Ananya Panday’s Emotional Support as Brother Ahaan Panday Makes Sensational Bollywood Debut in ‘Saiyaara’

The Panday family is celebrating as Ahaan Panday makes his much-anticipated Bollywood debut in Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri. The film, which hit theaters on July 18, 2025, has already created waves at the box office with an impressive opening collection. Leading the celebration is his cousin and established actress Ananya Panday, who couldn’t contain her excitement as she crowned herself president of “Ahaan’s Fan Club.”

A Sister’s Pride: Ananya Panday’s Heartfelt Tribute

Ananya Panday took to Instagram and shared adorable pictures with Ahaan, captioning the post with “A star is born (with star emoji) my Saiyaara @ahaanpandayy.” In one particularly endearing photo, she’s seen with “Ahaan Panday Fan Club” stuck to her forehead, showcasing her unwavering support for her cousin’s career milestone.

The CTRL actress wore a stylish black off-shoulder dress complemented with a luxury brown handbag, while Ahaan kept it casual in a beige shirt over a white t-shirt paired with blue jeans and white sneakers. Their chemistry as siblings was evident in every frame.

From Childhood Dreams to Silver Screen Reality

The emotional journey became even more touching when Ananya shared childhood pictures with Ahaan the day before the film’s release. “Been obsessed with my brother since day 1 and I can’t wait for the world to feel the same,” she wrote, adding, “welcome to the movies Ahaaani !! The sweetest boy.”

These nostalgic posts revealed the deep bond between the cousins, showing how Ananya has been Ahaan’s biggest supporter throughout his journey from childhood dreams to Bollywood reality.

The Panday Family Legacy Continues

For those unfamiliar with the family dynamics, Ahaan Panday is the son of Chikki Panday and Denne Panday, making him Ananya’s cousin rather than her biological brother. Unlike his famous relatives, Ahaan’s parents stayed away from the glamorous world of entertainment.

The young actor joins a family already established in Bollywood, with uncle Chunky Panday and cousin Ananya having paved the way. His sister Alanna Panday has also made her mark as a successful social media influencer and YouTuber.

Box Office Success and Industry Reception

Saiyaara has made an impressive start at the box office, with reports suggesting an excellent ₹20 crore opening, indicating strong audience reception for the newcomer’s debut. The film’s success validates Mohit Suri’s faith in launching fresh talent and Yash Raj Films’ continued commitment to nurturing new actors.

This achievement places Ahaan among the successful debuts of recent years, setting a strong foundation for his future in Indian cinema. Industry experts are already taking note of his screen presence and acting abilities.
