Amazon set to unveil its robotic Echo for its show in September 2021

Amazon in recent news announced that it has set aside the date for its latest launch event and the company plans on unveiling its latest ‘helpful’ products for late 2021 and 2022. these products, if sources are correct might come in both hardware and software form. Recent reports coming from Bloomberg, claim to have the latest word on what exactly will be introduced during this show.

According to sources, the e-commerce giant has an “Echo for Walls” ready to debut during its upcoming event. The device is code-named Hoya and will come with a 15-inch display and also will have amount so that it can be set on a wall and will presumably act as a TV-like smart-home hub however, this one will feature a touchscreen.

Its also true that Echo for Walls is also assumed to be able to stand on a table or desk like most of the rest of its siblings. There are also reports that the company has something called a “Home Robot” in the works. We don’t have any other information available about this device however, it may be possible that the robot is a variation of the existing Echo Show 10, which comes with a display free to spin around on its base so it can face the user at all times.

On another note, the device also will reportedly have an alleged successor, also known as Vesta, which might just sprout legs or wheels, which will make the robot a better follower of its user around their home. This fully functional “home robot”, on the other hand, is touted to lack arms or the ability to climb stairs.

This effort by Amazon is a futuristic take on the smart speaker technology and is also reported to actually existed in the form of working samples active in Amazon employee homes, and this technology might indeed be ready to showcase at the upcoming press conference. Then again, the OEM might be inclined to unveil more conventional tech in its place. These products are expected to appear before the public on September 28, 2021.
