Quick Picks by Mood

Not every session calls for the same energy. Here’s the fastest way to find your fit:

Want something free? Start with Rainbow Six: Siege — 10/10 rated, free to play, and the Solid Snake season content in 2026 is the best reason to reinstall or try it fresh.

Only two players? Split Fiction and It Takes Two are the gold standard — both designed from the ground up for exactly two people, and Split Fiction requires only one purchase with Friend’s Pass.

Want chaos? Schedule 1’s drug empire sim is legitimately funny in co-op — just know that all progress lives on the host’s save file, so commit to a crew.

Want endless replayability? Risk of Rain 2 and Deep Rock Galactic have both been running for years with regular updates, meaning there’s always something new regardless of when you load in.

Want something actually hard? Elden Ring: Nightreign adds co-op to FromSoftware’s Souls formula with a roguelite structure — three in-game days to gear up before a mandatory boss. It’s punishing, tight, and completely worth it.
