Parvati Paul Rao: Name Details at a Glance

The Meaning Behind Parvati Paul Rao

The name Parvati holds deep spiritual and cultural significance in Hindu mythology. Derived from the Sanskrit word “Parvata” (mountain), it translates to “Daughter of the Mountains.” Goddess Parvati is revered as the divine consort of Lord Shiva and mother to Lord Ganesha and Lord Kartikeya, representing Shakti—the ultimate feminine power.

The name embodies qualities of strength, compassion, emotional balance, grace, and serenity. In choosing this name, Rajkummar and Patralekhaa have blessed their daughter with a title that combines ancient tradition with timeless values.

What makes the name even more special is the thoughtful inclusion of both parents’ surnames. “Paul” honors Patralekhaa’s family heritage, while “Rao” represents Rajkummar’s lineage, creating a beautiful modern tribute to both families.

Bollywood Showers Love on Baby Parvati

The announcement instantly became one of the most talked-about celebrity moments, with the film fraternity pouring love into the comments section. Vicky Kaushal, who recently became a father himself, dropped heart emojis alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sonam Kapoor.

Actress Aahana Kumra penned a warm message: “Congratulations @patralekhaa and @rajkummar_rao and welcome little Parvati.” The post quickly garnered millions of likes and thousands of comments from fans celebrating the couple’s journey into parenthood.

A Love Story That Culminated in Parenthood

Rajkummar Rao first spotted Patralekhaa in a television commercial and was immediately smitten. His wish to meet her came true in 2014 when they collaborated on Hansal Mehta’s critically acclaimed drama CityLights. During filming, friendship blossomed into romance.

After years of dating, Rajkummar proposed to Patralekhaa in October 2021, and the couple tied the knot on November 15, 2021, in an intimate ceremony in Chandigarh surrounded by close family and friends.

Exactly four years later, on their wedding anniversary, they received their greatest gift—baby Parvati. Announcing her birth, the couple had written: “We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl. The greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary.”
