The spotlight was firmly on Aryan Khan as Bollywood’s most anticipated directorial debut finally took center stage. Quick Facts About Aryan Khan’s Debut

The Emotional Father-Son Moment

Shah Rukh Khan couldn’t hide his emotions as he welcomed Aryan Khan on stage, describing it as his son’s “first step” in direction. The superstar’s heartfelt plea to audiences was particularly moving: “Give him 150% of the love you have given me, and in those applause, keep a little blessing, a little prayer too.”

Aryan Khan himself admitted to feeling nervous about his media debut, sharing that he had been “practicing his speech for two to three nights continuously” before the event. This vulnerability only endeared him more to the audience, proving that behind the Khan legacy lies genuine humility.

Beyond Direction: Aryan’s Expanding Empire

While Aryan Khan steps into filmmaking, his entrepreneurial ventures continue to flourish. In August 2025, he co-founded D’Yavol Añejo, a premium tequila venture with Radico Khaitan and Shah Rukh Khan, planning a global launch by December. This business acumen, combined with his creative pursuits, positions him as a multifaceted industry player.

The young director has also continued his voice work, dubbing Simba in the Hindi version of Mufasa: The Lion King (2024), joining his father and younger brother AbRam in the cast.

What Makes “The Ba***ds of Bollywood” Special

Aryan Khan’s directorial vision promises something fresh for Indian audiences. As he explained in his official statement: “With The Ba***ds of Bollywood, I wanted to build a world that feels alive, a mix of glitz and grit, where ambition shines, egos clash, and nothing is ever as it seems.”

The Netflix series represents more than just another star kid’s debut—it’s a carefully crafted narrative that aims to redefine how we see Bollywood’s behind-the-scenes reality.
