The event’s date was teased in a poster with the caption “Catch the next wave of mind-blowing innovation,” and interestingly, it’s happening a month earlier than the usual schedule, according to GSMArena. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip may feature a novel 1+5+2 core architecture, distinct from the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 series, which uses a 1+2+2+3 setup, as reported.

This potential configuration could include a single Cortex-X4 prime core, five Cortex-A720 cores, and two Cortex-A520 cores, all paired with an Adreno 750 GPU. Furthermore, the L3 cache memory is expected to increase from 8MB to 10MB. This chip will likely power the next generation of premium smartphones from a number of brands. According to reports, it will be offered in two versions: one for laptops and tablets and a second for mobile phones.
