Apple recently launched the Mac Mini M2 2023 via press release and didn’t talk much about it except for a recorded video which critics believe was originally planned for 2022. Nevertheless, in 2023 this Mac Mini M2 has finally been released at a discounted price of $599 for everyone and starting at $499 for education.

Mac Mini M2 2023 is the best-selling Mini Computer

This is one of the rare occasions, Apple reduced the pricing of any product while still giving a brand-new M2 chipset inside and the latest macOS Ventura on top. So, already we know people loved the Mac Mini M1 and it took just days to make the new Mac Mini M2 a best-seller in the Amazon US in the Mini Computers category.

New Apple Mac Mini M2 2023 becomes the best-selling Mini Computer

The power of this tiny computer is soo much so that this Apple Mac Mini M2 is as fast as Apple’s $6000 Mac Pro, yes, this goes to show the power of the new M2 chipset over the predecessors. Now, add to the amazing software integration, most users will see no issues in doing everyday tasks and even medium to high-end workloads.

Seeing Apple’s trade-in value for a $52,000 Mac Pro is shockingly as low as $970, there will be no doubt in your mind why people are flocking towards this $599 price Mac Mini.

The Mac mini with M2 has an 8-core CPU with four performance cores and four efficiency cores, as well as a 10-core GPU. It can support up to 24GB of unified memory and has a bandwidth of 100GB/s and also can play up to two streams of 8K ProRes 422 video at 30 frames per second or up to 12 streams of 4K ProRes 422 video at 30 frames per second. Indeed a tiny beast!

UPCA to hire two specialists to avoid pitch disaster in IPL 2023

In the recent game of India vs New Zealand, visitors were restricted to 99/8 in the first innings and the hosts finished the target in just 19.5 overs. The batters from both sides struggled to hit a maximum. Indian captain Rohit Sharma stated that it was a shocker of the wicket and unfit for T20. The match was held at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

For this reason, the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) has decided to appoint two experts for Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium so that the pitch disaster isn’t repeated again during IPL.“We are going to appoint two specialists who will take care of the stadium. One will be an expert on the pitch and another will be a professional on the outfield. We are taking required permissions from other state associations to hire their services” said Ankit Chatterjee, the CEO of the UPCA

Earlier, Surendra Yadav was the curator of this pitch has been replaced by Sanjeev Agarwal who belongs from Gwalior. Lucknow has hosted the Indian Premier League in the past year. The 16th season of IPL is going to start on April 1 and follow the conventional home and away format. In the past three years, the regular format was dismissed due to Covid.

Though Lucknow’s pitch has hosted IPL matches BCCI confirmed that it’s the first time that Lucknow’s game is hosted there. This franchise practices a lot on the ground and will have a home advantage in the ground in IPL 2023.

“We want the playing conditions to be foolproof and we don’t want to take any chances for the IPL. Udanta Singh signs for FC Goa from Bengaluru FC on a multi-year contract

FC Goa is ready to strengthen its squad after finalizing the deal with Bengaluru FC Winger Udanta Singh for next season. The 26-year-old will join his new club next summer on a multi-year deal after being with Bengaluru FC for nine seasons.

Udanta Singh moves to FC Goa after a nine-year tenure with BFC

A close source of the developments said that,

“Udanta Singh Kumam will join FC Goa from Bengaluru FC on a multi-year deal in the summer window.”

Simon Grayson used him this season as an influential substitute who contributed two assists in twelve appearances. Goa was behind the winger for a long time now and is finally successful in having it accomplished. Udanta’s current contract with BFC stays till 2023 after he agreed to a three-year extension contract in the 2020-21 season.

More about the Udanta Singh

The 26-year-old Manipur player started his career with the Tata Football Academy and created an immediate impact in the U19 league, where he won the golden boot. He joined BFC in 2014, who were then the defending champions in the I-League

Udanta kept improving with each season in BFC, and the team transitioned from I-League to the ISL, and he went on to upgrade his attacking techniques.

The next season, BFC emerged as the ISL champions, where he shined in Miku’s absence through injury and registered five goals with three assists. That form has been phenomenal that he’s struggled to get back ever since, registering just six goals and three assists from 72 appearances across the ISL and AFC Cup.

He has played 39 games for the national team, where his only goal came in a 5-0 win against Chinese Taipei in the 2018 Intercontinental Cup.

His tenure in his new club will be interesting to witness.

0

Roma have confirmed the arrival of Diego Llorente on a loan deal until the end of the 22/23 season. He joins them from Leeds United, with the option to make the move permanent down the line.

Llorente has been signed as the replacement for Matias Vina, who signed for Bournemouth recently.

Diego Llorente officially joins Roma on a loan deal

“When the possibility of coming to Roma was presented to me I did not need to think about it twice,” Diego Llorente said.

“Coming here is a big step forward for me in my career and I want to make the most of this opportunity.

“Rome is beautiful, an incredible city, and I think it is almost impossible to find a better place to play football.

“The club is fighting to achieve great things on all fronts this season and I am ready to make my contribution towards that.”

Diego Llorente made the move to Elland Road in 2020 from Real Sociedad. Although he had a bright start to life with Leeds, his contribution eventually started to reduce progressively. The Spaniard has been given the number 14 shirt by the Giallorossi. And with the second half of the season remaining, there will be ample opportunities for him to impress and help build upon their current sixth place in the team.

Marcel Sabitzer joins Manchester United on loan

0

Marcel Sabitzer is all set to join Manchester United on a loan deal with no option to buy from Bayern Munich. The midfielder immediately accepted the proposal from the Premier League club, and has decided to take on a new challenge for the second half of the season.

He has completed the medical for the move and has arrived in Manchester. As things stand, he is expected to return to Bayern at the end of his loan spell.

Marcel Sabitzer joins Manchester United on loan

The former RB Leipzig captain will be the replacement for Christian Eriksen for the second half of the campaign. The Dane is ruled out for most of the remainder of the season with an ankle injury, which is one of the reasons why the Red Devils have decided to go in for him.

The documents are currently being prepared for the move to go through, and Erik Ten Hag personally wanted him to join.

This season, Sabitzer has racked up 1009 minutes, making 24 appearances for Bayern Munich across all competitions. He has been used very sparingly by Julian Nagelsmann, and has a chance to gain more time on the pitch at Old Trafford.

Marcel Sabitzer has earned 68 international caps for the Austrian national team, scoring 12 goals so far. His ability to lead from the heart of the park will also prove to be very useful for the team during the important latter half of the season.

Nottingham Forest announce 3 new signings on Deadline Day

0

Nottingham Forest agreed three new signings on Deadline Day to make it 27 new players during the 22/23 season. Yesterday, they confirmed the arrival of Keylor Navas from PSG on a loan deal alongside transfers for Jonjo Shelvey from Newcastle and Felipe from Atletico Madrid.

Three-time Champions League winner Navas has joined the club on a loan deal until the end of the season to provide cover for the injured Dean Henderson. The Costa Rican struggled for game time with Gianluigi Donnarumma emerging as the new number one. And now, he has made the move to England in search of more game time.

Nottingham Forest close 22/23 with 27 new signings agreed

Felipe signed for the Tricky Trees after weeks of negotiations, and has finally been confirmed as a new player for them. He has signed a contract with the Premier League club until June 2024.

“It was a dream of mine to play in the Premier League and I’m really excited to be part of this wonderful, fast-growing club,” Felipe told Nottingham Forest’s official website.

After weeks and weeks of persistence, Chelsea have signed Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for a British record fee. The Argentine will arrive for a fee worth €121 million, the largest to have ever been paid in the Premier League.

Fernandez has agreed an eight and a half year long contract with Chelsea, similar to Mykhaylo Mudryk and the other Chelsea signings that arrived under Todd Boehly. And without a doubt, the Blues have become record spenders in the January transfer window with their merciless new approach to recruitment.

Enzo Fernandez finally signs for Chelsea with deal agreed

The payment structure discussed with the Portuguese club involves six instalments. The up-front fee is worth £40 million, and the remainder will be paid down the line over the course of his contract.

Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali were both involved in the deal, and managed to pull it off in a crazy final 24 hours of the January transfer window. The player has completed his medical tests and will soon be announced as a new Chelsea player.

Enzo Fernandez’s former club, River Plate, are entitled to a fee worth £26.7 million due to the sell-on clause in the player’s contract. The youngster joined Benfica only in June 2022. But, six months and a World Cup trophy later, he has become a record signing for the English top flight.

Chelsea had to make a number of intense decisions during the final 24 hours of the transfer window. They didn’t go all-in for Moises Caicedo, rejected a bid for Connor Gallagher from Everton and also decided to sell Jorginho to Arsenal.

With their vice captain gone, the midfield will need a new dictator and Fernandez could be the man to pull the strings after the Italian regista. Fernandez could make a cameo on Friday against Fulham and get more time against West Ham United on February 11.
