0

Warren Zaire-Emery recently became the youngest player to ever start a Champions League knockout game at the age of  16 years and 343 days. The youngster was named in the starting line-up for PSG against Bayern Munich in their recent Round of 16 first leg clash.

He played 57 minutes before being subbed off, and has attracted a lot of praise so far. So much so that he is expected to be the next big thing in football when he develops further.

Who is PSG’s Warren Zaire-Emery?

The youngster has risen through the PSG academy, and has been with them since the age of 8. He is currently under contract with the Parisians, having signed his first professional deal in 2022 after he won the Under-17 European Championship with France. His current deal is set to run out in 2025.

Apart from being the youngest player to start a Champions League knockout game, Warren Zaire-Emery is also PSG’s youngest-ever Ligue 1 starter (16 years, 4 months, and 29 days) and their youngest-ever goalscorer (16 years, 10 months and 24 days).

Emery has attracted comparisons to Wayne Rooney, who also had a burst at a young age. The PSG number 33 faces stiff competition to break into the front three. But, he could be an important choice for the coming years since Christophe Galtier rates him highly

ISL Playoffs 2022/23 Qualification scenarios explained for each team

Kerala Blasters and Bengaluru FC have qualified for the 22/23 ISL Playoffs, leaving only two spots open for the rest of the teams to go through. Mumbai City FC have won the league title, while Hyderabad FC are en route to finishing second in the table.

This leaves ATK Mohun Bagan and FC Goa in contention for the last two spots, alongside Chennaiyin FC and Odisha FC. Here is what the four teams must do to qualify for the ISL Playoffs this year.

ISL Playoffs 2022/23: What are the different situations for qualification?

As things stand, ATK Mohun Bagan need at least three more points to make it to the knockout stages of the league.

Goa are currently in the top six having a game in hand over Odisha, but are currently at the same points. Odisha have a chance to break into the top six if they can claim at least four points from their last two games. Otherwise, Goa must lose their final game or draw. In the latter scenario, a win from one of the last two matches would be enough.

For Goa to successfully qualify,

1. ATK Mohun Bagan must lose or draw both games, or

2. Odisha should draw both games, or lose one, and Goa have to defeat Bengaluru FC in the concluding clash.

The ISL playoffs will begin on 2nd March once the fixtures have been fully decided.

Ranji Trophy final 2023: Jaydev Unadkat becomes the First Saurashtra Bowler to take 300 Wickets

0

Saurashtra and Bengal battled it out in the Ranji Trophy Final 2023. Saurashtra skipper Jaydev Unadkat led his team and achieved a special feat by becoming the first Saurashtra bowler to bag 300 wickets in the Ranji Trophy. The left-arm medium pacer got rid of Abhimanyu Easwaran, providing the first jolt to Bengal, and continued to attack their batting line-up from the first over. He went on to dismiss Bengal skipper Manoj Tiwary in the fifth over, and finally ended Bengal’s innings at a moderate 174, by taking a catch off his own bowling.

On the other hand, Chetan Sakariya supported Unadkat by taking three wickets, leaving Bengal reeling at 17/4 inside five overs. The visitors ended Day 1 on 81/2, with Saurashtra’s Vishvaraj Jadeja (40*) and Arpit Vasavada (31*) at the crease.

Here’s what you need to know about the Ranji Trophy Final 2023:

  1. Jaydev Unadkat’s Achievement:

Jaydev Unadkat achieved the feat of becoming the first-ever Saurashtra bowler to reach 300 wickets in Ranji Trophy history. He is already a record holder for the most wickets by a pace bowler in a single Ranji Trophy season. In the 2019-20 season, he bagged 67 wickets in ten matches.

  1. Saurashtra’s Bowling Line-Up:

Saurashtra’s left-arm pace duo, Jaydev Unadkat and Chetan Sakariya, shared six wickets between them, bundling out Bengal for 174. Their bowlers operated on a probing line that teased the batsmen’s off-stump as they called the shots on Day 1 at Eden Gardens. Chiraj Jani, the third seamer, also chipped in with a wicket.

  1. Bengal’s Poor Performance:

Bengal skipper Manoj Tiwary requested a spicy pitch with pace and bounce to trouble Saurashtra’s batsmen who thrived on “low and slow” surfaces. Bengal lost their top-order early as they struggled against Saurashtra’s bowling line-up. Veteran crisis man Anustup Majumdar, Bengal’s leading run-getter this season, tried to salvage the innings but fell after losing his patience. Shahbaz Ahmed (69) and Abhishek Porel (50) were the only batsmen who stood up to Saurashtra’s bowlers.

  1. Saurashtra’s Batting Line-Up:

Saurashtra’s opening pair, Harvik Desai and Avi Barot, gave their team a solid start, putting up a 57-run partnership. However, Bengal’s Ishan Porel got rid of Barot (24) and Sheldon Jackson (1) in quick succession. The visitors ended Day 1 on 81/2, with Vishvaraj Jadeja (40*) and Arpit Vasavada (31*) at the crease.

  1. Saurashtra’s Previous Win:

Saurashtra had last lifted the trophy during the 2019-20 season, where they had defeated Bengal in the final.

Jaydev Unadkat’s achievement has added another feather to his cap in domestic cricket. He and his team are in the driver’s seat on Day 1 of the Ranji Trophy Final 2023. Bengal needs to put up a better performance in their bowling and batting to challenge Saurashtra in the upcoming days of the match. However, with the experienced players like Manoj Tiwary and Shahbaz Ahmed in their line-up, Bengal can still make a comeback in the match. The match is finely poised, and the next few days will decide which team emerges as the winner of the coveted Ranji Trophy. The fans and supporters of both teams are eagerly waiting to see who lifts the trophy this year!

Yellow.ai’s Dynamic Conversation Designer creates human-like conversation flows with effective designs, reducing development time by 50% and delivering increased productivity

Yellow.ai, a leading enterprise-grade Conversational AI platform, today announced the launch of its Dynamic Conversation Designer, revolutionizing the design process of chat and voice conversational workflows with Generative AI. With its user-friendly, no-code interface, enterprises can now create accurate designs in mere minutes, reducing time-to-market by 50%. The seamless integration between design and development workflows streamlines the creation of human-like conversational experiences, saving both time and costs in hiring and training new design talent.

Intuitive conversation design is fundamental to the success of conversational interfaces, but it is often a complex and time-consuming process. There is also a lack of standardization and best practices for designing natural and effective conversational experiences. Consequently, a multitude of conversational interfaces fails to deliver on user expectations, leading to substandard experiences and business results.

Yellow.ai’s Dynamic Conversation Designer addresses these challenges and redefines the way businesses create high-quality conversational experiences. Integrated within the company’s platform, it simplifies the design process with unique features like rich message content integration, voice effects control, sharing of designs, and instant previews of final conversations without switching workflows, making real-time collaboration a reality. As a result, it frees up time for developers and conversation designers to focus on more complex tasks, leading to improved productivity and consistency.

Yellow.ai strengthens its platform capabilities with Dynamic Conversation Designer to deliver faster time-to-market

Commenting on the launch, Raghu Ravinutala, CEO and Co-founder, Yellow.ai, said, Conversational flows that lack design thinking can frustrate customers, diminish expected ROI, and potentially damage the brand. Delivering increased productivity, our Dynamic Conversation Designer is directly in line with our vision of empowering businesses to deliver the most impactful interactions at scale and speed. Leveraging it, we were recently able to deliver a full-fledged chatbot implementation in two hours, a significant improvement from the previous requirement of at least two days for design and development in silos.”

With Dynamic Conversation Designer, enterprises can create engaging and personalized conversations with dynamic designs, enabling them to deliver enhanced customer experiences, drive more conversions, and boost sales. It fulfils the need for enterprises to deploy an end-to-end conversational automation platform wherein they don’t need to invest in siloed tools or extensive programs to train new resources.

Sheikh Abdullah Ali, Executive Director, Solutions ME, said, “The power of conversational design lies in its ability to create human-centered interactions that feel seamless, natural and intuitive in the digital world. Good conversation design should be engaging and prioritize the needs of the user. With accessible and scalable solutions like Yellow.ai’s Dynamic Conversation Designer, we believe that we can foster a deeper connection with customers and drive better business outcomes.”

“Also, by integrating generative AI with Yellow.ai’s proprietary insights engine and conversation designer, we aim to produce improved business results, including increased deflection rates, improved conversion rates, a highly personalized customer experience, and faster resolution times.” Ravinutala further added. Yellow.ai’s Dynamic Conversation Designer will soon be capable of providing suggestions to designers by sharing the next probable flow and alerting for detected errors, enabled by generative AI and a tighter integration with the Yellow.ai Marketplace that has pre-built industry templates, campaigns, and system integrations.
