Apple’s WWDC 2024 is coming close, and the company has now confirmed when its keynote event will take place. WWDC this year is expected to be one of the biggest ever, with demonstrations learning about new software upgrades and AI features Apple has been cooking up over the past few years.

More About the Apple WWDC 2024

Apple hasn’t teased any specific AI news, though CEO Tim Cook has openly discussed Apple’s strategy over the past year. That’s not too unexpected considering the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 is just around the corner.

Apple WWDC for 2024 will be hosted from June 10 to June 14. The big keynote is on Monday, June 10 @ 10:00 AM PT. The press release, delivered to media outlets by email, was accompanied by an invite to watch the live keynote on Apple’s site; but the latter is likely designed as a catch-all since videos stream from Apple’s YouTube page.

At the Apple WWDC 2024 keynote, we will get a peek at what iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 updates will bring along with some watchOS updates and the next macOS version for their line of devices. Apple is also expected to detail its AI work, something it has already done publicly. GenAI features, according to reports will come from in-house development and are expected to be part of the iPhone 16 series. The update to arrive as iOS 18, is predicted to be the most important for years with fresh home screen customizations and a new Siri variant.

Apple is also said to have been in talks with OpenAI and Google early this year about a deal to run their AI services on iPhones. This would also serve as further proof that Apple is getting serious about integrating cutting-edge AI into its ecosystem. The countdown to WWDC 2024 and its expected myriad of Apple innovations is building up, promising a tantalizing teaser into what the future holds for its technology as well as software development.
