Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 03 launches on Thursday, April 2 at 9AM PT across all platforms, bringing nine new and returning Multiplayer Maps, new Zombies content, a massive new Verdansk Point of Interest, six new weapons, and much more.

What’s New Across Every Mode

Mode	Key Addition
Multiplayer	Maps: Beacon, Abyss, Plaza, Gridlock remasters + more
Zombies	Ashwood Survival Map, Zombie Battle mode, Totenreich mid-season
Warzone	New Launch Pad POI in Verdansk, Wall Jump + Grappling Hook
Endgame	Goes Free to Play for limited time, Operation Poison Pill
New Weapons	MK35 ISR AR, VST SMG, Strider 300 Sniper, 1911 Pistol, Katana

Multiplayer and Warzone Highlights

New maps Beacon and Abyss arrive at launch — Beacon drops players into a frozen Arctic facility, while Abyss is a tight submarine map with narrow corridors and rope ascenders for vertical play. Beloved fan favourites Plaza (first seen in Black Ops 2) and Gridlock (Black Ops 4) return as beautifully remastered versions with Black Ops 7’s enhanced movement system.

In Warzone, the new Launch Pad POI arrives in Verdansk’s southern hills, featuring a massive complex with a Control Tower, Hangar, Gantry, and Depot — and Wall Jumping and the Grappling Hook are being introduced into Battle Royale and Resurgence for the first time.

Zombies Gets a New Competitive Mode

Zombie Battle is a brand-new free-for-all competitive Zombies mode where up to four players share the same space while fighting their own individual hordes — the last player standing wins. Mid-season also brings Totenreich, a brand-new round-based Zombies map set in a Norwegian fishing town trapped in the Dark Aether.

As a bonus, players who log into Black Ops 7 before April 13 can claim the “Cast Off Chaos” Bundle as a free gift. Read the full breakdown on the official Call of Duty website and follow all gaming news at TechnoSports.
