A Love Other Than Yours First Look: Seo Kang Jun and Ahn Eun Jin’s Happy Past Meets a Heartbreaking Present

Ten years of love, and suddenly nothing feels certain anymore. KBS 2TV’s new drama A Love Other Than Yours has released poignant new stills contrasting the blissful early days of its central couple with the emotional weight they’re facing right before the premiere — and it’s already tugging at hearts.

A Love Other Than Yours: The Story So Far

Seo Kang Jun plays Namgoong Ho, a stable corporate employee devoted to his longtime girlfriend, Lee Mi Do (Ahn Eun Jin), a film director determined to chase her dreams despite reality’s harsh pushback. The drama follows their relationship a decade in, as familiar comfort gives way to unexpected emotional turbulence.

What the New Stills Reveal

The newly released photos trace Namgoong Ho and Lee Mi Do’s journey all the way back to childhood, capturing warm, joyful moments spanning their decade-long relationship. But the tone shifts sharply in present-day stills, where the couple appears on the verge of tears, weighed down by unavoidable questions about marriage and their future together. It’s a striking visual contrast that sets up the drama’s central emotional conflict before a single episode has aired.

According to the production team, viewers should expect to see how this ten-year relationship truly unfolds from episode one, paying close attention to how the couple reacts when real-life problems can’t simply be solved by love alone.

Why This Drama Feels Different

Rather than leaning into fantasy or workplace-romance tropes, A Love Other Than Yours grounds itself in something far more relatable: the quiet erosion of comfort in a long-term relationship, and the courage it takes to confront hard truths. That emotional realism, paired with the leads’ evident chemistry, makes this one of the more intriguing K-drama premieres this season.
