Design and Build Quality
The design of the EarFun Air Pro 4 is based on its predecessor EarFun Air Pro 3. It has a simple and elegant design with a matte finish. It comes in a rectangular-capsule-shaped case. The case lid is well built, so it doesn’t feel breaking down after using it for some time. It is also very lightweight and easy to carry. EarFun Air Pro 4 buds are in-ear type with a stem-based design.
Although the case is of matte finish, the earbuds have a glossy finish, which is completely dust-proof and fingerprint mark-proof. The feel of the product is quite premium and the build quality is also good which looks fine to handle daily usage.
Connectivity
EarFun has now introduced their own app, EarFun Audio App, for better connectivity and customization. EarFun Air Pro 4 has multipoint connection and Bluetooth 5.4, which enables this Bluetooth wireless earbud to connect with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, offering ultra-low power consumption and the most secure connection. You can also use the integrated Google Fast Pair feature with Android devices so makes the connectivity seamless.
The app will allow you to customize the earbuds in different ways. So EarFun has taken their game to the next level with their app this time. The Bluetooth connection is also very stable for upto 10m easily.
Battery Backup
One of the main concers while buying a earbud is its battery backup. But Earfun has done it good in this category as well. EarFun claims up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge, and extend playback up to 52 hours with the USB-C charging case. A 10-minute fast charge can boost up to 2 hours of playtime.
Their claim is somewhat true to some extent, as I got around 9-10 hours of battery backup on a single charge, and it charges up fast as well. So it does live up to the expectations.
