BLACKPINK Just Hit 10 Years — Now Three Members Are Going Solo Again

Ten years in, BLACKPINK isn’t slowing down — it’s splitting into four different directions at once. Fresh off their 10th anniversary and a world tour, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa are all lining up individual releases within weeks of each other, proving the group’s “one team, four brands” strategy is alive and thriving.

BLACKPINK : The Solo Lineup

What Each Artist Is Bringing

Jennie’s Fallen Angel leans into a more restrained, alternative-pop sound than her earlier solo work — and its advance single, “Less Than a Lover,” topped iTunes charts in 27 regions. Jisoo follows with “Click,” her first solo single since 2025’s Amortage, an EP that already produced a Billboard-charting hit in “Earthquake.” Lisa’s upcoming Press Play looks to be her most personal project yet, weaving in Thai cultural elements through her lead single “SaWaDiKa” — a nod to the Thai greeting “sawasdee ka.”

Why This Matters

This isn’t the group’s first rodeo with parallel solo eras — it echoes their 2024 wave that included Lisa’s “Rockstar,” Jennie’s “Mantra,” Rosé’s “APT.” with Bruno Mars, and Jisoo’s “Earthquake.” That strategy has kept BLACKPINK commercially dominant even during group hiatuses, letting each member build a distinct global fanbase. Notably, Rosé is the only member who hasn’t announced 2026 solo plans yet — something BLINKs are watching closely.
