Some cameos are about ratings. This one was about family. Salman Khan walked into the Alliance house not for a big reveal or a promotional push, but simply to be there for his younger brother Sohail Khan, who’s now reached the finale week of the reality competition.
What followed was a mix of raw emotion and classic Salman humor — the kind that instantly made the appearance more than just a routine celebrity walk-in.
Alliance : Key Moments From Salman’s Visit
| Moment | What Happened |
|---|---|
| Reason for visit | Salman entered to support Sohail ahead of the finale week |
| Emotional beat | Salman and Sohail shared a heartfelt moment before Salman greeted other contestants |
| Sohail’s confession | Sohail admitted he “freaked out” and kicked the storeroom door out of frustration |
| Salman’s joke | Quipped that “Riteish Deshmukh ki naukri khatre mein lag rahi hai” (Riteish Deshmukh’s job is in danger) |
The joke, playful as it was, landed because of context — Salman and Riteish Deshmukh share a genuinely close bond off-screen, with Salman having made a cameo in Riteish’s directorial venture Raja Shivaji after Riteish personally approached him for it. So the “job in danger” line wasn’t a dig at Riteish’s hosting turf on Lock Upp 2 — it was Salman being Salman, needling a friend affectionately while cheering for his brother.
Sohail’s Journey On Alliance
Sohail Khan’s run on Alliance has generated steady buzz through the season, especially after his former wife Seema Sajdeh also appeared on the show at one point. With Sohail now securing his spot in the finale week, Salman’s visit reads as a morale boost timed right before the biggest stretch of the competition.
Alliance, hosted by actor-filmmaker Kunal Kemmu, is set to hold its grand finale on August 7, 2026.
What’s Next For Salman Khan
Away from the show, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of Maatrubhumi and is also expected to return as host of Bigg Boss 20 — keeping his 2026 calendar packed on both the film and television front.
