AMD’s CEO, Lisa Su, will give a keynote at COMPUTEX 2024

The much-anticipated COMPUTEX 2024, a premier technology exhibition on the global stage, is set to take place from June 4th to 7th at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2.

This year’s event, themed “Connecting AI,” will spotlight cutting-edge AI technologies and industry trends, drawing in an estimated 1,500 exhibitors from across the globe occupying around 4,500 booths. Dr. Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD, will kick off the event with an Opening Keynote on the morning of June 3rd.

A New Dawn for AI: The Rise of AI PCs and Beyond

As we step into 2024, it’s clear that this is the era of AI PCs. Thanks to advancements in artificial intelligence, products such as AI PCs, AI servers, and AI smartphones are flourishing in the market. This year’s COMPUTEX is poised to dive into six key themes: AI computing, Advanced Connectivity, Future Mobility, Immersive Reality, Sustainability, and Innovations.

In a bid to shape the AI ecosystem, COMPUTEX is joining forces with international tech giants like Acer, ASRock, ASUS, Delta, Gigabyte, G.Skill, Intel, MSI, and Pro Gamersware, among others. Further, the InnoVEX exhibit dedicated to startups will serve as a hub for innovative teams worldwide, fostering cross-industry collaboration and infusing the AI technology landscape with renewed vigor.

Keynotes and Forums: A Glimpse into the Future of AI

A highlight of COMPUTEX is its keynote sessions featuring industry stalwarts. This year, the Opening Keynote will be delivered by Dr. Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD. Having been honored with the Robert N. Noyce Medal, the highest semiconductor accolade by the IEEE, Dr. Su has spearheaded AMD’s transformation into a leader in high-performance and adaptive computing.

In her keynote, Dr. Su will shed light on AMD’s next-generation products that are set to enable novel experiences and groundbreaking AI capabilities across various sectors, from cloud computing and edge computing to PCs and intelligent devices.
