Per the reports, the TVA watches two worlds on a collision course. Both fire missiles at each other, but in the MCU the only known way to stop an incursion is to destroy one planet before time runs out. The scene cuts away before revealing which world survives, then ramps up as more incursions begin, until the count hits 3,000.

Why the Trailers Suddenly Make Sense?

This leak makes earlier Doomsday footage look very different:

• Trailer one: Charles Xavier gazes at a burning sky beside the rubble of his school.
• Second special look: Magneto and Cyclops watch their planet fall apart.
• The chess teaser: Magneto and Professor X now seem to be calmly playing chess while waiting out the end of the world.

Cyclops, though, doesn’t look ready to quit. He uses his powers to fight back, which raises a fun question: could his blast be what destroys the other universe?
