The “Ticket to Finale” task was called off, leading to the introduction of Family Week with a twist. Each housemate had to give a star to another contestant they believed had performed exceptionally well in the show. The two contestants with the maximum stars would then become contenders for the final spot through another task.

The Star-Crossed Contestants: Pooja Bhatt and Abhishek Malhan

As per the live stream, Pooja Bhatt received three stars, closely followed by Abhishek Malhan with two. Other housemates like Bebika Dhurve, Elvish Yadav, and Avinash Sachdev received one star each. This set the stage for an intense face-off between Pooja and Abhishek for the coveted first-finalist position.

The Task That Defined the Finalist

The makers of Bigg Boss OTT 2 introduced a task that involved Pooja and Abhishek each receiving a basket. At intervals, fruits were given to them on a slide, and other contestants had the power to collect the fruits and offer them to the contender they wanted to see in the finale. The task took an unexpected turn when Avinash Sachdev and Abhishek Malhan engaged in a physical altercation, leading to the first round being called off.

Due to Pooja Bhatt’s health concerns, she was asked to nominate a representative and chose Jad Hadid. The task continued with Abhishek and Jad Hadid as contenders, and the tables turned when Abhishek’s friends: Elvish, Manisha, and Jiya joined forces to help him gather more fruits, eventually leading to his victory. Not only did Abhishek secure his spot as the first finalist of the season, but he also emerged as the last captain of the house, further solidifying his strategic gameplay.

Pooja Bhatt’s Change of Heart

The dynamics inside the Bigg Boss house are ever-changing, and contestants’ feelings towards each other can evolve. Pooja Bhatt’s initial aversion towards Abhishek Malhan was evident, but recently, she has been more friendly towards him and even offered him advice on how to play the game better. Evicted contestant Aashika Bhatia highlighted this change of heart, expressing surprise at Pooja’s newfound affection for Abhishek.

Instigations and Game-Playing Tactics

During Aashika Bhatia’s temporary absence from the house due to a medical test, Pooja Bhatt’s attitude underwent a significant transformation. She began making peculiar statements and spoke negatively about another contestant, Manisha. Fans and viewers speculated that Pooja’s sudden shift in behaviour was a result of external influence and accused the show’s makers of providing her with a strategic advantage upon her return. Social media platforms buzzed with discussions on whether Pooja’s change in attitude was authentic or merely a calculated game-playing tactic.
