She has inspired and scripted many wins for India and is considered to be one of the greatest bowlers to have ever played the sport. With over 350 international wickets, Jhulan holds the record for the highest number of wickets in women’s ODI history and the most wickets at the Women’s World Cups. After her retirement, Jhulan has been helping groom the next generation of cricketers as the mentor of the Bengal Women’s team.
Devieka Palshikaar
A former all-rounder for India was a player and coach of the Assam Women’s team from 2009 to 2012. After her playing career, Devieka was assistant coach of India between 2014 and 2016, and assistant coach of Bangladesh, winning the 2018 Asian cup with them. In India, she has been coaching various Indian domestic teams and was the head coach of Velocity for the 2022 Women’s T20 Challenge which made it to the finals.

A former cricketer, manager of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, and selector at MCA rounds off this powerhouse coaching team.

Jesse Marsch has been sacked as the head coach of Leeds United, following seven games without a win for the club. The 1-0 defeat against relegation-battling Nottingham Forest proved to be the last straw, and the American has been relieved of his duties.
Marsch spent less than a year in charge of the club, and was able to keep them in the Premier League last season. But things weren’t panning out well for the man who replaced Marcelo Bielsa, and he has now joined the list of former managers too.

Manchester City have been charged by the Premier League with unprecedented financial charges. The seasons between 2009 to 2018 have all allegedly caused 98 breaches which could lead to heavy punishment from the league board.
City have been under investigation for a breach of Financial Fair Play rules in the past. But, they were not charged by the league at the time. This time around, though, things seem to be a little more problematic for the defending champions.

“As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all,” the official statement read.
The case is set to be referred to an independent commission that will look into the matter. If they find that the charges against City are actually true, then a points deduction could be one of the punishments that they receive.
In Serie A, Juventus have already suffered a similar fate. The Bianconeri might miss out on Champions League football now, after a 15-point deduction. And Manchester City could soon be on the same trajectory if they are found guilty of the charges. The case will be taken up further and will be heard in full confidence before a judgement is passed.

The new trailer is about the post-COVID landscape that depicts the trailers getting delayed until the last minute, fans were delighted to see the release of a trailer for The Covenant with a few months to spare.
This trailer is ow a little bit of tension as one can expect from a film within this genre, keeping any viewer on the edge of their seat. It is a slight detour from his usual thematic style, writer and director Guy Ritchie has seemingly applied his authorial stamp across this entire film, with high-octane action sequences married to big-budget explosions. The film has juxtaposed themes of unlikely friendship and internal conflict that any and all viewers will likely relate to. Shot in Alicante, Spain, the trailer benefits from a daunting backdrop that really sets both the scene and the tone for what is likely to come.
Christopher Bedstead’s brilliantly increasing score combined with the restive cover of Tom Petty And the Heartbreakers’ I Won’t Back Down only adds to the ever-growing sense of impending doom throughout the trailer’s run time. All of these factors have combined with the narrative’s sadly realistic content that makes The Covenant seem both unrelentingly action-filled, and equally poignant. Fans of the genre, Gyllenhaal and Ritchie will definitely not want to miss this one after seeing the trailer.
