AGM has returned with a new Rugged smartphone. Though, there is a catch this time! AGM is widely considered the primary head brand for outdoor solid mobile devices. For those who are not aware, rugged smartphones are famous for their military-grade water-proof, dust-proof, and shock-proof protection!

And with this, AGM undoubtedly wins the cup for creating the ‘best-ruggedized gadget’ for the whole United Kingdom Mobile Industry. As a result, the brand has been nominated for the 2019 United Kingdom Mobile Industry Awards. Alongside, even there is a bigger brother, AGM Glory Pro existing as well.

AGM Glory G1S: Specifications and features

The new rugged beast has also one additional thing on its sleeve. Because AGM Glory G1S will blow all the competition out of the water with the quality of its thermal imaging camera. With the 256 x 192 pixel resolution and 25Hz frame rate it’s way above the rest of the competition. And the rest of the cameras are not far behind. With a 48MP Sony IMX582 main sensor you have a solid base, boosted by a 2MP macro and also a 20MP night vision camera with an IR LED.

Hardware features are rock solid too, headed by the Snapdragon 480 5G processor, 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage. The big 6.53-inch LCD FHD+ screen can’t beat either. And the 5500 mAh battery with 18W charging will provide quite some persistence. The rugged standards are up to the task too with IP68/IP69K and the updated MIL-STD-810H.

Design-wise it’s quite a looker too with stunning engrossing back panel design sporting aramid-like texture and Bayer soft rubber. There are also some additional bonuses like a specially made hardware button or a laser pointer function.

AGM Glory G1S: Pricing and availability

In the United States, the AGM Glory G1S holds a price tag of 699 dollars (nearly around Rs. 54,300) for its sole 8GB/128GB configuration. It can be purchased through the brand’s official website, Amazon, and partner retail outlets across the country.
