The fantasy comedy entertainer starring Jayasurya added Rs. 1.15 crore on its third Sunday, closing its third weekend at Rs. 2.70 crore — a 60 per cent dip from the previous weekend. The running cumulative gross at the Kerala box office has now reached Rs. 51.15 crore.

Despite the natural slowdown, Aadu 3 has already become the highest-grossing film of Jayasurya’s career. That’s a milestone worth celebrating regardless of what Week 3 numbers look like.

Based on current trends, Aadu 3 is expected to wrap up its theatrical run somewhere between Rs. 55 crore and Rs. 60 crore in Kerala, depending on how it holds in its third and fourth weeks.

That’s a genuinely impressive finish for a Malayalam film in its home market, especially given the stiff new competition from Vaazha 2, which opened to a sensational Rs. 27 crore in its first weekend alone — putting real pressure on screens and audiences alike.

Aadu 3: One Last Ride – Part 1 stars Jayasurya, Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Sunny Wayne, and Dharmajan Bolgatty, along with new additions Alleya Bourne and Krishna Jeev. The film is written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, and produced by Vijay Babu and Venu Kunnappilly under the banners of Friday Film House and Kavya Film Company.
