Robert Lewandowski banned for 3 games ahead of Atletico Madrid match

0

Barcelona’s appeal to overturn the three-match ban handed to Robert Lewandowski has been rejected. The striker was sent off during the game against Osasuna for two yellow cards in the first half.

That would normally mean that the player wouldn’t be available for the following game. But, Lewandowski made a gesture pointing to his nose and then the referee, suggesting that he was ‘on something’ while he was coming off.

Robert Lewandowski to face three-match ban

Upon investigation, the striker was allowed to feature in their game against Espanyol, despite protests. During the derby against Espanyol, their president and board refused to attend the fiery game – which ended in a draw.

But now, the Tribunal Administrativo del Deporte has asserted that Robert Lewandowski must serve a three-match ban for his actions.

The Poland international defended himself by saying that the action was directed at Barcelona manager Xavi, as part of a previous conversation. However, that hasn’t helped his case, as he will be missing the next three La Liga games against Atletico Madrid, Getafe, and Girona.

The Catalonian side have the option to file yet another appeal for the ban to be served at a later date. But, that decision rests on club president Joan Laporta as of now.

ASUS ROG Flow X13: The Multipurpose Gaming Laptop with Ryzen 9 Zen 4 APU and RTX 4070

0

A powerful gaming laptop immediately comes to mind when one hears the name “ROG.” With the new ROG FLOW X13, Asus has made a modest departure from its regular strategy in an effort to employ a novel strategy. This 2-in-1 convertible can be used as a tablet to doodle on in addition to throttling demanding games.

To sweeten the deal, Asus added an additional graphics dock and AMD’s top-tier Ryzen 9 chipset. Can the FLOW X13 meet the expectations given its high price tag, even though the specifications on paper appear to be incredible?

ROG

Specifications

A 75 Wh battery is packed within a 299 x 212 x 16.7 mm chassis of the ROG Flow X13 (2023). Regardless of the configuration, the ROG Flow X13 weighs 1.4 kg overall. The computer can be customized with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5-6400 RAM, a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a 13.4-inch display that runs at 2.5K with a 165 Hz refresh rate, and 3 ms response times, according to ASUS.

A different option is the ROG Flow X13 (2023), which will come with an FHD screen that outputs at 120 Hz, has 7 ms reaction times, and has 100% sRGB color gamut coverage. The ROG Flow X13 (2023) should be noted as having only one SO-DIMM slot and half of its RAM soldered to the motherboard. As of right now, neither the price nor the full list of places where the ROG Flow X13 (2023) will be sold has been verified by ASUS.

ASUS ROG Flow X13: The Multipurpose Gaming Laptop with

It contains a Micro SD Card Reader (SD 4.0) and the ROG XG Mobile interface in addition to a 3.5 mm combo connection and HDMI 2.1b. Additionally, it provides USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery, and a USB 4.0 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery. It also provides speakers with Smart Amp Technology.

Conclusion

The Asus ROG FLOW X13 is a multifunctional laptop that serves a range of consumers.  Most customers who seek a 2-in-1 combo will find it to be the perfect bundle thanks to the strong CPU, punchy 4K panel, sturdy construction, and good audio quality. But there are several areas where the Asus laptop fails, such as the battery life, the weak graphics card, and the sloppy keyboard. Furthermore, playing games prevents you from fully utilising the 4K panel; you must settle for a resolution of 1080p.

The notebook’s AMD Ryzen CPU undoubtedly contributes to its lightning-fast performance, but the machine’s GPU’s limitations make one wonder of whether it is fit for avid gamers. It’s strong gaming combined with the exclusive eGPU dock, but it costs a lot of money. There are better alternatives on the market for individuals looking for laptops that are designed primarily for gaming. However, this ROG laptop is a good choice if you’re a creative worker or a casual gamer seeking a small, well-designed convertible.

Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea?: Talks to be held for Arsenal target in next 24h

0

Mykhaylo Mudryk seems set for a move to Arsenal. But, if the transfer window has taught us anything over the past year – it is that nothing is certain until the player is holding up the shirt of their new club.

So, while Mudryk is quite public about his appreciation for Arsenal, a move to the other side of London could be on the cards instead. Chelsea are keeping tabs on the Shakhtar Donetsk man, and are waiting to pounce in case his move to Arsenal collapses.

Chelsea interested in signing Mykhaylo Mudryk in January

Shakhtar Donetsk director Darijo Srna is expected to be at Stamford Bridge this week for Chelsea’s game against Manchester City. The Blues will discuss Mudryk in the coming day, but a move to North London remains his priority.

The Gunners had made an opening offer for the forward, which was promptly rejected. And they have been contemplating going back for him, despite having an agreement on personal terms.

Despite having a wealth of options out wide – such as Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech, Chelsea consider Mykhaylo Mudryk to be the perfect winger for their plans. As a result, they are eager to make a move if there is an opportunity.

For Todd Boehly, the priority in the transfer market remains to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica. But, they haven’t been able to agree a deal with the Portuguese side just yet.

Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant to undergo double surgery after his car accident

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant is set to go under double surgery after he met with a car accident a few days ago. He will be out of the action for about nine months. BCCI has airlifted Rishabh Pant to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital this Wednesday. He will be going to London for the surgery but the date isn’t decided. He has to recover from the superficial wounds and under Dinshaw Pardiwala’s observation his ligament treatment will continue.

“Rishabh was brought to Mumbai to avoid too much attention on him. He needs rest and it was not possible in Dehradun. Here, he will be in high security and only family members can meet him. As he recovers from the wounds, the doctors will decide the course of action for his ligament injury”– a senior BCCI official said

Some reports suggested that he will be treated in Mumbai under Dr. Pardiwala and the board doesn’t want to take any risk since the ICC World Cup is in October.

“Once the doctors seem he is fit to travel, he will be sent to London for surgery. We still don’t know how long it will take him to recover. Once the swelling subsides, Dr Pardiwala and his team will determine the treatment path. As things stand, Rishabh will need surgery on both his knee and ankle. That will anyway keep him out for close to nine months,” the official told

Pant has undergone an MRI in Dehradun on his brain and spinal cord but due to swelling and pain and the doctors couldn’t do an MRI on his knee and ankle. The intensity of the injury will be known only when the swelling reduces a bit. As per the preliminary tests, he will be needing an injury for both the ankle and knee. The double surgery can take longer and once the damage is determined, the doctors can determine the recovery time.
