AMD is looking to somehow counter the intense competition Intel has brought with 12th Gen Alder Lake processors and so, a new CPU has been spotted on SiSoftware, still based on AMD’s Zen 3 architecture. Intel has constantly dominated AMD on the budget CPU market and now seeing the market slipping back to Blue team AMD is suspected to launch a lot of CPUs pretty soon.
Among them, a new 8-core Ryzen 7 5700 seems to be another CPU that could make way soon and the specs we see in the leaked benchmark show boost clock speeds of up to 4.64GHz and sporting 16MB L3 cache.
It could be a new CPU AMD is looking to counter Intel’s Core i5-12600K, which we reviewed recently, has already destroyed the Ryzen 5 5600X. Considering the scores we see, the Ryzen 7 5700 is almost similar to that of the Ryzen 7 5700G, a bit slower in this benchmark, but it does seem AMD is looking to provide more options to attract consumers in 2022.
