Why Awarapan Is Returning to Cinemas?

Though Awarapan had only a modest box office run back in 2007, it has since grown into a beloved cult favourite, largely thanks to its emotional storytelling and unforgettable soundtrack. A source close to the makers explained that the film “continues to hold strong recall value due to the casting, subject, emotional and massy moments and most importantly, the timeless music score,” making it the perfect nostalgia trip ahead of the sequel’s release. The original film, directed by Mohit Suri, remains a defining chapter in Emraan Hashmi’s filmography.
