Apple to soon begin the production of its iPhone SE

There have been numerous rumors about the third generation of the iPhone SE. Apple is expected to release this smaller, more affordable iPhone in the first quarter of 2022, according to most rumors. The rumors also allude to some of the iPhone SE 3’s anticipated specifications and features. Apple will release two iPhone SE 3 models: a standard iPhone SE 3 and an iPhone SE 3 Plus with more RAM and a larger display.

Furthermore, leaks have revealed that the device will soon enter the trial production phase. Furthermore, leaks suggest that component vendors are preparing to ship necessary parts for the iPhone SE’s production.

A 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD and a physical fingerprint Home button will be included in the next iPhone SE. The single-camera configuration with 12 megapixels will remain on the back. It will only improve the photo effect by changing the sensor.

Furthermore, the A15 Bionic processor will be combined with an external X60M 5G baseband chip in this smartphone. 3GB of RAM would be paired with the chipset. The fingerprint sensor would be built into the Home Button itself.

The iPhone SE is also reported to have a 5G connection, making it more future-proof. Unfortunately, numerous rumors claim that the iPhone SE 3 will not feature significant design improvements. The upcoming iPhone SE will instead resemble the current-generation iPhone SE, which already resembles the older iPhone 8.

In terms of pricing, it’s been speculated that Apple could set the prices aggressively to appeal to the public. As a result, the iPhone SE 3 models might cost anywhere from $269 (about Rs 20,400) to $399 (around Rs 30,000) at launch.

Furthermore, according to a Reuters article quoting experts at JP Morgan Chase Bank in the United States, the incoming iPhone SE 3 series might entice 1.4 billion Android users and 300 million iPhone users with previous-generation models.

The chip shortage, on the other hand, is expected to last until 2022. Apple reduced the production capacity of the iPad and the old iPhone to deal with supply chain issues. Apple’s production of the iPhone 13 was 20 percent behind schedule from September to October this year, indicating that the company is still struggling. Apple had to reduce the iPhone 13’s total production target from 95 million to 85 million units.
