrees, which was missing from the original 32-inch model.

Furthermore, both sizes come with VESA mounts if you don’t want to use the included stand. The Smart Monitor M8 series supports mouse control functionality within SmartThings and Smart Hub, among other apps, providing greater convenience than the previous year’s version. Samsung also claims to have added a new My Contents feature that can display specific information, such as upcoming calendar entries, at a glance.

This year’s Smart Monitor M8 monitor will also include an upgraded SlimFit camera, which now operates at 2K resolution and is compatible with video conferencing apps like Google Meet. Samsung has not yet confirmed pricing or availability, but the previous Smart Monitor M8 took the company several months to do so.
