An industry expert pointed out that Apple has consistently filed patents concerning rings over years hinting at potential advancements for commercial utility in the near future.

The Smart Ring signifies a device equipped with internal sensors, an NFC controller, and features like heart rate monitoring and contactless payments. It has attracted attention as a health-focused gadget providing comfort for usage compared to smartwatches while also collecting biometric data.

Anticipated Launch Timeline, for Samsung Galaxy Ring

Despite Samsung suggesting a release of its ring the precise launch date remains undisclosed. According to reports the Galaxy Ring is set to make its debut at the ‘Unpacked’ event, in the part of July along, with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. According to speculation, the upcoming smart ring from Samsung will feature ECG functionality and ‘blood flow measurement’.

Year Mahindra revealed their pickup as the Global Pickup Concept. Recently they have trademarked ‘Scorpio X,’ which is likely to be the name for the Scorpio N-based pickup truck. Along with Scorpio X trademarks have been filed for Scorpio K, Scorpio L, Scorpio M, and Scorpio Z; however, only Scorpio X has received approval so far.

The anticipated launch of the pickup is set for 2025. It will be available not just domestically but also in international markets where Mahindra already has a strong presence. Testing of the Mahindra Scorpio X pickup has already begun with sightings on roads. In countries like South Africa, where Mahindra offers pickups like Karoo, Bolero, and Pik Up (in the cab and double cab versions) pickups are commonly known as ‘Bakkies.’

The introduction of the Mahindra Scorpio X pickup will extend to regions such as Australia, Africa the Middle East, North Africa, and SCA (South and Central Asia). Mahindra also plans to introduce the Scorpio X, in ASEAN markets at a stage.

The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio X pickup truck, inspired by the design of the Scorpio N SUV will be constructed on a platform developed at Mahindras India Design Studio (MIDS). This fresh platform is expected to improve durability and flexibility and can accommodate powertrain options, including variants.

In comparison to the Scorpio N SUV, the Mahindra Scorpio X pickup showcases a front appearance with distinctive features like a roof-mounted LED light bar, blacked-out grille, prominent bumper, and front and rear winches. The side view includes a snorkel, stylish alloy wheels, side steps, and roof rails. The rear design echoes that of the front. The Mahindra Scorpio X will come equipped with an array of premium features such, as Level 2 ADAS technology, a display, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging capability, driver drowsiness detection system 5G connectivity support, front side and curtain airbags for safety measures, and trailer sway mitigation feature.

It is anticipated that the Mahindra Scorpio X pickup will offer engine choices as those found in the Scorpio N SUV model. This includes a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that generates 200 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque paired with either a 6-speed transmission or 380 Nm with the 6-speed transmission.

The 2.2 liter diesel engine will come in two versions, one, with 130 horsepower and 300 Nm torque and another with 172 horsepower and either 370 Nm or 400 Nm. The Scorpio X model will feature four-wheel drive along, with terrain modes.

List of Withdrawn Players and Their Replacements in Women’s Premier League 2024

England’s Lauren Bell from UP Warriorz was replaced by unsold prospect in the WPL 2024 Auction, Chamari Athapaththu. Lauren Bell chose to withdraw in order to play the upcoming tour of New Zealand, slated to begin on March 19.

Heather Knight from RCB will also miss the season due to the same reason and she will be replaced by South Africa’s Nadine de Klerk.

Other prominent absentees are Australian bowling-all-arounder Kim Garth and former West Indian all-arounder Deandra Dottin of Gujarat Giants who’ve also pulled out following the previous season.

All the matches will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi, with the latter to host the knockout stages.

AIFF President Approach ACB Unit for Investigation into Delhi Premier League Match Fixing Probe

All India Football Federation (AIFF) sent an email to the Delhi Soccer Association asking for an explanation about what happened during Monday’s match in the Delhi Premier League.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Officials held an emergency meeting on Tuesday led by AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey. Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) President Anuj Gupta was also summoned to get details of the incident and put forward the host association’s stance on the issue.

Apprehensions about match-fixing and betting emerged during a Delhi league match. In a match between Ahbab FC and Rangera FC, Ahbab FC were leading 4-0 but conceded two doubtful own goals late in the game as Ahbab FC ultimately won the match 4-2. The video footage of these own goals were circulated widely led by Delhi FC and Minerva Punjab FC Owner Ranjit Bajaj, prompting the AIFF to take action.

AIFF’s Wide-Ranging Investigation: Uncovering Irregularities Beyond Delhi Premier League

Kalyan Chaubey cleared his thoughts on how AIFF is not curtailing their investigation on just Monday’s match but on several matches questioning the complete league.

“Our investigation will not be limited to Delhi. We have reasons to believe through evidences, such practice in other cities too, and will form a wider network for our investigations,” Chaubey said in a release from the AIFF.

“We are not limiting our investigation to one match here. Several incremental shreds of evidence have been found which cast serious doubts on the entire league,” Kalyan Chaubey told ANI.

AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey further declared that he would hold a meeting with the Joint Commissioner of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau to get the issue resolved.

Kalyan Chaubey also added that he will be meeting the Anti-Corruption Bureau to help them with the investigation to get to the end of this scam.

“I will be meeting the Joint Commissioner of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau to help us investigate it thoroughly and to get to the root of this syndicate. DSA has been advised to file an FIR immediately. Our investigation will not be limited to Delhi. We have reasons to believe through pieces of evidence, such practice in other cities too, and will form a wider network for our investigations,” Chaubey added.

Delhi Soccer Association Takes Action Against Alleged Match Fixing Scandal

Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) President Anuj Gupta asserted that he informed about the issue to the Delhi Police ad feels that the match officials (referees) are involved in this matter too.

“This is so shocking that such an incident happened in our league and we are on it for investigation and I informed the Delhi Police in this matter. I am looking for both clubs’ details along with players’ details and have to rectify whether they belong to Delhi or not and I feel referees are also involved in this,” Gupta said.

Anuj Gupta said that the Emergency Executive of Football Delhi suspended Ahbab FC with immediate effect until further notice. Delhi Premier League Sub Committee Chairman Rizwan Ul Haq will also be served with a show cause notice.

Gupta said a complaint will be filed do Delhi Police on Wednesday by Football Delhi to investigate any “match fixing” in Delhi Premier League.

“Numerous allegations of unsporting behavior have been placed on our association for the recently concluded Delhi Premier League 2023/24,” Gupta said in a statement.

Gupta assured that strict measures will be taken against such vile incidents for the growth of football in Delhi.

“As the governing body of football in the national capital, we must take a firm stance against the allegations… strict measures against any such incidents are vital for the development of football in Delhi.”
