Bigg Boss 20: Who is Amrapali Dubey? Meet Bhojpuri actress who made buzz for alleged relationship with Nirahua

Amrapali Dubey has spent years dominating Bhojpuri cinema, but her name has been trending for a very different reason lately — a fiery talk-show moment addressing her rumored bond with co-star Nirahua. As speculation swirls around her potential Bigg Boss 20 entry, here’s a deep dive into who she really is.

Bigg Boss 20: Overview

1. Her Journey From TV to Bhojpuri Stardom

Born on January 11, 1987, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, Amrapali later moved to Mumbai and began her career in Hindi television around 2009, working across family dramas before pivoting fully into Bhojpuri cinema — a shift that would define her career.

2. The Film That Made Her a Star

Her breakout came with Nirahua Hindustani in 2014, a film that cemented her status as one of the industry’s most bankable leading ladies and kicked off a long-running on-screen partnership with Nirahua.

3. Why Fans Call Her the “YouTube Queen”

Her films and music videos routinely rack up massive numbers online, earning her the nickname “YouTube Queen” and cementing her spot as one of Bhojpuri cinema’s highest-paid actresses.

4. The Nirahua Relationship Controversy

Her closeness with co-star Nirahua has fueled years of dating rumors. Things boiled over on the talk show Bhojpuri Bawaal, when host Shubhankar Mishra pressed her on the nature of their bond — and she fired back, warning him to choose his words carefully while insisting their relationship is a close friendship, nothing more.

5. The Kajal Raghwani Allegations

The rumor mill escalated further when actress Kajal Raghwani alleged during an Instagram Live that Amrapali and Nirahua spent excessive time together in vanity vans on set, even expressing sympathy for Nirahua’s wife — claims Amrapali has denied.

6. Her Views on Marriage and Motherhood

Away from the controversy, Amrapali has been refreshingly candid about her personal life, stating she isn’t interested in an arranged marriage and would rather prioritize motherhood on her own terms.

Bhojpuri cinema itself has grown into a massive regional powerhouse over the decades, much like the broader evolution of Bhojpuri cinema as an industry. For more Bigg Boss 20 updates and reality TV buzz, check out Technosports for trending entertainment coverage.
