What Is “Absolute Value of Romance” About?
The drama centres on Yeo Eui Ju (Kim Hyang Gi), a high school student who secretly writes a Boys’ Love novel with her school’s impossibly handsome teachers as the main characters. Things spiral hilariously — and romantically — out of control when she keeps running into these very teachers in real life at the most inconvenient moments, turning her once-ordinary school days into something completely unmanageable.
What Do the Episodes 11 & 12 Stills Reveal?
The new stills tease the show’s most tense sequence to date. Ga Woo Soo (Cha Hak Yeon) is seen collapsed and badly injured mid-rush, while Eui Ju and Choi Ji Ah (Yoon Hye Rim) look on in visible panic. The cause of his injury remains deliberately unexplained — which is, of course, the entire point.
Arriving at the scene is Jung Ki Jeon (Sohn Jeong Hyuck), whose usually warm smile has been replaced by a sharp, urgent gaze. He’s joined by Yoon Dong Joo (Kim Dong Gyu) and Noh Da Joo (Kim Jae Hyun), meaning the full “handsome teacher squad” descends on the crisis at once. Meanwhile, a separate set of stills hints at another bombshell: Ki Jeon appears on the verge of finally confessing his true feelings for Woo Soo, with Eui Ju’s worried expression in the background suggesting she may be caught right in the middle of it all. The Hidden Past That Changes Everything
Episodes 11 and 12 also promise to crack open the mystery of Yoon Dong Joo, the Korean language teacher who has so far been the group’s gentle, literary-boy type. A dramatic transformation is teased as his previously hidden past surfaces — shifting him from soft-spoken background character to someone with far more complexity than anyone expected. It’s exactly the kind of mid-series character pivot that gives a show its second wind. Don’t miss our ongoing K-Drama episode coverage at TechnoSports for all the latest recaps and updates.
