Ai+ Smartphone has announced a price revision for specific models within its smartphone portfolio, with increases of approximately ₹2,000, effective immediately from August 21, 2026. The company attributes this adjustment to sustained increases in component and input costs affecting the broader smartphone manufacturing sector.

The decision reflects ongoing challenges within the global smartphone industry, which has contended with escalating costs across critical components, particularly memory. Manufacturing, logistics, and other essential inputs have also seen increased expenditures, putting pressure on device economics across all price segments. This environment has compelled manufacturers to re-evaluate pricing strategies to maintain a balance between affordability and product quality.

Ai+ Smartphone stated it had previously absorbed a significant portion of these incremental costs to keep pricing accessible for consumers. However, persistent cost pressures have necessitated a “measured price revision” across select devices.

 Ai+ Smartphone- Overview

Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone and Founder of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, commented on the development. “Our mission is to deliver exceptional technology and real value to Indian consumers while building a strong, sustainable business,” Sheth stated. “The industry is under pressure with rising component costs, and while we’ve absorbed much of it, a strategic price adjustment is necessary. We will continue to provide unparalleled value across our offerings.”

The company emphasized that the revision aligns with the broader shifts in industry cost structures. It aims to foster a sustainable balance among affordability, product experience, and long-term value for its product lineup. Despite the new pricing, Ai+ Smartphone reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a strong price-to-experience proposition and will continue to monitor market and supply-chain dynamics to ensure its devices remain competitive for Indian consumers.
