Redmi Note 12 5G getting the worst reviews on Amazon

Quite surprisingly the recently launched Redmi Note 12 5G has heavily been criticized by initial buyers on Amazon India and the reviews look very bad though. Though sports all the required ingredients to satisfy most Indian users but most have complained and given very bad reviews on the e-commerce site.

A lot of people have complained about the ₹17,999 starting price which is on the higher side obviously and almost the entire Note 12 series pricing has been on the higher side. On top of this, people have heavily complained about the camera of this Redmi Note 12 5G and have heavily criticized the focus as well as the video quality being very poor.

While people do have praised the Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits of peak brightness, that seems the only thing people have liked. Many have complained about the poor performance of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 and the lag due to the heavy MIUI while the base variant only sports 4GB RAM even with higher pricing.

Though no one complained about 5G or connectivity features but have also shown their frustration against the 5000mAh battery which is enough for most a lot of people to say that the battery is draining very fast. Every single recent review has poured in negative opinions and the average rating of this Redmi Note 12 5G is only 2.5 out of 5.

This is one of the lowest ratings a Redmi Note has ever got after launch and most honest reviews have critically dug into the camera and increased pricing. Even though Samsung cannot afford an AMOLED display at Rs.15k, people are happy with 5G and a higher refresh rate LCD display but Xiaomi has spent too much on the display that they have lost their “focus” on cameras.

Should you buy this Note 12 5G? Well, seeing the reviews it seems Xiaomi has totally done it wrong in terms of perfect balance, these days paying Rs.18k no one will like an entry-level camera performance and if as Indians have become familiar with exceptional camera quality from Xiaomi previously, this kind of negative reviews is obvious.

Maximo Perrone to sign for Manchester City until 2028 very soon

Manchester City are set to complete the signing of Máximo Perrone from Argentine club Velez Sarsfield. The reported transfer fee for him is around €11 million, which is a little above his €8 million release clause. 

The formalities surrounding the move have been completed, and the contracts have been signed. The transfer has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, and it is only a matter of time before his arrival is made official by City. 

Maximo Perrone to sign for Manchester City imminently 

The 20-year-old will sign a contract with City until June 2028, and the defensive midfielder is expected to be a part of their future project. 

He is one of the most valuable players in Argentina, with a market value of €8.5 million. Moreover, he was vital to Velez’s game plan last season, making 33 appearances. He also became the captain of the club, despite being relatively young, and is now set for a new challenge.  

There are rumours that Maximo Perrone could be loaned out to Manchester City’s sister club, New York City FC in the MLS before switching over to the Premier League. He will become the second Argentinian to sign for the club in back-to-back years, following Julian Alvarez, who has had a very good time in Sky Blue so far. 

City have been signing young players quite actively in recent years, and Perrone will soon become the latest to join the list once his arrival is announced.

Tottenham Hotspur are considering a loan move for Nicolo Zaniolo of Roma with an option to buy. But, they face an objection from the Italian club in that they only want a permanent transfer. 

The asking price for the attacking midfielder is around €35-40 million, which isn’t being met as of now. Spurs are also trying to include a player of their own in the deal to trim the excess numbers in their squad.

The two major injuries sustained by Nicolo Zaniolo in the past have hindered his progress to an extent. He was missing for a few matches this season as well, but has been available for the most part. And now, he is pushing to take up a new challenge by the end of the month which could be in England. 

Tottenham are known to be quite difficult to negotiate with when it comes to transfers. And it will be interesting to see what kind of deal goes through for Zaniolo, if one is to be reached at all.

OTTs now demand a theatrical release of a film before purchasing the digital rights to it.

Industry insiders claim that Bollywood films like Cuttputlli, Freddy, Gehraaiyaan, etc., that went directly to OTTs in 2022 even after cinemas had reopened, were primarily pandemic commitments.

OTTs favors theatrical releases!

Picking up the so-called sure-shot movies for OTTs makes sense in order to guarantee a positive return on investment. Since audiences are already aware of these movies, there is no need to spend money on promoting them because they have already been successful at the box office. For example, Netflix has been purchasing the rights to the majority of the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu blockbusters, including RRR in Hindi.
