Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli Attend Krishna Das’s Kirtan in Mumbai: A Quiet Evening of Chanting

Away from cameras, cricket and film sets, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were recently spotted at a spiritual gathering in Mumbai. The couple joined a kirtan led by devotional singer Krishna Das, and videos from the evening quickly spread online. Here’s what we know.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli: Event

A Spiritual Evening

According to Pinkvilla, the pair joined the crowd for an evening of soulful chanting. Anushka sang along with the devotees, while Virat stayed more reserved, quietly praying and soaking in the atmosphere. Their participation drew attention because it highlights a more private, spiritual side of the couple.

The Look

Anushka’s outfit: She wore a vibrant purple anarkali suit with a round neckline, full-length sleeves and a fitted bodice. She paired it with churidar bottoms, keeping the look classic and understated.

Virat’s outfit: He kept things simple in a black T-shirt and white pants, a comfortable choice for a relaxed evening.

Recent Mumbai Sightings

The outing follows their recent arrival in Mumbai from Alibaug, when they were seen stepping off a yacht at the Gateway of India. The couple reportedly lives in London for a more private lifestyle, while visiting India for professional commitments and personal events.

What I like about this story is how little there is to it. There’s no controversy or big announcement, just a couple enjoying music and prayer in a crowd. Public figures rarely get that kind of quiet, and it shows how kirtan can bring a mix of people together in the same space.
