Tata Group IPO and the ever-rising Indian business Behemoth

Tata Group intends to add one more company to its army of exchange-listed firms, which now stands at 17. With the initial public offering (IPO) of Tata Technologies on cards, the behemoth will add one more to this list.

On December 12, Tata Motors’ board of directors granted in-principle approval to investigate the prospect of a partial divestiture in its subsidiary Tata Technologies through an IPO route at a later date.

According to SEBI requirements, the business will make additional announcements of all important events relating to the IPO as and when needed. Warren Harris, MD & CEO of Tata Technologies, is a global product engineering and digital services organisation. It concentrates on four core industries: automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, and industrials.

No other Tata business has made its debut on the domestic bourses since TCS in 2004. According to Tata Motor’s 2022 annual report, it owns 74.43% of Tata Technologies.

Tata Motors cancelled a $360 million proposal to sell a 43% share in Tata Technologies to private equity firm Warburg Pincus in 2018, citing delays in obtaining regulatory permissions.

Because Tata Motors will sell its stock in the IPO, the revenues will assist the struggling automaker in recouping its losses. The company posted a net loss of 945 crore for the quarter July-September 2022, its seventh consecutive quarter of financial loss.

Jaguar Land Rover, a part of Tata Motors, has been suffering from semiconductor shortages, which have hampered its performance during the last five to six quarters. The company has reduced its FY23 projection due to a delay in the recovery of its British subsidiary JLR due to ongoing chip shortages.

Avatar: The Way of Water is a long waited sequel to Avatar. It is going to release this weekend, directed by James Cameron. Avatar was first released in 2009 that has become a blockbuster hit and has amazed us with the world of Pandora. It has also become the highest-grossing movie in history, grossing around 2.923 billion dollars worldwide.

“Avatar: The Way of Water” takes place more than a decade after the events of the first film, which had an open ending.

In this new sequel, we will get to know what will happen to the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their children), the problems they face, and everything they must do to stay safe.

Avatar: The Way of Water stars Sam Worthington, he will reprise his role as Jake Sully, who was part of the Avatar Program and left his human body to become a Na’vi, after falling in love with Neytiri. Zoe Saldana is also coming back as Neytiri, a senior member of the Na’vi and daughter of the clan’s former chief. She is Jake’s partner.

Sigourney Weaver played Dr. Grace Augustine in the first film, a character who died after supporting the Na’vi. Now, she is the one who gives life to Kiri, Jake, and Neytiri’s adopted teenage daughter.

Meanwhile, Stephen Lang played Colonel Miles Quaritch, who died in the final battle of Pandora. However, the human who led the colonization of these lands has been brought back to life by the RDA by becoming a recombinant, a Na’vi Avatar embedded with the memories of a soldier. He is the main antagonist of the film.

Kate Winslet will play Ronal, a Metkayina freediver and wife of Tonowari, and her character will be vital in the film. Many other stars who will be seen in this movie are Joel David Moore as Dr. Norm Spellman CCH Pounder as Mo’at, Jamie Flatters as Neteyam, Britain Dalton as Lo’ak, Trinity Bliss as Tuktirey, and many more.

Release Date and Running Time

“Avatar: The Way of Water” is going to release in theaters on 16th December 2022. The film has a running time of 190 minutes, or 3 hours and 10 minutes. This sequel seems to beat the previous sequel’s running time by 28 minutes.

Customers first received the AirPods Max two years ago, but the device now appears to be showing its age, with the second-generation AirPods Pro introducing a number of technological innovations that the AirPods Max lacks, such as Adaptive Transparency, IPX4-rated sweat and water resistance, skin-detect sensors, and the U1 chip for Precision Finding with Find My.

While it appears that the next-generation AirPods Max will include many of the capabilities listed above, there have been surprisingly few speculations concerning the gadget. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported in May 2021 that Apple was not actively working on second-generation AirPods Max, and previous speculation of a colour options refresh for the first-generation appears to have faded.

Gurman’s remark in October that the next edition of AirPods Max will incorporate USB-C and will be available “by 2024” was the most recent reference of a second-generation product. Aside from this single feature, we have no specific rumours from credible sources regarding what the new model might offer – but there is some evidence that could provide some fascinating clues about what to expect.

Gurman stated in 2020 that the AirPods Max, which was expected to be dubbed “AirPods Studio” at the time, had faced various development hurdles, including problems with the headband being too tight, resulting in multiple delays and a cutting back of capabilities. It appears likely that, after several more years of iterating on the aspects of the gadget that did not make it into the first edition, the second-generation AirPods Max could have some of the previously abandoned capabilities.

AirPods Max were expected to offer unprecedented customizability with adjustable headbands and earcups, similar to Apple Watch bands.

In the midst of these delays and development challenges, Bloomberg projected that Apple will abandon the concept of a changeable headband in order to speed up manufacturing. Rumors also suggested that the AirPods Max will be available in two models, one of which would be more cheap and geared toward athletics.

Leaker Jon Prosser consistently indicated that ‌AirPods Max‌ would come in a “sport-like form” for $350 and a “luxury variant” for $599. While Prosser’s $599 price estimate was close to the eventual $549 AirPods Max retail price, the $350 “sport variation” had yet to appear. Apple could potentially release this lower-end version of the AirPods Max in the future.

Since 2019, at least one new AirPods product has been released each year. Apple appears to wait two and a half to three years to upgrade each AirPods gadget, and each year since 2019, a separate AirPods product line has been updated. According to this pattern, AirPods Max should be the next AirPods gadget to be updated, maybe between June and November 2023.

Amazon Prime Video has dropped the new trailer of the 8-episode comedy series titled, ‘Half Pants Full Pants’. The new series has featured child actors Ashwanth Ashokkumar and Kartik Vijan along with Ashish Vidyarthi and Sonali Kulkarni 

The 8-episode series centers on childhood and stars child actors Ashwanth Ashokkumar and Kartik Vijan along with Ashish Vidyarthi and Sonali Kulkarni. Adapted from Anand Suspi’s eponymous book, Half Pants Full Pants is set in a small town in South India, before the age of the internet and mobiles, where the adventurous and ambitious 7-year-old boy Anand aka Dabba lives. He and his friend, the obedient and well-mannered Giddy, go on fun-filled adventures.

As Christmas is knocking on the door, the fans have started the countdown until the ‘Scream VI‘ going to hit with Ghostface. This film has ramped up the excitement of the horror community. Paramount has revealed the first teaser trailer of Scream VI. The teaser trailer for Scream 6 has arrived and promises all the chills for fans of the franchise.

The teaser doesn’t show much, except for the return of the murderous masked killer in New York. In the video, Sam and Tara are with their friends on the subway filled with some people in Ghostface disguises. The light flickers off and on, and one of them becomes the next target.

“You know, it’s nice because there’s still a protectiveness in the script and that’s something that the actors had naturally over her because obviously, we respect her and we want the best for her. She’s missed and thought of,” Ortega had earlier told ET.

Henry Cavill will not play the role of Superman anymore. When DC Studios co-head James Gunn started penning a new film that features Superman, things started to heat up at Warner Brothers. Gunn soon revealed that Henry Cavill will not play the role of Superman anymore.

Gunn has tweeted, “Peter & I have a DC slate ready to go, which we couldn’t be more over-the-moon about; we’ll be able to share some exciting information about our first projects at the beginning of the new year”.

He further added, “Among those on the slate is Superman. In the initial stages, our story will be focusing on an earlier part of Superman’s life, so the character will not be played by Henry Cavill. But we just had a great meeting with Henry and we’re big fans and we talked about a number of exciting possibilities to work together in the future”.

According to Variety, Recently, Henry Cavill has met with Gunn and his co-president Peter Safran and simultaneously it has also come to know that three of them are very much eager to find a project for Henry Cavill to work on in the comic book world.

Henry Cavill will not play the role of Superman anymore

On Instagram, Henry Cavill disclosed that he will not be going to take up the role of Superman again anymore.

Henry Cavill has written on Instagram, “It’s sad news, everyone. I will, after all, not be returning as Superman. After being told by the studio to announce my return back in October, prior to their hire, this news isn’t the easiest, but that’s life”.

He added, “I respect that James and Peter have a universe to build. I wish them and all involved with the new universe the best of luck, and the happiest of fortunes.”

James Gunn was working on this Superman venture project for some time. The plot of this upcoming movie is going to revolve around the protagonist’s existence as a cub reporter in the made-up metropolis of Metropolis. According to insiders, viewers will see him interacting with important personalities including his coworker Lois Lane.

Moreover, the upcoming Gunn film will not take the place of the previously revealed J.J. Abrams-Ta-Nehisi Coates Superman movie (which is still in active development).
