This is THE Arjun Ashokan new movie everyone’s buzzing about! Directed by debutant Adhvaith Nayar, this wrestling action-comedy explores Kochi’s underground scene. Arjun teams with Roshan Mathew as wrestling fanatics organizing “Friday Fight Night” against societal opposition.

The legendary Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio makes their Malayalam debut, and rumors suggest a Mammootty cameo! With distribution by Dharma Productions and Mythri Movie Makers, this could be Arjun’s biggest commercial success yet.

2. Bro Code (2026 – Pre-Production)

Headlining this ethical thriller alongside Tamil star SJ Suryah and Ravi Mohan, Arjun tackles questions about honesty and morality. The tagline “Honesty might…” (deliberately left incomplete in promotions) hints at moral dilemmas that challenge conventional right-and-wrong thinking.

This multi-lingual project will stream on Netflix’s Pandigai 2026 lineup after theatrical release, expanding Arjun’s reach to global streaming audiences. It marks his entry into pan-Indian thriller territory—a smart career move following his horror-comedy success.

3. Antappan Weds Ancy (Pre-Production)

This wedding-themed romantic comedy promises laughs and family drama. The quirky title suggests intercultural marriage hurdles, perfect for Arjun’s comic timing honed in Bromance.

4. Disco (Pre-Production)

Details are scarce, but the title evokes nightlife or youth culture. Arjun’s track record with films like June and B.Tech positions him well for contemporary Malayalam storytelling.

5. Ennittu Avasanam (Currently Filming)

Translating to “And Finally,” this drama currently in production could be a thriller or intimate character study. Arjun previously earned acclaim in Thalavara (7.0 IMDb) and Bramayugam (7.7 IMDb).

6. Kadhal Reset Repeat (Post-Production)

In post-production, this romance uses tech-inspired metaphors exploring modern relationships through a digital lens. Arjun delivered nuanced romantic performances in Pranaya Vilasam (2023), proving his emotional range.

7. Thattum Vellattam (Pre-Production)

Translating to “beating water,” this poetic title could reference coastal life or metaphorical struggles. It remains the most enigmatic project with no cast announcements yet.

Why Arjun Ashokan’s 2026 Matters

With seven films across genres, Arjun represents Malayalam cinema’s new generation—balancing commercial success with artistic credibility. His 2025 releases showcased impressive range, while Thalavara earned acclaim for sensitively portraying a character with vitiligo. He consistently chooses scripts challenging Kerala’s social norms, from appearance-based discrimination to toxic masculinity, making him more than just another commercial star.
