Apple rumored to not include any iPads for its September event

According to Mark Gurman, Apple’s iPhone 15 special event would most likely not include any iPads at all, with improvements to the iPad Air perhaps arriving in October instead. Apple will hold its “Wanderlust” event on Tuesday that is on 12th september 2023. During this event the company will announce this years iPhone models that is the iPhone 15 series. However, it is now being reported that the other goods that Apple will show will not include iPads.

Apple will not be introducing any new iPad models during the event. Instead, the Cupertino-based tech giant will mostly be concentrating on iPhones and Apple Watch Series 9 improvements.

According to Gurman, while iPads will be absent in September, they may be refreshed in October, albeit for non-Pro models. The Apple iPad Pro is expected to be updated in 2024.

Gurman believes the iPad Air is a good contender for launch, but he provides few precise details during the chat. Gurman feels an updated model with improved specifications is on the road and will be “coming soonish.”

According to Gurman, the October refresh may not be event-based, and he is sceptical that another presentation for other product categories will be held this year. In principle, Gurman suggests that the new models may be introduced quietly through press releases.

The lack of an iPad showing in September is another setback for fans hoping for a jam-packed presentation. Also, recently, Ming-Chi Kuo predicted on Friday that M3 MacBook models will not be available in 2023.
