AA22xA6: Atlee Heard One Song and Signed Sai Abhyankkar for the Allu Arjun Blockbuster

There are breakthrough moments in every artist’s life, but few are as cinematic as this one. Young composer Sai Abhyankkar had never signed a single film when he played one track for director Atlee. The very next second, Atlee offered him his next big-budget project — AA22xA6, starring Allu Arjun. The music for one of Indian cinema’s most awaited collaborations is now officially confirmed.

AA22xA6 — Quick Facts

One Song Changed Everything

Speaking at the launch of his new single Pavazha Malli, Sai Abhyankkar revealed a moment that feels straight out of a film. When he first met Atlee, he hadn’t signed a single project. He played one song, and Atlee immediately asked if he could score his next film. Sai described his reaction as sheer shock — and genuine gratitude that has stayed with him since.

The two were later spotted in a music composition session during Christmas 2025, which was a clear sign that things were moving fast. Now, with Sai officially confirming he’s working on the AA22xA6 score, the excitement around this project just went up another notch.

It’s a remarkable story in an industry where composers often spend years building their resume before landing flagship projects. Atlee’s instinct-driven decision to back Sai speaks to the kind of bold, gut-led filmmaking that has come to define the director’s career. Sai also has Karuppu and D55 in his expanding lineup.

What We Know About AA22xA6

The Allu Arjun–Atlee collab is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious pan-India projects in recent memory. Built around a parallel universe concept, the film reportedly features Allu Arjun in multiple roles, with Deepika Padukone as the female lead and Rashmika Mandanna potentially stepping into antagonist territory. A two-part structure has also been speculated.

The first teaser glimpse is expected on April 8, 2026, coinciding with Atlee’s 44th birthday — a date fans are already circling.
